A very exciting day for Melbourne, Fuddy fans with the LA Rams touching down ahead of their historic NFL game at the MCG tomorrow. And let's cross to our team of reporters on the ground now. First to Katie Brown, who joins us from Rams House, Morning to You, Katie. Fuddy fans are welcoming the Americans with Open Arms, it seems. Welcome to Guys, what a great morning it's been on the eve of NFL history here between the LA Rams and the San Fran 49ers, but this is Rams House down at Crown on the Yarra River. They have transformed it. It has been absolutely incredible. I've got someone important. I'd love for you all to meet. Stephanie Chen, the LA Rams head of international. This has been outstanding. There has been so much work, but what's been the maybe the biggest surprise or the biggest takeaway from what you've seen? Good morning. I don't know about surprises. We've been working on this for four years since 2022 before the game was even a glimmer
in anybody's eye. And I've seen the passion and the fandom here in Australia and Melbourne specifically. So not surprised by how amazing it is, the energy of the city and everybody's excited for NFL and Rams football to land here in LA or in Melbourne. In Melbourne, you know what? We have been absolutely loving that I think the NFL is embraced Australia because for so long, we don't play it down here. But we are sport mad and we love any sport. Is that what you've also picked up? Absolutely, absolutely. Yeah. And look, when we started to get involved here in Australia, that was one of the number one reasons why we thought Australia would be a good place to start our international efforts to help grow the Ramsman base. And also have other sports from Australia been taking note in asking lots of questions like NRL, IFL cricket. Yeah, I'm pleased. We work a lot, collaborate both ways, right? It's not just a one-way learning track with NFL, NRL, lots of learning tours in LA where they come and check out our stadium and just learn from each other. Also, we've done work with cricket.
Like lots of Aussie stakeholders just around the city, around the country coming to learn from each other. You know what? You've obviously done an incredible job because you're in charge of marketing around that international business and spreading the word and we cannot get enough of NFL. Hopefully the LA Rams get that result that we're after and hopefully we can get you back down under, maybe? Absolutely. And everybody, come on down and we're free, open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We love to see you. Absolutely, great entertainment. So LA Rams, their house is here on the yara just outside the crown. It's going to be epic. Thank you so much, Stephanie. Thank you. Thanks, Katie. You're welcome. Nana Andrew McCormack, who is outside the MCG. Morning to you, Makar. You're with some very excited fans there. I forget the Rams. The MCG is going to be a sea of red and gold. Bang, bang. That's right. The 49ers faithful, everywhere you go in Melbourne, it is just a sea of red and gold. We have embraced the 49ers. They've been here for a week and Harry here's an Aussie. But have a look at the tattoo.
He's got a bit of fresh ink. A famous moment in Niners history there back in 2011 to play off when that is fandom. Definitely. So you've got Harry from Australia. We've got all these guys from here. These are all from across the states. Not just from the Bay Area. We've got from Chicago, from Chicago. Miss Love the Hair. Thank you. Thank you. The best thing about Australia so far? The people, the food, the 49ers family, that's all come together. So amazing. And Reggie the Spartan over here, my man. Reggie the Spartan. Look at this man. He's famous among the faithful crew. And of course, what was your name, sorry? Suzy. Suzy from Tampa. It is about 40 degrees. So 100 plus Celsius. 100 plus Fahrenheit in your language there. But what have you loved about a show? And what's going to happen tomorrow? What can we expect from the Niners? Well, the Niners you're going to see, you're red in the stadium. It's all family. We're the faithfuls. We travel. And we love meeting new people and new states, new country. Enjoy it in the food. And the people are awesome here. And the food is great.
That's so good. Look at this man. He's dressed for the occasion as well. It's a bit fresh this morning. Little bit fresh. So. Where are you from, sir? I'm California. OK, California. I love it. Well, hey, welcome to Melbourne. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. And that's another first down. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. What do you guys? Yeah. Yeah, I will. Thanks to our team reporters there.
