On June 4th, 2010, his stepmother, Terri, took Kyron Horman to school. 7-year-old Kyron usually rode the bus, but there was a science fair at school, and he needed help transporting his project. He never made it to class and didn't return home.

Witnesses saw Kyron and Terri at the science fair that day, but what happened after that remains a mystery. Much of the suspicion surrounding Kyron's disappearance has fallen on Terri, but she has maintained her innocence.
