Kodi Burns Returns to Auburn, Boosting 2026 Season

Burns spent five strong years there before under Gus Malzahn, and now reunites with Gilesh after working together previously. Burns left Auburn in 2021 for Tennessee's staff, where Gilesh was offensive coordinator at the time. From there, he moved to the New Orleans Saints for three years before joining Gilesh again at the University of South Florida this past season. This homecoming brings a familiar face back to the plains. Auburn supporters are buzzing about Burns' return because he knows the program inside out. He's already helping Gilesh and the new coaches settle in while serving as a key recruiter.
