King Charles, who has a long history of environmental activism, also took some time to visit a national park where he met Buddy, the Bulls Eagle.

Their majesties also returned to the White House to bid farewell to their hosts, the US President giving this review of the trip. The official reason for the Royal trip was to mark the 250th anniversary of America declaring independence from British rule, but it was also designed to mend the relationship that has been lately strained by the UK's refusal to join the United States war against Iran. Now the Royal Charm Offensive appears to have worked. President Trump was very impressed by King Charles and Queen Camilla, but there are questions about how long that can last the US President is known for being unpredictable.
