Kimberly Robinson just lived a dream most folks can only imagine, watching the Artemis II crew blast off on April 1st. After a 31-year run in NASA, her hard work helped make it happen, pushing humans farther from Earth than ever before. She served as payload mission manager for Artemis I, the first human-rated rocket to loop the moon since Apollo days. Robinson also built up the space launch system program, the main powerhouse for all Artemis flights. Her impact hit close to home when she briefed Victor Glover on the rocket back as a rookie astronaut in Huntsville. Now he's piloting that very mission, a full circle win for her.
