Killer Whale: Survival Thriller in the Ocean

After hitting the U.S. earlier this year, it's set to drop for rent, or own on digital platforms in the U.K., starting May 18th, 2026. The story follows best friends Trish Ann Matty, played by Mel Johnson and Virginia Gardiner, who head out for some downtime but end up battling A. Serious captive Orca, a tough pass hangs over them as they fight to stay off the menu in this intense ocean showdown. Virginia Gardiner leads as Matty, fresh off a personal tragedy that turns their trip deadly. Fans know her from Marvel's runaways, and the big hit Fall, where she nailed another survival thriller back in 2022. Director Joe Ann Brecken helmed this R-rated ride, co-writing the script with Catherine E. McFee. The cast rounds out with Mitchell Hope, Mia Grunwald, and others backed by a solid crew handling everything from cinematography to the score.
