Khalil Mack Returns to Chargers on One-Year Deal

The 35-year-old signed a one-year deal worth $18 million, all fully guaranteed to return next season. This comes as Mack heads into his 13th NFL year-and-fifth with the Chargers. He was originally drafted fifth overall by the Raiders back in 2014. Mack stands out as one of the top pass rushers in the league. He earned defensive player of the year honors in 2016 and has won 13 career sacks, good for six among active players. Since arriving in Los Angeles ahead of the 2022 season, he has made the Pro Bowl three times and notched 36-and-a-half, sacks over four years. Here this offseason, Mack thought of our retiring but chose to play at least one more year. Fans are thrilled to see the nine-time pro-buller back in action.
