Today’s episode is about the life of Khaled Al-Husseini. Al-Husseini is an Afghan-American novelist, UNHCR goodwill ambassador, and former physician. He wrote famous novels such as the The Kite Runner and 1,000 Splendid Suns, which is one of my favorite books. I highly recommend it, the story is beautiful and heartbreakingt. Al-Husseini’s success from his first novel The Kite Runner is what allowed him to quit medicine and pursue writing full-time
