Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr apologize on Saturday for comments that seem to doubt a medical condition of his new center, Chris Daps, Porzingis. The team traded for the seven foot Porzingis from the Atlanta Hawks at the NBA deadline. He had revealed earlier that he deals with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or P-O-T-S, a circulation issue that causes symptoms when, standing up, it's not life-threatening, but affected him during last year's playoffs with the Boston Celtics. Kerr spoke to reporters before the game against the Los Angeles Lakers and owned up to his mistake right away. Porzingis joined the Warriors over three weeks ago but has only played one game so far. And Achilles injury at tray time pushes debut to February 19th and he missed the next three games due to illness. He practiced on Friday and sat out Saturday's match-up, but Kerr said he might play Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Daily News Now is powered by our sponsor,
