Kentucky Basketball's Garrison, Williams Spark Win

The ninth seeded Wildcats trailed by just three at halftime before dominating the second half at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. A big spark came from junior forward, Brandon Garrison off the bench. In 26 minutes, he scored 17 points with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals. It's exciting. He drained back-to-back three-pointers midway through the second half, firing up the crowd and showing growth in his outside shooting. Adding depth was guard Cam Williams back after breaking his foot on January 21. He played 17 minutes, hitting one of three threes for three points plus two rebounds and a steal. His return gives Coach Mark Pope another shooter an energetic option for the rotation moving forward. His victory brought huge relief to Wildcats fans already on edge this season.
