Katie Schide: Western States 100 Preview Episode for 2023
About this episode
Katie Schide is a professional ultrarunner for The North Face and is the current women’s UTMB Champion after securing her win in Chamonix last year. And this year, she is towing the line at Western States for the very first time, as she punched her Golden Ticket to Western States at UTMB.
In this episode, Katie shares how she was able to bounce back quick from a foot injury through training, what it’s been like training in the states versus her home in Europe, and her conversations with her coach, Jason Koop, leading up to the race.
Huge thank you to Katie for coming on the show!
