Kate Howell's Marathon Swim Story

About this episode

Send us Fan Mail

On April 9th, 2020, we talked with Kate Howell about crazy swim adventures, staying calm in stressful situations, contentment in quarantine with a baby, and tips for building habits that encourage you to do your PT!

In her own words: Kate Howell is a California native and a Physical Therapist that lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a member of the South End Rowing club and loves exploring open water and adventure swimming in rivers, lakes, and ocean.  She is a new mom to a human and an old mom to some canines and on the journey of balancing marathon swimming with a baby (paging my engineers out there- baby tow?). Accomplished swims from 8 mins to 25 miles.
