Kansas Jayhawks Dominate Winter Academic All-Big 12

0:00On April 30, the Big 12 Conference just announced their winter academic all Big 12 teams and Kansas J-Hawks crushed it with 36. Student athletes earning honors across three sports. This recognition hits right after the J-Hawks set a department record with a 3.54 GPA for the fall 2025 semester. It's the eight straight semester where every Kansas team posted a 3.0 GPA or higher, showing real discipline in the classroom. To qualify, athletes need a 3.0 cumulative GPA or over the last two semesters, plus play in 20% of their team's contests out. Of 691 honorees conference-wide, Kansas shines with 21 from women's swimming and diving, eight from women's basketball, and seven from men's basketball. These scholar athletes prove you can ball out on the court or dominate in the pool while acing exams, keeping Kansas elite year after year.
