3:12And so I'm just like redoing something in your home. Not like your childhood bedroom. Nope, in my own home. Yep, right. Yep, which I, I pay the rent for and everything. In a different state and city. I just, just to be clear. Different state and city for sure. And my mom, and I have similar schedules to where like we talk all day. And then sometimes it's hard at night to talk more. She's a therapist. So I was trying to involve her in this little room renovation because I wanted us just to have something to talk about or whatever. Yeah. So I was texting her. So she sent me a picture of a room with a vibe I liked. And I told her, actually, you know, I already, because she was telling me where to get rugs, what to do. And I'm like, I actually just purchased a burnt yellow rug. I love it. I'll show you. And then I was like, I also want to do, and we've talked about this, you know the double duveting where like hotels will like double duvet. Oh, you put two inside there. So it's like huge. Yes. Only problem is in the summer, Todd. Is it? Yeah, it looks cool. Yeah. So I was asking her advice on that, like, how do I double duvet?

4:14And she said, no, period. Double duvet is one pulled up on top of the bed. And then one folded halfway at the end of the bed. That's not true. Like people do, do double duvets. She said, I would not do a double duvet. I would just do a quilt of a blanket halfway. Anyways, run your ideas through me before you buy. And what the hell is burnt yellow? So, and throughout this process, it's been very much like why having you asked me or like a little bit of permission? Well, in fairness, you did involve her in the process. So it's like, I feel like you kind of gave her the license to give her opinion. She doesn't, you don't have to do what she says. But like, I noticed this too with my mom. I'll include her in stuff because like I don't have a woman in my life, you know, so like aside from the women in this room, all of you. Yeah. I'll run stuff out because she fancies herself. She's, you know, has an eye for a design. It's her taste. Yeah. It's good taste, but it's her taste. It's not my taste. But I'll include her because I feel like if I don't, then she'll get her feelings heard.

5:17If I'm not, you know, and hey, we did about the couch. But then I, we're done. Right. You were very upset that I purchased a couch with that talking to you. She would have been devastated. Right. If I had purchased a couch without consulting her. I'm still mad about that. Yeah, right. So you can relate. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Helena, we just went through this whole process with my bridal proposal boxes. I posted a video. Literally, she's in the video like, you know, if you're going to do something, then you need to tell me and I'll make sure it's done right. Oh, sorry. Okay. Yeah. So yeah. So you do kind of, you over the door, you know, for the opinions. Oh, yeah. It was more like, which color do you like or hey, where do you think I should get a rug from? Not like I have to run. I'm paying for this. I like it. I can relate to this. I'm paying. I can relate to this. This is real. Okay. So this is normal or I don't know that it's normal, but I can relate to it because of that personality type. And it's lovely and I appreciate it. But like, yeah. Oh, no, I've done. Oh, wait a minute. You, you bought that like without talking to me. It's like, you way. Yeah. Like last week, she asked me to call my guy know so that she could handle like negotiating

6:20my medical bill. I was like, Mom, chill. That's right. That's right. That was. That's all right. Yeah. She can call mine. Me too. That's like call sometimes my apartment building. I'm like, Mom, I'm an adult like that would look crazy if you did that. So I just sometimes I wish somebody else would handle my adult responsibilities. Yes. Yeah. But then it comes with like, you know, you can't redecorate your room with that. That's exactly it. That's exactly it. So like if I think if you're going to include your parents and stuff at a certain age, then you've got to be willing to accept the feedback or you just don't ask them. But it can be a losing proposition either way because either you ask and then you get the feedback that you don't necessarily want or you don't ask and then it's, people are upset because they weren't included in the process. I just don't understand how my bedroom affects her in any way when she's in Michigan and she is acting like I have gone against her. I think the burnt yellow really did it. Like you really messed up with that. She doesn't even know what burnt yellow is.
