K2 Gold - High-Grade Step-Outs Expanding The Dragonfly Zone, Mojave Project: 27.43m of 4.03 g/t Au

The KE Report

About this episode

In this Company Update, I am joined by Anthony Margarit, President and CEO of K2 Gold (TSX-V: KTO | OTCQB: KTGDF | FRA: 23K), to discuss the latest exploration drill results from the Dragonfly zone at the Mojave Project in California.

Key discussion points include:

  • High-Grade Step-Out Assays: A review of newly released drill intercepts extending mineralization 40 meters beyond previous drilling, headlined by broad, multi-gram gold intervals alongside ultra high-grade sub-intervals.
  • Parallel Stacked Structures: How incoming drill data is confirming a series of predictable, parallel-stacked structural zones rather than a single isolated vein system, while clarifying the overall geometry at depth.
  • Near-Surface Mineralization: The discovery of unexpected gold intervals starting right at the surface, how these correlate down-dip to high-grade hits, and what geochemical signatures like arsenic are revealing about systemic continuity.
  • Program Momentum and Upcoming News Flow: An update on the broader 14,000-meter drill program as rigs move to the Newmont target area, alongside the expected turnaround times for pending lab assays.

Hey, everyone. Welcome to the K E. Ropp port in a company update with K to gold chatting again with the president and CEO Anthony Margarete. Anthony are going to be following up on another round of drill results from the Mojave project in California at the Dragonfly Zone. It was just a few weeks ago, tail end of August that Anthony and I were covering the initial drill results that again included some high grade gold hits over some pretty long width. So Anthony headline being over 27 meters of over four grams per ton gold at Dragonfly. There were four holes released in that news release, which I will post a link to give us a quick little overview of what you saw in those four holes, please. Thanks, Law Corey. Yeah, so very happy with the results we released today and you know, these are from this is a legitimate step out. So we're 40 meters from any previous drilling, extending the known system.

Strong intercepts, you know, 27.4 meters at 4.08 grams, as you mentioned, and a nice high grade interval on one of the holes there, three meters at 17.5 grams per ton gold. You know, we can we're confirming that these are as we've been saying all along, we've interpreted this to be not one structure we're chasing here, but multiple parallel stack structures and as we continue to release results, we will continue to prove that thesis. So, you know, good to see that happening. The geometry is coming into focus. It's giving us a clearer understanding of the or shoot geometry here and potentially widening it depth. So nice to see that as well. It's a strong geological signature. We are, you know, these are long linear predictable structures. So see in the continuity and continuing to prove that out to the market is something that was a goal of this program and something we're looking forward to continuing to do here. Alright, so I'm going to post figure three. That's a cross section of these drill holes and we can also see some of the 2020 highlight holes, a bit shaded in the background there.

Anthony compare to compare for us the high grade components. We see these purple bars that are the very high grade aspect at 17.5 grams per ton gold over three meters. With some of these longer width still good grades, but not that ultra high grade where we have almost 30 meters of two grams per ton gold just lower down in that hole. How does this all play into what you're looking for these multiple structures? Give us more context here, please. Sure. So I guess one thing I'd like to touch on right away are earlier release the first three holes from the Dragonfly target area. We noted that we got into mineralization right at surface. So saw gold mineralization, you know, running up to point nine grams per ton right at surface and some of the holes there. That was exciting for us because it was new. We did not expect that at all. And then on whole 24 I believe it is on the on today's release. High up in that hole 24 there was an intercept of three meters that 17 and a half grams and you know it's going to take a little bit a few more pierced points, but there's a chance that that three meters of 17 grams could be the down dip projection of what we saw at surface in the earlier release.

So, you know, we've got a strong geochemical tie to what we're seeing in the or what's being reflected in the assay results, especially with arsenic. It's really interesting to see this happening and I'm starting to call them happy accidents, but, you know, as we step out into untested ground, we're continuing to see new positive signs of mineralization. So this is just one of those. And I think as we continue to release more results over the coming weeks and months that, you know, we're hoping to continue on this trend of discovering these new stack structure parallel stack structures that that weren't previously known. And I guess all in all by the time we're finished this first phase of 14,000 meters drilling on the east side gold trend. I think it's going to start to create a pretty clear picture of what we're looking at here and the potential scale and size of these side gold trend, which is only part of the Mojave projects. So super exciting from that perspective.

Okay. So Anthony, you keep mentioning these stacked multiple structures. I think you can kind of see that in the cross section there where you do have. Looks like at least a couple structures and maybe that one deeper down. Is this typical for this area? What sort of resource would you be looking at? How can we compare this to other assets that people would know? There's a few of them out there. Like at this point, we're not going to try and put a label on what type of system this is yet. I think we'll we'll get there eventually. But at this point, we're continuing to just say it's. It's structurally hosted or structurally controlled sediment hosted gold. There's a number of properties out there that that reflect this style of mineralization. I guess. You know, this is it's an oxide goal in gold environment to see these type of grades in an oxide environment is incredibly encouraging. Right. Like, you know, I think there's a lot of oxide producers out there running an average grade of 0.6 to 0.8 grams per ton. So when we're into multiple gram per ton.

And then you can see the number of different styles of deposits or richness of deposits that that is what really excites us about majave and about. This this these side gold trend in particular. So we're down drilling on the new months and a target area right now, which is better part of three kilometers from some of these holes up a drag of fly. So I'm really, you know, I think as a company, we're really looking forward to getting those results out and demonstrating the scale of what we're looking at here. You know, I'm not going to go through numbers out as far as how many million tons of gold that we're looking at right now. It's early days. This is our second release. We've got seven holds released and another roughly 15 I think in the lab right now. And we haven't stopped drilling. We're not even halfway through the program yet. So, you know, just really happy with the results. And as we continue to release more knocking on wood right now. But I hope everything keeps going the way it will. All signs are pointing in that direction. So.

Look, I guess that's that's a story right now is long linear predictable structures a lot of news coming the grades fantastic and I'm looking forward to just keep pumping out these results. Now it looks like you still have a number of results coming from this drag and fly area, even though you've moved the drill down to new mont that figure to the plan map shows a few more holes pending talk to us about where those holes were drilled and when we could expect those. We should have results like we were it looks like the way our assays are coming out. We should have continued to have results coming out every two weeks, which is, you know, fine by us right now. And they're kind of going to come on a pad by pad basis. There's we're drilling. Usually four holes off of each drill pad. I think there's only two that we drilled three off of. So as far as news flow, that's what we're looking at and with the drag and fly target area, the pads that are coming are continuing to broad note the corridor of mineralization that we're looking at here. So just.

Increasing the strike length while at the same time getting out into new areas that have not seen any drilling and confirming the extent mineralization, but also getting some nice broad cuts on those structures to get us all to feel for the width of them. And you know, exploring still finding these new parallel these new stack structures that are running parallel to that high high grade core. Any insights on the drilling that's happening at new mont how that course looking how the turnaround times are going to be there how it's progressing. Turn around time should be consistent very happy with with labs operating. And yeah, I can't say too much because we don't have any assays, but we're happy with what we're seeing a long way here. You know, we've had decent intercepts in every hole. That we've released so far and hopefully continuing on that trend. All signs are pointing in that direction. All right. So overall drilling is continuing drill results will be coming and continuing to be released and you keep coming out with these drill results. I assume you're going to be releasing them sooner rather than later. So I'll keep following up with the Anthony again Anthony Margarita president and CEO of Kate to gold company has traded on the T.
