Juke Harris' Historic Season: NABC All-South Atlantic District

0:00On March 17th, Wake Forest sophomore guard Juke Harris earned first team honors on the NABC All-South Atlantic District team this week. He's averaging 21.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season. That puts him among the top scorers in program history, with over 700 points, joining just two other demon deacons legends. Nationally, Harris stands out as one of only six players averaging more than 21 points and six rebounds, and he's one of two guards doing it. His jump from 6.1 points as a freshman to this year's total marks the biggest increase of any division one player. For Wake Forest, this award caps five straight years of first team district nods, the second longest streak in school history. Harris also grab ACC, most improved player and second team all ACC honors earlier. In ACC play, he averaged 22.9 points, the second best in the league, and a demon deacon record since the early 70s.
