JP Morgan Attempts To Get Files From The Manhattan Prosecutors Office
About this episode
A federal judge ordered the Manhattan DA’s office to provide a privilege log describing the documents JPMorgan wants and later ruled that certain statements made by a plaintiff to one of the DA’s prosecutors must be turned over to the bank. The judge’s rulings underscore how the evidence held by prosecutors in New York — including victim statements — may play a role in the civil cases against JPMorgan by shedding light on what the bank and its former executives may have known about Epstein’s criminal conduct during their interactions with him.

What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. So JP Morgan is seeking files from the Manhattan DA's office in its Jeffrey Epstein lawsuits. And I find that laughable considering that the New York prosecutor's office let Jeffrey Epstein off the hook every single step of the way. Just go ask Sy Vance about Jeffrey Epstein and ask them why they argue that Jeffrey Epstein shouldn't be considered the worst of the worst when it comes to sex offenders. Because that's the argument the New York attorney's office made on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein. So other people might have forgotten I certainly haven't. And I know that those of you out there that are following this case you haven't forgotten either. And while I'm ranting real quick I might as well rant about all of the snake oil salesman that pop up on Twitter basically on a daily basis talking about Epstein. These people don't know the first thing about the first thing yet they get up there and talk about how they're going to expose the whole entire enterprise. Meanwhile those same people talking
about oh I'm going to expose this or expose that couldn't expose themselves at a nudist festival. So save the bullshit all right and stop trying to draw a traffic to your stupid Twitter site, your stupid Twitter handle by posting bullshit about Jeffrey Epstein that's not even real. And the crazy part about that is there's so much salacious stuff that you could talk about that it's insane that people make stuff up for example. When's the last time you heard a heart hitting piece about George Mitchell and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and if you don't know who George Mitchell is let me give you a little crash course real quick. George John Mitchell is an American politician diplomat and lawyer a leading member of the Democratic Party he served as a United States Senator from Maine from 1980 to 1995 and as Senate Majority Leader from 1989 to 1995. After retiring from the Senate Mitchell played a leading role in negotiations for peace in Northern
Ireland and in the Middle East he was appointed United States Special Envoy for Northern Ireland in 1995 to 2001 by President Clinton and as United States Special Envoy for the Middle East Peace 2009 through 2011 by President Barack Obama Mitchell was a primary architect of the 1996 Mitchell principles and the 1998 Good Friday Agreement in Northern Ireland and was the main investigator in two Mitchell reports one into the Arab Israeli conflict and one on the use of performance enhancing drugs in baseball Mitchell served as the chairman of the Walt Disney Company from March 2004 until January 2007 and later as chairman of the International Law firm DLA Piper he was the Chancellor of Queens University in Belfast Northern Ireland from 1999 to 2009 Mitchell also served as a co-chair of the Housing Commission at the Bipartisan Policy Center
and then when you scroll down a little bit further here on his Wikipedia page there's one little blurb about his Epstein relationship you ready for it Virginia Roberts a woman who has long claimed that disgraced pedophile and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein forced her to have sex with powerful men named Mitchell in documents unsealed on August 9th 2019 a day before Epstein's death by a federal court in the southern district of New York the papers included affidavits and depositions of key witnesses in a 2015 lawsuit that Roberts filed against Epstein and his associate Golan Maxwell Roberts accused the two individuals of sex trafficking her to high profile individuals including Mitchell in the early 2000s while she was underage Mitchell denied ever having met or spoken with Roberts and stated that he became aware of Epstein's criminal prosecution only through the media on November 30th 2021 Epstein's former pilot Larry Vesosky named Mitchell as one of the
people he recalled flying on one of Epstein's private planes but claimed he to have never seen sexual activity nor indication that such activity had taken place now remember this whole entire thing as far as Epstein getting arrested the second time around was initiated because the Miami Herald ran a piece because Alex Acosta got that job let's be very honest about what happened they were looking for dirt when it came to Acosta and they found it and that dirt was his connection to Jeffrey Epstein and Acosta as I've said a million times should have lost his job should have had all the ridicule that was thrown on top of him but why did it stop there why did the legacy media stop at Alex Acosta when we have names like George Mitchell who is and was way more influential than Alex Acosta could ever hope to be we're talking about the most powerful man in the Senate at one point not only that but a man who was brokering these peace deals on a world stage then you flip
the script and you start looking at who he was working for and it all makes sense right considering all of the ties Clinton has to Jeffrey Epstein it all makes sense but the legacy media refuses to dig deep here they refuse to really go after the people that they should be going after and so to all of these dumbass Twitter accounts as well they're too busy trying to move some kind of political message with their nonsense oh Tom Hanks is eating children and now he's locked in a basement in Guantanamo meanwhile the dude's doing movies and all of that stuff is provably false so why even bother with it because the time spent on all of that dumbass bullshit conspiracy theory nonsense is time spent away from the real scoundrels like George Mitchell and Bill Richardson so for all the Epstein experts out there all of a sudden on Twitter talking about how they're gonna expose the whole entire enterprise there's a name to start with and then let's see your work with that name and then maybe I'll give you another one I usually don't let that kind of shit bother me
but lately there has been like this push of a bunch of goofballs and I'm talking about people with like hundreds of thousands of followers making posts on Twitter that are absolutely ridiculous and it's taking people away from the actualities that happened in this case I don't know how many times I have to say it this is the case where you don't need to make anything up this is delicious enough with the people involved that you don't need to bring in all sorts of other people where you don't have the evidence to prove that they did all the things that you're trying to say that they did meanwhile George Mitchell has somebody who is pointing to him and saying he raped me he was part of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise and he raped me and nobody did anything about it nobody's doing anything about it so until action has been taken on the people that have already been named you can miss me with all of the bullshit to try and drive traffic to your dumbass Twitter page all right so now that my rant is out of the way we can dive into this article
from NBC News and see what author Chloe Atkins has for us headline JP Morgan seeks files from Manhattan DA and Jeffrey Epstein lawsuits JP Morgan Chase is seeking documents from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office in lawsuits the bankfaces over its relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein a former client according to federal court records attorneys for Bragg JP Morgan Chase a former senior executive Jeff Staley and the plaintiffs in the case attended a telephone conference before US District Judge Jed Raycoff on Tuesday Raycoff instructed Bragg's office to provide a so-called privilege log relating to documents sought by the Wall Street giant by Friday that's a list of documents Bragg's office argues are privileged and not subject to discovery a spokesman for Bragg said a protective order is in place so we cannot
comment on the nature of the requested documents they can never comment what it has to do with Epstein huh can you guys comment on his death yet or do you need some more time to figure out what happened you bunch of goofballs JP Morgan Chase didn't immediately respond to a request for comment the bankfaces to lawsuits filed last year by the US Virgin Islands and a woman identified as Jane though number one accusing it of having facilitated Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise JP Morgan knowingly negligently and unlawfully provided and pulled the levers through which recruiters and victims were paid and was indispensable to the operation and concealment of the Epstein trafficking enterprise the US Virgin Islands alleged in a complaint the two suit seek monetary damages JP Morgan Chase has denied liability Deutsche Bank agreed Wednesday to pay 75 million dollars to Epstein victims to settle a lawsuit claiming it enabled Epstein's conduct
and it's crazy that these people can get off the hook once again they're basically aiding and abetting sex trafficking and nobody gets in trouble oh yeah we're gonna pay a fine oh it's the biggest fine never bid out yeah like it's gonna stop them is it a deterrent until the next one right yeah it's the biggest fine until the next comeback uses their bank to molest a bunch of girls then we'll hear about how big the fine is again it's all just a bunch of bullshit i hope all of you see that i hope you see what's going on here when you have enough money you can buy your way out of anything even molesting little girls JP Morgan Chase sued Staley and March claiming he should be held liable for damages it might face from the lawsuits it accuses Staley who worked at the bank for more than 30 years of knowing about Epstein's conduct and engaging in sexual activity with young women procured by Epstein Staley asked for the lawsuits to be dismissed and said the bank is using him as a public
relation shield however he has expressed regret for his relationship with Epstein all this regret i don't want i don't care about your regret save your sorries save your i should have done something else's you all knew who he was you knew what he was up to and you all chose to chill with him JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Diamond is scheduled to be deposed in the lawsuits this month in a Bloomberg television interview last week he said he is so sad that we had any relationship to that man whatsoever you know we had top lawyers evaluating from the US securities and exchange commission enforcement the justice department you know and obviously had we known then what we know today we would have done things differently diamond said but it's very unfortunate and i have deep respect for these women that doesn't mean that we're liable for the action of an individual he added but i do have deep respect for them my heart goes out to them no you're not responsible for his actions you're responsible for enabling his actions and facilitating them you jackass but
JP Morgan Chase banking relationship was also known at the highest levels of the bank the US Virgin Islands said in court documents in august 2008 internal email says i would count Epstein's assets as a probable outflow for 2008 120 million or so as i can't imagine it will stay pending the diamond review and guess what it stayed additional internal emails and memos filed as exhibits also revealed that bank executives had been worried about the financial institutions relationship with Epstein dating to 2006 financial record showed Epstein uses his JP Morgan account to transfer around three million dollars to women and girls from 2003 to 2013 according to records the plaintiffs filed as exhibits the financial records do not disclose the names of those who received the transfers or their connections to Epstein and here's another breadcrumb for all of the super Epstein
investigators out there on twitter and elsewhere follow the money okay pretty simple right follow the money and you'll find everything that you're looking for and the reason that we didn't see Rico here is because of all of these people who were tied to Epstein financially you really mean to tell me Epstein wasn't out here engaging in money laundering and tax evasion and all the rest of it pretty much every transaction the dude made would have been illegal if he was hit under Rico predicates and that's why they didn't do it they hit Keith Rayniri with Rico right oh they hit Arkelly with Rico right oh why not Galan Maxwell why not Jeffrey Epstein just ask yourselves that during that time Epstein withdrew a little over five million in cash typically in amounts of $40,000 core document show meanwhile Senator Tina Smith Democrat of Minnesota a member of the banking housing and Urban Affairs Committee as Diamond and a letter last week why the bank ignored
obvious signs of Epstein's illegal activity and maintained a relationship with Epstein well Tina Smith why did George Mitchell why did Bill Richardson why did Bill Clinton go ask them that you're a big Senator right you're this big time Senator you're a big shot go ask your buddies go ask the people who used to call those very halls that you work in on a daily basis in DC home about Jeffrey Epstein and his illegal activity and furthermore Tina Smith since you injected yourself into the conversation I'm calling on you now to put together a whole last committee that digs deep into this and goes for Rico predicates or at the very least recommends Rico predicates put your money where your mouth is Tina Smith if true JP Morgan's decision to turn a blind eye to such egregious misconduct raises serious questions about its role in facilitating Epstein's abuse and its willingness or ability to root out and prevent other less apparent instances of sex trafficking she said
and remember as well that the Congress and the Senate they have their own slush fund of taxpayer that they can access to pay off their own sexual harassment lawsuits so these are the people were relying on to go after people like Epstein and put new laws on the books talk about inspiring confidence all right folks that's going to do it for this one all of the information that goes with the episode can be found in the description box
