Journalists Hit by Israeli Missile in Lebanon

The two were reporting live for Russia today, wearing clear press vests when the blast hit right behind them. They had been covering Hezbollah rocket fire into northern Israel from near the Al-Kazmiya bridge, close to a local military site. The pair heard the missile coming and took cover, but the explosion knocked them down anyway. Death stayed conscious and got quick medical help at a nearby hospital. Rita called the hit deliberate, pointing out their visible media markings in broad daylight. This came hours after Israel's military warned of strikes on bridges over the Latani River to target Hezbollah activity. It's not clear if Al-Kazmiya was on that list. Israeli air raids have killed at least four people in southern Lebanon today, with dozens more deaths reported nationwide over the past two days, as tensions keep escalating along the border.
