Joshua Jefferson's All-Big 12 Honor Boosts Cyclones

Senior forward Joshua Jefferson earned a spot on the All Big 12 first team after a breakout year leading the team. Jefferson took his game to another level, averaging 16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. His all-around skills let the offense flow through him smoothly as a power forward. Meanwhile, the conference was stacked with talent as Arizona grabbed three first team nods. Team mates Milan, Momsolovic, and Tam and Lipsi posted strong numbers too, but missed out on the top honors in this tough league. Even with a slight dip late in the season, Jefferson stayed in the player of the year mix alongside Duke's Cameron Booser. His recognition highlights Iowa State's depth heading into postseason.
