Joseph Duggar Extradited to Florida on Child Molestation Charges

Joseph Dugger, a 31-year-old from Arkansas, made a virtual court appearance on Friday, March 20, following his arrest earlier that week, on child molestation charges. He waved his right to an extradition hearing and agreed to transfer to Florida where the alleged crimes took place without entering a plea. The charges stemmed from incidents reported in Bay County, Florida. Back in 2020, when Dugger was accused of lewd and lascivious behavior with a daughter, victim under 12 years old. Tantytown police in Arkansas arrested him on Wednesday, March 18, based on a warrant from Florida authorities after assisting with the initial report. No family members, including his wife Kendra, showed up for the hearing. The couple, married since 2017, has four young children. Meanwhile, Dugger's brother Josh is already serving more than 12 years in prison for child pornography convictions.
