Her research focuses on using neuromodulation to understand pain and consciousness, and using neurotechnology and machine learning to develop new tools for brain stimulation. She is also a significant communicator and educator focused on AI, with her YouTube channel having many videos on how we interact with artificial intelligence in our daily lives, and she is also the Chief Operating Officer of the MIT Science Policy Review, a peer-reviewed science policy journal.
