0:00This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. So tonight I came with some pain in my knee, pain in my neck too, that I couldn't even move. It felt like I have like, I don't know what's going on with it, but it was just hurting me so bad. And I know I was going to get healed tonight, but when Pastor Jonathan came and just laid hands on me, I just felt the Holy Spirit come in me. And I just felt everything, just like everything just went away. I was like, no, hey, no, nothing. Like, I could move my knees now. I could move my neck without even hurting. No, hey, no more. We are raising up a family in this church. We're raising up a family in Pittsburgh. We're raising up a family in Texas that don't just know about God. They know God. They've handled His power. They've seen His power flow through up. You're coming out of here today carrying fresh fire, fresh anointing.

1:01Never to take another backward step. I want you to have your bibles open it with me to Joshua 1 verses 2 through 9. Joshua 1, 2 through 9. There's a pastor that I know that passed away last night before church. They made the announcement. So it got me thinking if this was my last time I was going to speak, which it's not. I'm not dying anytime soon. If you hear I died, it was Hillary Clinton, for sure. But if this was my last message, what would I want to preach? Because I feel like if you're not careful as a preacher, you get in this mode. Like you're just going to be preaching. You're just going to be praying messages because it's like you're pacing yourself. But I'm going to do this one like, and I only get to see you once a month. So I'm going to give you one today that if I could sit you down and tell you something that would make you come out of here and break the devil's job for the rest of your life, this is it out of the Bible.

2:09Joshua chapter 1 verses 2 through 9. You can do NLT and then I'm going to do King James verses 8 and 9. Joshua 1 too. And therefore the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land that I'm giving them. I promise you what I promise Moses, wherever you set your foot, you'll be on land that I've given to you, which is the concept that where you go, that atmosphere doesn't take you over, you take over that atmosphere. Adalus went by herself to the violent offender unit at the men's prison in Pittsburgh. And when she was done, 31 of them gave their lives to Jesus Christ over the course of two weeks. She didn't start becoming more violent when she came home. If you're not careful, you can get around some ministries. It's like they fall into two groups. One group ignores that the devil even exists. Then the other group is so afraid of the devil. I mean, we pick up things and there's spirits when we go to the salon, there's spirits there that get honest that we don't even know.

3:10I don't know what week Jesus lives in you, but it's not Jesus Christ. Where your feet tread, that place doesn't take you over, you begin to take over that place. Can you say amen? Keep going. I promise, from the net, then it tells you the boundaries of the land, the physical land verse 5. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. Look at that. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. That's where we get that line that you hear us preach. Never mistake a challenge for a defeat. God didn't say now that you serve me. Nobody's ever going to try to mess with you. He said, I understand people are going to try to tell you, can't make it. They're going to sue you. They're going to do whatever they're going to do. They'll never fail. Oppression will be far from you, the Bible says. I'll conquer your foes up in the Psalms. I'll beat down your foes before your face. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will never fail you. And I'll never abandon you. Six.

4:10Be strong and courageous. I'm not going to have you shout stuff out on morning, but I want you to say, be strong and courageous. So according to the Bible, if you're going to walk in victory, there's a posture, a literal physical posture, that you have to walk in or it won't work. Be strong and courageous. You can't, I just, can you pray for me this week? As long as you stand like that, everybody could pray for you. Nothing's going to work. There has to be a confidence that's in you that greater is he that lives in me than he that's in the world. And it's reflected in how people look at you. For the one, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land. I swear to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Don't deviate from turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will keep that up. Then you will be successful in how many things you do. I mean, oh God never promised success. He promised faithfulness.

5:10No. He told you, if you do what I tell you to do, you'll always be the head. You'll never be the tail. You'll always be on top and you'll never be at the bottom. I'm telling you from the Word of God today, the last battle that you ever lost will be the last battle. You'll never be the last battle you ever lose. That's not wishful thinking. That's not a positive outlook. That's the Word of God. Can you say amen? When I grew up, they taught us a thing which is good. B-I-B-L-E, Bible. Basic instructions before leaving earth. In other words, if you follow that book, it's a road map to get you from here to heaven. That's true. But you're only telling people half of it. Because on your way to heaven, God gave you power to conquer in this life. When you drive by Methodist churches, and I don't think John Westwood would be welcome to preach in his own churches anymore. But you're looking at churches that a man on horseback started 800 of them before he left the earth. He didn't just get saved and start living holy and he made heaven and he was saved from a wicked world.

6:13He left an imprint on Texas, on places he never even traveled by the people he impacted and the churches that he built. Never get an escapist Christianity out of the Bible. We are going to get out of this earth one day. But when we do, when the rapture happens, it's not going to be me wiping my brow saying glad I made it. It's going to be the devil saying, I'm glad those people are gone. Everything that I wanted to do, they were thwarting me at every stop. Think of this with me. In the old covenant, Daniel in Babylon, which anybody that knows anything about, if you do get around those people that are in love with the devil that are charismatic, and I'm charismatic, but I'm not in love with the devil that study the devil and tell you all the different spirits, they'll tell you that every satanic and occultic group traces their roots back to Babylon. The Bible says, oh Babylon, home of buzzards, den of every unclean spirit. And Daniel as an old man was one of the only people that believed God there,

7:13and all of the top witches and warlocks and magicians told the king, if you don't get that old guy to quit praying, nothing we're doing will work. Well, we don't have one person here that's praying. We have a hundred million believers in the United States of America that are getting stronger and stronger. That's why the United Nations is getting ready to clear out of this country. That globally spirit is getting knocked down and the spirit of God is being raised up among this generation and we're right on the front lines of it today in Jesus' name. I'll give you success and everything you do. It would say, I will be successful in everything I do. I mean, you can't win them all. That's not in the Bible. The Bible is, you will be successful. In fact, think of this. If Joshua was a modern Christian and he lost the battle of AI after they won six straight chapters of battles, he would've just said, well, make sense.

8:13You know, we've been on a six chapter winning streak. You're not going to win them all. But when they lost the AI, he got on his face and repented. What's the problem, God? So Joshua, because of this, had an expectation that we don't lose and God told him there's sin. I gave you specific instructions. Don't take any equipment. Don't take any clothing. From Jericho, Burnett. And you've got a man in your camp that disobeyed me and you lost the victory. The old covenant believers, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, they expected victory. They got on their face before God if they lost and asked what the problem is. Christians in a new covenant with better promises and a better covenant, expect defeat. How many of the devil's going to be out there on Monday? Who cares what the devil's doing? I've got something from the Bible. I've got something from heaven. I have something from the Holy Ghost that gives me effortless triumph in life. If you receive that, go ahead and do what you're already doing. Clap your hands to the Lord. Give them a mighty shout.

9:15Verse 8, you can go to King James for eight and nine. Study this book of instruction continually. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth. Those people teach on confession. You're darn right we do. Because the Bible says this will not work. You don't just read it and store it and Instagram pictures of it. You have to put it in your heart and never let it depart from your mouth. If a victory has a posture, say victory has a vocabulary. You can't win talking to feet. You know, I learned more of that playing sports. I know I know I look athletic, but I can run super fast if big people are chasing me. I find like a second gear. In fact, I broke a 60 yard run in high school. And when we examined tape on Monday, you could hear me from the press box screaming as I ran. I ran on straight fear because those guys were so huge and I was so little.

10:16You know, I learned more about positive confession and victory confession in sports than I did in church. Because if you talk like people talking church in the locker room, your coach would tell you to shut up. If I said a coach before we go out, can I just say something? Sure. Now listen, how many know we can do everything coach said, but we still may lose. Things might not work out. Things aren't big enough to block these people they're telling us to block that. Your own teammates would tell you to shut up. But in church, nobody tells you to shut up. I don't know why people enjoyed defeat talk, but I never did. I never enjoyed hearing about how it's great out in the world. And you can have fun out there and there's women and money and fame. But if you serve the Lord, it's a hard road. His yoke is easy. And his burden is like, God Himself said in Deuteronomy chapter 30,

11:16today I said before you, life my way, death, blessing my way or curses, prosperity or disaster. Oh, if I had my way, oh that you would choose life that you and your descendants might live. Jesus didn't come to make life harder. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that you might have. And now listen, he could have said that a few ways. He could have said, I have come that you might not be stolen from killed and destroyed. That had been great. I have come that you'll survive till you make heaven. That would have been a plus. He could have just left it. I've come that you might have life. He didn't even leave it there. That came that you might have life. And one translation in all its fullness, overflowing life, abundant life. There's people that drove here today to get healed because they feel the abundant life here. I heard somebody drove from Canada with cancer to get prayed for and get healed.

12:17Because there's abundant life. There's not just enough healing for you. There's an overflow of healing that wherever the soul of your foot shall tread, you'll be on land. Everybody say life more abundantly. I think you heard me tell the story two times ago when I was here. That I got myself into a little bit of a jam not trying to. I felt the Lord speak to me to pass out gifts for Christmas from him in an area with high childhood poverty. We chose a section of Houston with high childhood poverty. We expected a crowd like was in Santa Ana to show up. And instead we had 10,300 people show up that were promised toys. Well, if you tell people in the inner city that they're going to get a toy and they come and you say you ran out, they're going to find you in a ditch missing your sneakers. You're going to die. I'm not exaggerating. It does not go well if you run out. And so Jeff Otis is in the front row. He called me and he said, how are you doing? I said good. And then I told him about that thing we're doing.

13:17I wasn't even thinking about it. That we didn't have enough toys or anything. And he said, do you have enough for everybody? I said, at the moment I don't, what are you going to do? I said, I didn't really thought of it. I was just upstairs watching television. It was close to Christmas and I was chilling. He said, let me make a couple calls. So he makes calls and gets back to me in less than a day. I got three groups that are going to donate toys. $1.2 million worth of toys and they're going to give them to you for $400,000. Then everybody said, keep getting better. Then he said, they found out what you're doing and they decided not to charge you $400,000 to give them for free. All you have to do is pay the truck drivers from the three different cities that are bringing them. That's like 18 grand, no problem. And then the truck drivers found out where they were bringing the toys that it was for that. And they decided to donate their time. $1.2 million worth of toys. I was going to be in a huge jam. Everybody got toys in Houston. And everyone said, else should die.

14:18The God of more than enough. Everybody got toys, nice toys. Go carts, all kinds of stuff. And then there was trucks left over. So we went to Santa Ana and had Christmas in January. And I watched after night three of giving everybody toys. We took two hours to load them back up into a truck for the next one. God didn't supply that need. God supplied so much that it's going to go from crusade to crusade to crusade. Because God didn't come so you could have life. He came so you could have life more abundantly. Can you say amen? So when Jonathan played for me, he specifically called out the blood. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder a couple of months ago. And I've had a lot of issues with that. When I came tonight, I wasn't expecting this at all. But he called it out. And I know it was the Lord. And I just, I know that it's healed. It's gone. It's done. It's over with. And the name of Jesus, he is my dealer, my God, my father. I love me. And thank you so much for doing this.

15:21Verse 8. This book of the last are not the part out of thy mouth. But thou shalt meditate there. And I'm not making myself a good example. But you know, if I didn't know what I'm preaching to you, then if I found out 10,000 people are coming and we have a thousand toys and it's going to be $1.2 million and I'm building the church in Pittsburgh, if I was a normal person, I'd have just said, well, then cancel it. Shut or at least shut down registrations because it's too many. But see, if you'll get a hold of this out of the Bible, you'll start having an expectation like oral Roberts would open his programs up with. Something good. Think of this. My grandfather used to mow the grass, crack a beer and sit down and watch oral Roberts. He never went to church, but he liked him because every other preacher on TV, I mean, oh, we smoke and drink. You might be having fun at those bars, but you're going to be burning where the worm die if not. That's all true. But it's not the badness of God that draws men to repentance. It's the goodness of God that draws men to repentance.

16:24Those 899 people that come forward to receive Jesus Christ, they say, look at you, single mothers. Can't even keep a home together. People here have never been to church. You're expecting blessing. You can't care more about toys than you do your soul. You don't got stabbed. And rightfully so. There was a street preacher in Seattle. I was going to the Mariners game in the afternoon before I preached at night. There was a street preacher. There's yelling about everybody about hell. This thing is going to get burned to the ground. Everything he said was true. But nobody got saved. And I saw the cop just looking at him. And I said to the police officer, I said, I'm a pastor. He said, oh, I said, if that preaching is annoying you and you want to hit him with your night stick, I'll testify in court that you were at my house that day. I don't, I didn't enjoy his preaching. Jesus, no one would have had more of a right to come yell at sinners than Jesus. But he didn't come from heaven and said, look at this place. My father gave you a garden and you've messed it all up. Shame on you.

17:24No. Come unto me. All you even are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Make my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lonely at heart. And you'll find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. I want to tell you if you screwed everything up in life today, you're only one pair away from God's power putting something in you that'll churn everything around. He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. This book of the last shall not depart out of that mouth. You got to speak it. And meditate on it day and night. You got to think it. If you battle depression, I promise you, your television does not have YouTube on playing me, or Brother Hagen, or Jerry Savalle. Sure isn't playing Jesse DuPlanis. Jesse DuPlanis, so funny if the spirit of the pression would start laughing reluctantly.

18:25What you think about and what you speak is what produces your life. I'm Pentecostal to the back teeth. I'm charismatic to my spine. Life is not a product of seasons or God sovereignly doing things. Life is a product of seed time and harvest. Your thoughts or seeds, your words or seeds, your actions or seeds. Today you made a decision to not sit home and sew under your flesh and get ready for the Super Bowl. You made a decision to plant yourself in the house of God that has a consequence. They go from strength to strength those that are in Mount Zion. 1-8. Book of the last and not depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night. That thou mayest observe and do according to all that is written therein. You got millions of Christians home today, because they're getting ready for the Super Bowl. What do you play left tackle?

19:25How long does it take to pour ranch and a ball and dice carrots or whatever contraption you're serving? That thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous. That's a prosperity church. You know, Camilla came home from Christian schools. She said, one of my teachers told me you go to that church. She didn't know that the dad's the, I'm the dad that's the pastor. He said in your Christian school, they get, they have to deal with more crap than they would at public school. You go to that church where all they want is your money. I said, tell your teacher that lets her off the hook then, because she doesn't have any. Don't talk to my daughter like that. We don't want money, we have money. We had a paid for church before day one on Sunday. We're not going to the inner city to take toys. We went to the inner city to give toys away. If you're going to try to make me ashamed, you can't get me to be ashamed of righteousness. You can't get me to be ashamed of peace. You can't get me to be ashamed of joy. You can't get me to be ashamed of healing. And you sure can't get me to be ashamed

20:26that God has made my way prosperous. I prophesied in the name of Jesus, the richest people in Pittsburgh, the richest people in the DFW Metroplex are sitting in this room and you're going to find out about it today. In Jesus' name. Yeah, next time that school writes me asking for a donation right back, I don't believe in prosperity. They'll shalt meditate there in day and night that they'll be as observed to do, according to all that is written therein. For them shalt thou make thy way prosperous. Then thou shalt have good success. Hallelujah. Have I not commanded thee? Be strong as the third freaking time, which lets you know that people have a problem being strong in courageous. What do you do when you don't know what to do? Start by straightening up your spine,

21:27changing out of your pajama pants when it's 4 p.m. Shower, go to the barber, and put at least look like you're a child of God. Be strong. It must be strong. Be of a good courage. See, I've said too much. I refuse to ever, and I'm not a tough guy. I can't fight. I have little arms. That's what sport coats are for. They're going to hide your pathetic body. I was in Denver, Colorado, and Denver is like Seattle. There's just like demon-possessed... I know it's... I sound nuts. Full out demon-possessed people on the street. And you can ask my wife. She was with me. You can ask Olivia, her assistant. I'm walking, minding my own business. This guy gets up, full of the devil, and it's happened to me all the time. You don't have to go to India to deal with demon-possessed people. You can go to aisle 3 at Walmart at 1 in the morning.

22:29Goes right over to me, starts yelling. You know, stuff that doesn't make any sense. I'm like Charles Manson with a speaker phone. I'm not going to duck my head. You know, let's walk, you know, these guys. Yeah, great that you're on meth. You got meth, I got the Holy Ghost. Don't talk to me disrespectfully. I'm sorry about your childhood trauma. I'm not dealing with it. So he's talking, and I went to my favorite thing that I like to do in demon-possessed people start doing that. He has Chris Farley's line from the movie Dirty Work. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You should see what people look like when they're shocked. That you're not afraid, and you don't care about what they're saying. He has Pastor Abraham and Pastor Russell Johnson. I picked him up in Louisville, Kentucky. We went to a white castle cheeseburger place last fall, which was a mistake. But I was hungry. Guy walks off the street, starts yelling at all the customers. Everybody ducks their head. I'm tired of watching videos in this country

23:29that everybody ducks their head. People get assaulted, everybody turns. It's time for people to be strong and courageous. Before you do anything, make sure the cameras are unplugged, but do something. Your pastor will tell them you were at his house that night. Guy walks in and starts yelling at everybody. All the customers ducking their head. I said, hey, I'm trying to eat shut up. He was shocked. Then he came over and wanted to test me more. And I kept looking him in the eye and telling him, you better shut up. And I'm telling you, where's Abraham? You could tell he started to realize he might be in trouble. He wasn't in trouble in the natural. But why is this white guy dressed like this with a black guy in a three-piece suit at one in the morning? Pastor Usher was nervously eating. It looked like two heroin dealers and they're client.

24:30And as he kept looking at us, nothing made sense. So he's like, yeah, and then he's like, all right, I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry. And apologized. And I said, now leave. Ask Abraham. I said, I forgive you. Now leave the building. He shook his head, yes, and left the building. I wasn't going to do anything. I don't carry a gun. But I look like I'm carrying a gun. Oh, you're back. Welcome back. I thought you switched to Decaf for the last two weeks. You're going to have victory this year. Because I'm going to tell you, if you were here during the snowstormer, you watch my line, I told you there's a correlation. Don't tell me that you're going to overcome real storms in life and close your church for snow. The Mavericks didn't. The place was packed. Dallas Cowboys have never rescheduled for a storm in their history, including Christmas Eve, year 2000, with a massive blizzard. The physical things parallel with the spiritual things.

25:30And you can't take lip from devils and then cast out devils and heal the sick. The same ferocity that I deal with cancer, like praying for misdaina that I always put on that picture. Same in, if you mouth off, I'm not going to sit there and take it. Honey, let's go. He's crazy. Not as crazy as I am. I dress like this to fool people. But if you could see me in the spirit, I'm bare-chested with pain on my face. And to belt some bullets, I'm not taking crap from the devil. And I'm telling you, you're not taking crap from the devil. Your children are going to serve the Lord. Your marriage is going to be whole. You're going to go from glory to glory, victory to victory, and strength to strength. Somebody shout, Hallelujah. Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid. Neither be it how this made.

26:30No one say I refuse to fear. Anything. You think hope is going to be the last disease that you do what the Bible says, there'll be plagues. And you learn during the ice storm, they're all going to shut down again. No pastor has learned one lesson from what happened. I told you when this happened, you don't have to come to church. But the church, this church, a Revival Today Church Texas, Revival Today Church Pittsburgh will be open until the rapture of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. If there's a mushroom cloud in the distance, I'll be in a hazmat suit with my notes in Bible, walking to preach. The devil doesn't determine our steps. Disease doesn't determine our steps. Storms don't determine our steps. The word determines our steps. And once God tells you where you're going, refuse to go to the left, refuse to go to the right, refuse to back up, make up your mind. I'm going to the other side and good luck to any devil that's trying to stop me. If you believe it, can you shout amen like thunder?

27:31Hallelujah. Be strong and have a good courage. Be not afraid. Neither be thou dismayed for the Lord thy God. He is with thee, wherever, wither, so ever. Anywhere you go. Denver, Seattle, India, Africa. He's with you wherever you go. And one thing you're going to read in the Bible is God has zero respect for enemies. He sent one angel to kill 185,000 malacites in one night. Not Michael, just like Gary, the angel. The angel.
