This is your entertainment update for March 8th. John Tesch calls it a miracle that he's still here today. Back in 2015, doctors diagnosed him with a rare form of cancer and gave him just 18 months to live. He's been battling it ever since, and while it's still under treatment, he's holding strong. The cancer is a metastatic type of prostate cancer. It's never fully in remission, but stays stable through a back-and-forth approach with meds they call, pulsing. Tesch says it took time to get used to living with it day-to-day. He gives huge credit to his medical team at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for keeping him going. His wife Connie Seleka, married to him for 34 years, has been his biggest advocate through it all. Faith plays a key role too, with Bible verses on healing that he even had tattooed on his arm. Meanwhile, Tesch left TV hosting in 1996 to focus on music, and he's still at it. He just performed his classic NBA theme, Round Ball Rock, at the All-Star Game. These days, he also hosts a radio show called Intelligence for Your Life,

airing on 350 stations nationwide. Thanks to our sponsor for helping bring you this episode. Do not just listen to podcasts, get lost in them comfortably, s-o-l-i-soli-pillow.com
