Joanna Lau - JEMMA Bags

About this episode

The Goldman Sachs executive-turned-designer, Joanna Lau, established her handbag line in January 2016 after experiencing first-hand a void in women’s workwear – men had suitcases, whereas women’s purses didn’t support their leadership roles, and so was born JEMMA. Designed to be highly functional with its unique organizational system and to keep up with the modern-day working woman, JEMMA still brings back the old-world elegance and glamour with its refined styles. JEMMA was founded with my work life in mind. The objective is to design handbags specifically for the modern day working woman who appreciates classic elegance and sensibility, while leading the way for her to connect with like-minded women through a brand community, we like to call #JEMMAGirls. http://www.jemmabag.com/
