Author Mal Jay Hyman has taught for 40 years in public schools, a medium security men's prison, and at Coker University in Hartsville, SC, as a professor of sociology and political science. Mal has done human rights work in eight countries, monitored two foreign elections with the UN, and was a Democratic candidate for the US Congress from SC's 7th District.
