Homicide detectives took over the case early the next year and police offered a $500,000 reward for tips, but she's never been. Located and no charges have resulted. Now an inquest into her presumed death is unfolding in New South Wales coroner's court. Earlier this week, the hearing reviewed footage of her final hours. Dressed in an orange crop top in black leggings, she entered a pub car park around 10.02 pm on November 28, and met Paul Jones, a man. In his early 40s, she didn't know. They left together in his blue holding Commodore, stopping at a service station for fuel, cigarettes, and soft drinks. The next morning, just before 9am, cameras caught the car at another station on the Great Western Highway in Mount Victoria, with someone in an an orange top in the passenger seat.

Meanwhile, two days later, Jones had his car detailed at a wash for $90, but staff found nothing suspicious like blood. Police seized the vehicle from his caravan park, yet tests turned up no clues of interest. He later withdrew $9,000 in cash and headed to Bunbury in Western Australia. Her parents attended the inquest while her grandmother couldn't do to injury and officials noted the profound toll on the family.
