I'm Cory, and this is your Pulse of the City, Adelaide News today. Jessica is the now-re reporter for ABC of the Wara, bringing a unique mix of skills to her role. With nearly a decade as a volunteer lifesaver and professional lifeguard under her belt, she graduated from the University of Wollongong in 20. 13. With degrees in both law and journalism, after university, she worked briefly as a lawyer and traveled extensively through Africa, the United Kingdom, and Europe. She then jumped into journalism with a cadetship at the Milton Ula-Dula Times newspaper. Jessica chases stories anywhere along the South Coast and stays prepared with a spare microphone tucked in her handbag right next to her emergency. Stash of strawberry liquorice. In her spare time, she keeps volunteering as a surf lifesaver at its lighthouse magazine and loves exploring the world. Most weekends find her surfing in summer or snowboarding in winter. Her passion for coastal life and adventure clearly fuels her reporting, making her a

go-to voice for local stories. Thanks to our sponsor for supporting today's coverage, a pillow that plays your podcasts, music, or white noise privately, no ear buds required, SOLI, solelypillo.com.
