And I asked you, which city dies it's River Green to celebrate? Well, yeah, and I think it must be a city in Ireland, so the biggest city in Ireland's Dublin, so I'm going to say Dublin. Great guest, Tim, but no, it's not Dublin, it's actually the city of Chicago, which is all the way in America. It's Chicago that dies it's River Green on St. Patrick's Day. Wow! I bet it's amazing, isn't it? Yeah, totally amazing. And they've been doing it for more than 60 years. They use this special eco-friendly dye that turns the water in emerald green. Ah, that must look really brilliant. And I'm glad that it's an eco-friendly dye, you wouldn't want to

2:03just tip paint into the river, would you? No, no, definitely, it's an eco-friendly dye, and they have a big parade that's walking past, so it all sort of adds to this amazing St. Patrick's Irish celebration and amazing atmosphere. Wow, that sounds cool, I'd like to go there one day. Me too. Oh, Sam, was that the sound of bubbling bubbles? I think we know what that means, don't we listeners? That's right, me that it must be time for the big bubbling bucket of challenges. Oh yes, our big bubbling bucket of challenges is full of games, there's fact stories and surprises. And every day it sets us new challenges, doesn't it? Oh yeah. As I just happen to be standing closest to the bubbling bucket today, Samy, how do you feel about me diving into find today's challenges? Oh yeah, that sounds like a brilliant idea to me too. Good, okay then, into my best bucket diving pose I go. Okay, this one's called

3:06Falling Tim. Okay, you ready? What? Why? Because I just lean forward and I go. Oh yes, Hey Sam, the bucket is full of hundreds of wind up chicks jumping everywhere. What? Yeah, and there's some huge ice lollies with tree trunks to sticks. Wow, and over here is a jellyfish made of what looks like strawberry jelly. I might just taste it and see, hmm, oh yeah, it is strawberry jelly. Cool. And there's something underneath it which is now also covered in jelly. I think it might be, yes it is. It's today's first challenge. Right, I'm on my way back now, Samy, hang on. Okay, hurry up I'm excited. Okay. What have you got for us today? Well, here it is, Sam, today's first challenge or sticky with jelly. And it is true or false? Yes, I love this one.

4:15True or false is one of those challenges where we learn the kind of fabulous facts that make us feel very, very clever. Yeah, it is. So true or false works like this. In a minute, Sam's going to tell me three different things, then me, I and you, the listeners, have to work out which two of those things are true and which one is false. Okay, Tim, everyone, I hope you've got your extremely clever detective heads on. Clever detective head on and ready to go, Samy. Good, okay. In today's true or false, we're going to find out about an usual festivals in the month of March. So, get ready for three amazingly unusual March festivals and you need to work out which one of these things is in fact false. Here we go. Today's first March festival is in India every March there's a festival called Holy where people celebrate by throwing brightly coloured powder paint and

5:20water each other. Oh wow. That sounds like a cool festival. Well, they just throw powder paint to each other. Yep. Okay, well, I don't want to make a guess yet without who the second and third ones. Okay, today's second March festival is White Day which is celebrated in some Asian countries and it's a festival where men who received Valentine's Day presents from women give those presents back a month later and these presents have to be white like white chocolate or white clothes. Oh, yeah, I've never heard of that one. Would you have never heard of Holy Festival either? So, but that does sound like quite a good festival. It's certainly like to receive some new clothes and chocolate. Yeah, everyone would I think. Okay, today's third March festival is in Mexico during the festival of bones. People dress up as brightly coloured

6:26skeletons and walk through the streets throwing sweets to the people who come out to watch. Wow, okay. Now, I do know in Mexico there's a festival called Day of the Dead where they dress up as bones, but I don't know if that's during March. What do you think listeners? Which one of these marvelous March festivals is false and which ones are true because you know what, I'm really not sure. How about I give everyone a home 10 seconds to shout out their guesses to him so they can help you decide. That's a great idea, Sammy. Thank you. Okay, let's recap our March Festival shall we? Number one, there's a Holy Festival in India where people throw coloured, powered a paint and water over each other. Sam, I'm going to say that Festival number three, the Festival of Bones in Mexico, I think that one's false. Interesting you should say that, Tim, because you're right. Festival number three, the Festival of Bones is false, but as you say on the 2nd of November there is something called Day of the Dead. You mentioned that didn't you, Tim, where people celebrate members of their family who've died by having lots of amazing food and painting their faces to look like schools. Wow, okay, so I've got that right then. Yes! Yeah, absolutely well done, Tim. So that means the other two festivals are true. Exactly, so starting with the first one, Holy Festival, people who follow a religion called Hinduism Tim,

8:31they really do throw coloured, powered a paint and water over each other to celebrate the Holy Festival in March. How cool is that? That's super cool and I bet it's really colourful to be a part of as well. So colourful, it looks absolutely amazing. And Festival number two, also true, because in Asian countries like Japan and South Korea, men really do give white presents to women who have bought them presents for Valentine's Day a month before. Wow, that is so nice. Isn't it? It's so fun. I love festivals and traditions like this. It's so interesting. It really is. Yeah, I love hearing about loads of different traditions from all over the world. It's really interesting. Right, you know what though? It's time for me to get back into that bucket and find today's challenge number two. So get ready bucket because here I come! Hey Sam, I'm trying not to step on any of these wine of chicks while I reach out for this

9:33huge lolly over here because, yeah, there is something stuck to it. People give it a good yes. It's today's second challenge. I'm great. Right, I'm going to come back up, but first I'm going to have a... Oh yeah, it's probably lolly. Okay, my more way back, Sammy. Hang on a second. Okay, here I am, back in the room and today's second challenge is, what's that racket? Okay, everyone, in this challenge the bucket is going to play us some random sounds and then we have to guess what they are and then at the end we'll see how we did. Oh, I feel like I'm at the seaside. Me too. You know what Sam, I used to live in a place called

10:37Hove which is right by the sea and we used to have seagulls that nested on the roof of our house. So that noise takes me back to living in my house in Hove because, yeah, unmistakably that is the sound of seagulls. I think you're right. It sounds exactly like seagulls so that's got to be right. Isn't it bucket? Is that seagulls? Yay! Easy, one out of one. Nice easy start. Okay, let's have the second sound then please bucket. Ooh, I might need that one again. Sounds very heavy. Yes, it's something falling over or jumping on something maybe. It's really super quick one. Can we have it a couple more times bucket? Is it, is it someone jumping on a trampoline? It sounds a little bit like it's springy but it sounds metaly clangly but it sounds really heavy.

11:40Almost like a bag of nails being dropped on the floor or I don't know what you mean about a trampoline. But then if it was nails would be more rattly. Is it somebody bouncing on a bed maybe? Could be someone jumping on a bed like the springs because I was thinking mattress and I was thinking is it someone dropping a mattress? Maybe it's more jumpy than that. Can we just hear it? I know we've heard it a few times but can we hear it one more time bucket? Could be the sound of a nail gun. I mean I'm really lost there's so many it could be it's almost too quick this I think the bucket is being really tricky with us here do you? This is a tough one yeah. I think it does sound like jumping or something Tim. And the thing about the mattress is I don't think it would make that much noise. You said it sounded metaly and springy and that's kind of trampolini. Yeah I know what you mean so I think we guessed trampoline. I mean Sammy I think you've got this this is your one. No we can share it. Me, you and all the listeners should we guess trampoline?

12:41Yeah let's guess trampoline because I'm a bit stuck really. It's a it's a kind of tough one bucket is it somebody jumping on a trampoline? Oh no way yes we got it well done everyone. That was super cool. I would not thought that was a trampoline. I know right. Can we have another listen bucket please now we know it's a trampoline because sometimes that helps to visualize it a bit better. Yeah okay yeah I suppose that makes sense okay two out of two. Okay can we make it three out of three bucket please may we have our third and final what's that racket? I know what that is. I have a suspicion of what it might be but I think I could be wrong. To me to be honest Tim it sounds like somebody running on the ice in ice skates.

13:43I was literally about to say exactly the same thing. It sounds like somebody ice skating that's sprinting along really fast but I expected more of a at the end like a stop did you and we didn't really get that noise. It's a bit like speed skating that's a sport isn't it when people do ice skating really quick. Yeah yeah that's right. Could it be that specific? I do think we're right Sam I think that's ice skating. Bucket is that someone ice skating pretty quickly. Fantastic. I can't believe we were thinking the same thing Tim. I know that's super cool.
