Jedrick Wills Junior Visits Lions, Explores Free Agency

Former Cleveland Browns offensive tackle, Jetric Will's Jr. visited the Detroit Lions on Thursday as he explores free agency options. The 2021 first round pick, selected 10th overall, brings solid starting experience from his early NFL days. Will started 45 games at left tackle over his first three seasons in Cleveland. He impressed enough as a pass blocker for the Browns to pick up his fifth year option, heading into 2024. Injuries derailed his career though, starting with an MCL tier midway through 2023. He appeared in just eight games that year, five in 2024, and set out the entire 2025 season to recover. Lions' offensive coordinator Drew Petson coached Will's during their overlapping time in Cleveland from 2020 to 2022. Will's also met with the New England Patriots recently.
