Their 12-year marriage had been toxic and volatile, marked by his heavy drinking and constant fights, leading to a split last summer. McKelle was starting fresh, booking that trip to Marmaris with her mom, falling for a guy from Glasgow and texting him hard emojis right before Shaw. Showed up, passes by and relatives rushed to help as she collapsed on the pavement, but Shaw just lit a cigarette, sat in the garden, and later told cops. Casually, that's what you get when she's messing around. He even asked how many years he'd get, guessing 10, and admitted he'd snapped in the moment.

1:03In Liverpool Crown Court, prosecutors proved it was no accident. He grabbed the knife inside, fueled by resentment over her moving on. The judge rejected any remorse, calling his attitude, callus. Shaw got life with a minimum of 15 years before parole. Michelle's mom said her daughter was finally free and happy, turning her life around, only for it all to be stolen, leaving a family heartbroken but, hoping for some closure now.
