Jay-Z's Anniversary Shows at Yankee Stadium

0:00On March 19th, Jay-Z is set to perform two huge shows at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx this summer. On July 10th, he'll celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. The next night, July 11th, honors the 25th anniversary of the Blueprint. These back-to-back nights mark a big return for the rap icon in New York City. Reasonable Doubt dropped in 1996 and put Jay-Z on the map as a key player in East Coast hip-hop. The Blueprint followed in 2001, boosting his status even higher with production from a Venn-up and coming Kanye West. Both albums packed hits that fans still love today. After keeping a low profile on state for years, Jay-Z has popped up in a few spots lately. He joined Beyoncé on her cowboy carter tour in Paris last year, performed at Tom Brady's Hall of Fame event in 2024 and hit the Grammys. In 2023, his last full solo tour was back in 2017. Now there's more on the way. Organizers just revealed Jay-Z will headline the Roots picnic on May 30th, 2026, at Philadelphia's Belmont Plateau.
