Dr. Rolando D. Aguirre is the Associate Pastor of Teaching and Spanish Language Ministries at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, where his life and work are devoted to Christ and the advancement of His kingdom. Known for his deep passion for discipleship, teaching, preaching, leadership development, missions, and community service, Dr. Aguirre brings a rich ministerial background to his role. Originally from Colombia, he has served in church planting, youth ministry, social work, missions coordination, outreach, and leadership development across Texas and Latin America. He is the visionary founder of Calvary en Español at Calvary Baptist Church in McAllen, Texas, a ministry making a profound impact along the Texas-Mexico border.

A respected leader, Dr. Aguirre served as First Vice President of the Convención Bautista Hispana de Texas (CBHT) from 2014 to 2016 and as President from 2017 to 2019, representing and guiding over 1,100 Hispanic churches across Texas. He is the creator and host of Descifrando Enigmas ("Decoding Enigmas") on Televisa and Un Tiempo de Esperanza ("A Time of Hope") on Channel 5.2, two impactful television programs that reached audiences along the Rio Grande Valley and the Mexican border. Currently, his weekly sermons are featured on Telemundo 39 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, furthering his reach in the Spanish-speaking community. Dr. Aguirre also founded and authored Un Minuto con Dios ("A Minute with God"), a daily devotional podcast and book that is widely cherished among Spanish speakers for its inspiring, accessible messages. He frequently writes and speaks for magazines, church networks, and nonprofit organizations and serves on various boards, where he dedicates his time to cultivating leaders, individuals, and organizations.

Since joining Park Cities, Dr. Aguirre has overseen the launch of two Spanish-language satellite services in Dallas. These include one in the multicultural Vickery Meadow area and another in partnership with the Buckner Family Hope Center in the Bachman Lake community.

Dr. Aguirre is a lifelong learner with a commitment to theological and pastoral education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Baptist University of the Américas in San Antonio, Texas, a dual Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and Human Relations from Liberty University in Virginia, and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University in Dallas. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Applied Theology at Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.
