Jamal Murray's Ankle Injury: Nuggets' All-Star Guard Out

0:00With the NBA today, March 7th, Jamal Murray, the Denver Nuggets All-Star Guard, left their game against the New York Knicks with a left-angle injury right before halftime on Friday, night. The Nuggets fell hard in a 142-1-3 loss. Also, the injury happened when Murray took contact from Knicks forward, OG-O-O-O-O-B in the lane, and stepped back on to teammate Nicola Jokic's foot. He went down in pain with one minute and five seconds left in the half, and got helped to the locker room. He didn't come back. Nuggets coach David Adelman, called Murray, really sore after the game. He said the team would check it with imaging on Saturday and wasn't sure about a timeline yet. Adelman noted Murray usually bounces back quick from ankle sprains. This marks Murray's first All-Star nod in his nine-year career. The Nuggets finally had their original starting five together for the first time since November 12th.
