Oh my god, turn it up. What an insane game. Oh my god. Sing Bob, boom, boom. Everybody, welcome to the winners, man. Let's go! Presented five, the three six five. Downloaded about three six five. I've used the code DNVR365. It's positive 10 dollars. Play about $5, get 200 bonus bets. We're also in the Toyota winners lounge. Driven by your front range Toyota stores. Toyota. We love DNVR. Nuggets get their fourth win in a row. We're streaking, baby. We're so streaking. Thank god. 142 to 135. And this one had all the numbers. 23, 21, 19 for Yoke. 53 for Jamal Murray. Peter Butter and Jelly in excess tonight at ball arena. Here's some wins with us. I think on playoff, ready? After all these backs and backs, and especially this last one, I think Nikola Yoke and Jamal Murray are playoff ready too. On the offensive end, they are definitely. Oh, I meant me.
Obviously. Yeah. D-Lanko's ready. Bros? I'm ready. I'm ready. Where's so back? What are we talking about? Are we not so back? Let's go. We'll find out. We'll find out. I don't know. We're back. All right. And then rounding out the show, of course. Superstar Dev. Who would have expected that to be a fun one? Oh, it was so fun. It was playing all of my favorite hits in that one. There were a lot of hits in this one, man. Okay, I'm coming. Nuggets defense, not one of those hits, but you know what? When you don't play any defense, you lend yourself to some great offense. It really opens the game around. They always say that. It really opens the door to a great offense to carry through. It almost becomes a necessity. Dude, 142, 135. It's a disgusting night. It's not first time. I wonder where you had to shoot out the O.K. for our offense. Yeah. 142 O.K. 142. 135. Man, that is insane score. It must have gone to multiple over times. I mean, there's no way. It almost had a munder tonight in the third quarter. Right. It was split.
It was split. We have to adjust our munder. We can laugh about it now. Because you know what? You know what we're done with, boys? Uh, losing. Back to back. Back to back. That work. Oh, my God. We will never have a back to back again this season. Oh, my God. They're done, baby. Well, we don't know. They're going to be a cancellation. Yeah. I would not close the door on another back to back. Just leave. I feel like we're going to find a way to get another. Uh, let's go to a fast breakdown. We live this one and all this glory again. We first note told the story tonight. Really? Jamal Murray, quick ten points. There we go. That was that's the story for sure. There we go. He is, and then my second note is, he is on fire. So my first note was ten points. My second one is he on fire. And then it says saucy buckets. Damn, dude. He's KFC or Jamal Murray. It's so true. Uh, you love KFC. I really do. I really love a lot. No. You would think that whatever. Whatever. I don't even know, like, the good second place. Well, that's what you say. That's what you say. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to trust Devon Murray.
Uh, Matt's hitting lots of threes. 34, 33 nuggets. No, it's, it felt their offense was so incredible. That first quarter really was the story. Because we're like, how are they only up one? I feel like they're scoring every time. They were. They were. They just were giving up buckets every time. Uh, second quarter. No Jamal to start. Adam and Road, the hot hand tonight. And so, and it threw off rotations. Kind of a story to be honest with you. Uh, so that means Peyton Watson is the first option with that second unit. It was interesting. Lots of ISOs. That second unit was different than we've seen on us. We're going to talk about it today, but it was different. It felt like whoever had the ball just got to ISO. Yep. Just do five man out. Five out. No big. Just try to cook. And it was kind of interesting. Kind of fun to be honest. Uh, Cam Johnson shooting in rhythm, playing in rhythm in that second quarter, just getting his shots up quick. I love to see it. And then another Murray Flurry. And a bunch of heat checks. That second quarter was of all time, or man. He had like three heat checks in a row. Did you know a game is going well with every one of your shots has a name. Is it? It's not just a shit shot. It's a heat check. It's like he had, he was dribbling up the court in the second quarter and looked at the crowd and started talking like, you guys want to see something cool?
I'm telling you. He was talking during the game. This was a low leverage game, but like we really did get a Jamal Murray. Like we're ready for this moment. Yeah. Kind of dead. Uh, 68, 59 nuggets going into the half. Third quarter. Spencer Jones. Very hard foul on Dwight Powell. Powell Furious. Very hard fouls on everybody. Yeah. That was a storyline. That was kind of, it kind of was the honest with you. Seriously. Because the maps got in the bonus with eight minutes and 30 seconds to go and Spencer Jones picked up his fourth at that, at that same time. Uh, insane missed call on Yokeuch though the other way. And then they called this petty foul on him. Double foul to be honest. He got fouled, picks up the ball, gets fouled again. And then he starts yelling at the refs and they called a foul on him just as like a show of force. Very strange. I was a little worried at that point that the game was going to go sideways. Maps cut it to four, but they're back to back threes that pushed it to 10. Christian Brown. Jamal Murray. Then maps cut it to one. Nuggets kept extending it, giving it up, extending it, giving it up. Cut it to one. Then another Nuggets run at the end of the quarter. One of my favorite plays of the year. Yoke orchestrates.
He says, uh, Bruce, you go to this corner. Tim, you go to that corner. Why? Because I'm about to throw a behind the back pass to a wide open P watt. Beautiful play, man. Highlight 111 100 Nuggets going into the fourth fourth quarter. Murray cooking again. All these notes are good about the nuggets. How is it close? Murray cooking again. But the nuggets kept allowing Dallas to hang around. And then a weird thing happened late in this game. Murray had been playing a lot of minutes because he was on fire. He has 48 points in the game. It's kind of over. So you just ride it out. Like, let's just put this game away and let him get his 50. And then we'll sub guys in. But did the maps went on an 11 o' run? Goddamn. And next thing you know, Jamal Murray's up to 40 minutes. He's kind of exhausted and the game is in the balance. Yoke picked up his fifth foul with four minutes to go. I'm sitting here going. You got to be kidding me. This is going to happen. The play that that's kind of saved the day. Easy to forget. Nuggets up I think four, but they're losing it. And Pihuat hits a huge three in the corner that kind of felt like a settle it down. We needed it. Nuggets ended up just kind of pulling this one out in the end. I mean, it wasn't pretty, but they ended up holding on to the seven point lead.
And they get to win 142 to 135. Let's go to Red Hawk roofing big takeaways. Super star dev. Do us the honors. My Red Hawk roofing big takeaway in this one is when you look at the Yoke stats from this year, it really does shock you. And I know there's been conversation about him and MVP. But the real, real, real thing that I cannot understand is how we're not having more conversations about how Maul NBA. Oh, Zigg done us there. I really don't understand how we're not getting that. He should be talked about more. He should be leading the charge about conversation about some of the most improved basketball that we've seen. But he's putting up an incredible year. He's averaging 25 points on the year, seven assists, which are both highs. But he's coming off of these type of games that everyone should be discussing 53 points on the second night of a back to back. He was exhausted. Hell yeah. And we talk about their on the road and how much they're having to play these back-to-backs
and how exhausted that is. And there's one guy that's, he's been the guy that's had to play pretty much the entire year and that's Jamal 53 points tonight. It doesn't do any justice. This was a saucy saucy Jamal night. It really was. Gonna race his points per game by almost a full point, man, just in this one game alone. There are three players averaging 25 points for rebound seven assists per game. Let's see if we can name him. Three players. 24, what is it? 25 for rebound seven assists. Saluca. Yolukas one. Yokech. Yokech. And there's one more. Man. I don't know if Shay gets four rebounds, does he? It's Jamal Murray. Oh, Jamal Murray. I'm trying to set you up. I bet you won. I was thinking three other players. Three other players. Jamal Murray, yes. And I was a joker. I was a joker. Coming up. 25, four and seven. They're the only three players to do it. That's kind of crazy to be honest. Yeah. In retrospect, we should have guessed that. Yeah, we should have. The way it is. Really? It was like a trick question, right? No. It was a very easy question.
Very straight up and down question. I feel like we did get it right, though. In spiritual. Yeah, spiritual. We got this right. My red hot group. I was just going to... I'll build on it later, though. We'll come back to Yoke. Go for it. Yeah. My red hot group in big. Take away. Ah! We're about to get... Things are about to get fun around here, fellas. They're not over there. We're still... We have a little bit of like... We came down out of the mountains of despair. Yeah. The snow's mostly off our car, but there's still like... Stuff on the... I hate the mountains of despair. Yeah, but you know you have like that big ice chunk that takes a while to fall off from your car. Totally. Like we're just getting all of this yoke that has been this season slowly off the car. We're about... There are four game winning streak, the first time this calendar year, the first time... We don't know since when. We've stopped even paying attention to something like that. We've been in the absolute misery of win one, lose one, win one, lose one, lose two, win one, two.
It's like... All year we just never got an opportunity to flex even a little bit. And now... You know, you beat a team like this. You can't really flex. Except for... Yoke and Murray make it flexible, which I appreciate for both those guys. Things are about to get dope in Nuggets Nation. Man, like for those who have stuck through it, you're about to start to be able to talk some smack. It's going to get... Whether it's warrants or not, like... The Nuggets are just... They're about to be very dope. I just... They're just about to be very dope. There's going to be something like what we saw like this every night moving forward. Some players are going to have some dope thing that they're doing. Well, one thing that was missing tonight was the defense, but also missing tonight was Aaron Gordon. Now, I'm not... It was the second night of a bacto. There's reasons for the defense. But to your point, Nuggets shouldn't... Knock on wood. Have their full club, a man of rotation players. This should be the last time we go into it. This should be the last time that we are missing a player. New chapter starts Friday. From the start to the end. Jesus Christ, dude.
Yeah, we all did. We all knocked on wood. What do you got for his win? My Red Hawk roofing, big takeaway is that Paid Watson hasn't missed a beat. Plus, incredible today. This is honestly a game ball kind of performance. Most... A lot of times this was a game ball ball. Yeah, he did a performance from a guy like, do what? He makes a pulse. He's a distant third somehow. He came off the bench. He got 2% of the waterable mentioned third. And played two losing two stints. The Denver Pretty much. He came off the bench, played two 10 minute stints in a row. Yeah. Not dominant, but just was awesome in both of them. Finishes with 21.7 to 10 shooting. Hit two, three, four rebounds. Three assists was a plus three. I mean, he looked like Paid Watson, man. And he looked like the guy that all of a sudden established himself as one of the real potential building blocks of this team going forward a couple months ago. He looked like that same guy.
He was aggressive. Going to the rear. So aggressive. He was talking shit. He hit two threes. He hit that clutch one, like you said, probably the shot of the night. He was just great. And you really feel different about this team when you think you're going to get this type of Paid Watson. I mean, he really did look like the third best player on the team tonight. And not as in like, because he played a good game. Like he's capable of being the third best of the guys that were available night. I still think AG does some stuff, but whatever, it doesn't matter. It's just this type of Paid Watson, man. It changes this team entirely. They really pick and roll him in the open night that I absolutely loved. He stepped into shots. He had such a, just a confident 21 point game. Like all the place he made tonight were like, yes, this is what I do now. This is who I am now. I'm not just back. This is this is the player I am. And I love that it's happening within the flow. You know what? That was one of the big questions. Was can that happen when Yoke and everybody in Murray and everything else? It's like Paid Watson looked like he did when Yoke was out, but with Yoke itch.
Yeah. It's a great thing, man. It's a great big takeaway. It was incredible tonight. My red hawk roofing big takeaway. I think it's fair to point out that Denver's defense has not been good for any consistent margin. Second night of a back-to-back is tough. Denver did some tough stuff tonight. Their defense just, there's what eight games left and we got to see some defenses for me to believe it's possible. But this is the best offense they've ever had, man. This is the best offense the NBA's ever had. It's the best offense the NBA's probably ever had. There are offense really is. There's a lot of good offenses and they're going to have to play against some of them. And so there is something too, like it is strength for strength. Maybe it does come down to the defense, but my God, can they just score the ball? They, the numbers tonight are insane, but what's insane about it is just how easily the nugget score. And to be honest with you, it's kind of why Denver's defense is bad. I swear to God, they kept getting up 10, 12 points and then we're like, all right, let's take a couple off. You know, but they do that because they can just score every single time, man. Yeah. It's amazing to watch the ball does pop.
How many total assists tonight, 36 assists? They got guys that can shoot cam looks like he fits into the team now. Just so many guys right now play the role they're supposed to on the offensive end. Defense still waiting to get started building the championship piece there. But this offense, man, is we're kind of numb to it because we've seen great offense for 12 years with you. Yeah. But this one is better than the other ones I think. Yeah, I mean, it is the numbers back that up. The numbers back it up and you really don't have a, you don't feel like the nuggets don't have an answer for teams. Like you're just, when a team hits a shot, you know, Denver's going to respond back. It's never there. It's just like you're sitting there watching and saying, can they get a stop? Yeah. Which the answer is typically no, but they're going to score another end so easily. And it's not just the two men game. This game, this game was a lot of the two men, but it's just anybody can get going at any time. This is the best offensive version of the nuggets that we've seen. And again, don't forget they can add Aaron Gordon to this.
It can be better. Well, that's the thing is that the injuries and stuff somehow the offense is still the number one. That's what I mean. This is healthy. This is the most obnoxious thing about this year, man, is that it really has obscured how incredible he constructed this nuggets team is. You just haven't had an opportunity to actually see it. And then as it's starting to slowly come back together, we don't really get like a true test into the playoffs. But it's just you just see like, oh, wow, like God damn, this team is stacked, absolutely stacked. Yeah. I mean, the offense has been great. The defense is still waiting on, but you know what? No excuses going forward. A lot of home games, some rest, everything else. All right, we're going to break it down and we're going to start with one Jamal Murray right on the other side. And guys, where else do we start? On that side? On one, Jamal Murray. That's cold. 53.6 rebounds, four assists. Here's the thing. You think 53 points, man? I must have been getting them up. 19 to 28 shooting. Missed nine shots tonight in route to 53 points. And oh, he must have been living at the line. Six of six. I mean, Jamal Murray never lives at the line in his best games. True. And something awesome about him and that I love the 50 point game with no triple doubles. His double nickel earlier this season. Barely shot any free throws in tonight was the same thing as ethical as they come. And he really had it all tonight. Like he had the entire bag tonight. The three was dropping. Getting to his spots in the mid range. That fade away from like the elbow that he absolutely loves. Where he just creates just enough space and hits that high arcing shot over his defender. He had it all going, man. The finish is around the rim. And what I loved maybe more than anything was the emotion he played with.
He was screaming out the crowd. Yes. He was yelling at guys out there. He was fired up, man. And that's the Jamal Murray that I really love. What he's scoring like that. But also when he just lets it go. When he just lets go for a second and just is himself. And lets that emotion out, man. It's such an important part of him. And it's such an important element of this team that they kind of lack when he's not in that mode. Yeah. The swag part of it is so encouraging. I don't know what else encouraging about it is. This was the second night of a back to back. Murray's exhausted. He's been playing a ton. But I love that he had this game tonight. We joked. We used to joke about how Murray, oh, he rolled his ankle. He's about to have a great game. You know, like he needs something to be hindering him. And tonight it was the back to back. And it's like, final. Just go score 53 points. To me, it does tell me that there's a little bit of that warrior mindset that is ramping up for the playoffs. It seems like there's a switch with him this year too. Like you just talking like brought it up. There used to have to be something that happened to ignite this stuff.
He had to have a twisted ankle or he had to be going back and forth with another player and trash talking him. Or something in the game that like wronged him for him to get to this element. Not tonight. It really was him just willing himself through this one. Because he was hands on these the entire time. He was tired trying to get through all those. They were throwing double teams at him. It didn't matter because this shot was just so on and he started to knock it down. And then once he starts feeling it and getting into the like with the crowd, there's nobody that gets hotter than Jamal. Like it really isn't that that's fun to see from him. Then he's also, he took a lot of shots in this game with 28. But a lot of it was in the flow. A lot of it was I saw basketball because there's nobody that can guard him that's running the sets. It's like getting into his spots. You just love to see him start cooking. I just want to continue to see Jamal cook. Right now, man. Like just what a great year for Jamal Marie. Like when people were kind of out on him.
Like people were really starting to question him. And he had that disastrous stint with the team Canada. And like just every his stock was could not have been lower. And it really seemed like I don't maybe this guy's body is like kind of going out on him early. Like he's seem slow kind of hindered. Like he doesn't really have the same spark that he can't shake anybody. And tonight like it's just another in a long line of like Jamal Marie. Just like these big declarations that not only is he not done. It's just like he's not done growing. Like you still haven't seen the best of Jamal Marie. It feels like. And I thought for sure like after the bubble we had already seen the peak. And I'm not convinced anymore. Like I think that there's big things in store for this guy. Like he just he wants it, man. I love that he wants it. Like he's not not only not showing away from it. Like when we were so I mean we were I especially always very mad going on the stretch. When it seemed like David Adam and mismanaged his minutes. Kept him in too long on the second night of a back to back where he got no sleep.
And the nuggets gave up an 11 point run. But there's no way Jamal Marie would have allowed himself to come out. You know like Jamal Marie wants this. He like he's hungry for it. And again like this there's not this was not a big leverage game. But like you saw that buyer coming out of Jamal Marie screaming at the crowd. Like very expressive. Very like just energized. And it's like. That's part man. When you start to see that. When you start to see that especially this time of year. You know that things are starting to change like Jamal Marie is starting to evolve. He's waking up. Well, but even more than that D line. One of the questions I have. And one of the reasons I wanted to be at the arena a little bit lately is I'm like, does the team believe? Right. You know, like I don't know. I can don't know if the team believes because the years been so frustrating and up and down and this stuff. But that to me is why Jamal swag tonight the way he carried himself. So it wasn't just making shots. It was talking to the crowd. Right. Watch this. It's about to go.
It's like, yeah, that's a level of belief that I can't really relate to. No. You know, that's a level of belief. But I want my favorite athletes to have. You know that when Cooper flag scored his 50 points. It did not look like that. Right. He wasn't like. John had people who just like did it. Go went back. Jamal Marie is like waiting for contact. Wants to put in your eye. Not looking for contact. Like he wants the ball to go in. Yeah. He wants. He wants the highlight shot. Like he wants the crazy circus shot to actually go. And he's not looking for fouls at all. It's wild. He was unbelievable tonight, man. 53 points on a back to back with this bum shoulder and everything else. But there was another guy ahead of good game tonight. 23 points for you. 21 rebounds. 19 assists. He now has as somebody pointed out in my mentions. 3.97 triple doubles in the last 25 hours. And two games. He now combines for 46 points who check the four triple doubles there. 38 rebounds. Just barely shy. A four four four times ten.
And 36 assists. In two games. In less than 25 hours. So back. Here's the other thing about it. And back. The numbers he's putting up. Three games in a row. 22 14 and 14. Worst game of the three game stretch. That's crazy. That is crazy. And he for sure solidified himself as averaging another triple double in the year. 21 rebounds. That's anybody that goes down there. Any miss shot. He controls it. And now he's getting to the point that every single time he grabs the rebound, it turns into an assist. Yeah. Because he's just throwing it into the fast break opportunity the other way. He's dominating. It's not just the scoring. Which if it was just a scoring. He'll be a MVP like a brother runner. But he's he's he's filling up the box in every other way. And with the the biggest assist numbers that has come back. It just it just so happens that everybody else looks happy. Everybody else looks comfortable. He has Cam Johnson playing well.
You know, Christian Brown is finally getting out and transition. Assisting nine people. Jamal is scoring it like he's really unlocking everybody. And teams are having a hard time trying to figure him out right now. Because they went to that like small ball. But when he out, he's getting these huge assists. It's like, okay, pick your poison. Like we don't know what to do again. So I just love that he's adapting to it. But really, he's he's putting up video game numbers right now. And every single time that he's out there. We're seeing another run from Yokeuch that we haven't seen since last year. I know. We haven't seen since January. We haven't seen every single time. It's just like, when have we seen these numbers? He's the only one that's doing it. Here's the thing though, these last four games. You can even go back to the Raptors game when he only had 2289. 22 14 14 against the Blazers 23 17 17 against the Suns 23 21 19 tonight. The most points he scored in this four game winning streak is 23.
Yeah. The assist he's dished out 9 14 17 19. I mean, this is the perfect way that Yoke wants to play. This is how he wants the offense to run. I actually think he's going to try to score more. I do think there's a little bit of Yoke trying to get everybody going. But especially for a regular season though. Yeah, regular season. If you think back to the preseason, we thought he'd have more scoring games like these. And less like the 28 points he's averaging this season. Yeah. We thought his scoring would be down because his assist would be up. And he's got all these shooters and all these weapons. I just love how he's moved up and down the court these last four games. It seems like he's been like a pretty comfortable space other than, you know, what's happening with the officiating. But in terms of how the offense is running, how he's feeding guys, his role, how people are moving and cutting off of him. I just think he's at he's at a really good place with the offense. Funny enough though, this is the first time in the month of March.
It's March 25th, by the way. The first time he shot below 50%. Well, three took five threes. Yeah, that's that's the only reason why his numbers are crazy. And it's funny. He has three triple doubles in a row. It's his second longest triple double streak of the month. Four earlier in the month. Guys of monster, man, I do feel like whatever. I mean, obviously this is old news because I think he's been out of his like post rehab. Oh, you know, for a while, but it's like, now it's definitive. When you're putting up 19 assists, 17 assists, 14 assists, just casual. The assists are looking good, man. Disgusting. Is there any critiques? I would say yoga just defense was pretty bad tonight. It was bad. I mean, I can't really focus too heavy on the defense in general because it just wasn't the tone and tender of this game. It was just kind of a bit of a, you know, like I do, I do still in my heart believe that they will turn it on. Just not because it's, I just want to believe I just see it every year. They just do this every year.
Like I don't know what this is just who they are. They, and I think it really all like we've had this conversation eight million times. It all comes down to yokets. Like it really just all comes down to him because his defense requires the most effort of any of the guys in the court. Because he has a huge body that he has to like move his hips, jump around, get in front of like driving lanes. He has to be positionally in the right spot, not just like bark at like. And you can't just, if you're a step behind, then guys in the area are going to drive by you and get to the basket. And you know, he had five fouls tonight. If he gets like really active on defense in a game like this where he's not also fleet of foot, like he would foul out. One of my critiques is in a game like this where this is one of his most assists on the whole year. You only have one turnover. Yeah, he's the turnover dude. That's the key staff that is crazy because he's asked some of these games, especially has a late where he's been putting up like eight nine turnovers in the game.
The one that he's really dealing because he's locked in on his passes. He has nine to this and a couple of them were left on the table. You think about the Spencer Jones misdunk. You know, think about guys not going up when they should have like this should have been a 2020 game for sure. But I love the fact that he's not doing those careless passes that he was doing. So he is starting to reel in on that like, okay, I got to take care of the ball. And also make everyone else happy. Well, it is funny because those turnovers and when he was coming back felt like he wasn't feeling the game, which is very rare for us. But tonight the play he had to pay and watch it at the end of the third quarter is the ultimate. Like, I don't know, it's not a great team. You know, this maps whatever, but it's the ultimate. Like, I just to be able to set the table. It's not like he saw the play happening. He was like, if you go here here and here, Peyton, do this one. It's going to be wide open for a dunk on the last possession. The one moment when a defense is actually locked in, like, it's going to go stop to end this quarter. He's like, do this, this and this. Behind the back wide open dunk. Yeah, and it also it mastery.
It's worth mentioning, like, I think he's finally kind of back in shape. Like, I think like, because I think that that was a lot of the turn, not that the turnovers were that long ago. But I just feel like when he gets, you know, like you get, when you get tired, you get looser. You start, you lose focus. And to me, he just looks like he's a little bit more. I think you're 100% right. And that's why I thought Yokes answered to me at the presser the other day when I asked him how long it takes Peyton or like for anybody to come back and get in shape. And he said a month, three, four weeks. And I was kind of like, Peyton's back immediately. It takes a lot of being young and skinny. It's like easy to be able to depend how long, how many times they go to watch. But I did think it kind of felt more like Yoke talking about himself. Like he was like, well, I sucked for a month, but, you know, so I think about that. Yeah, but I think he's back, man. He's back. He's so back, dude. He's so back. We're so back. Let's take a break on the other side. A couple more nuggets I want to talk about, including Cam Johnson, Julian Strother. Yeah.
And of course Peyton Watson. Check out the Xfinity five year price guarantee. What if you could lock in your Wi-Fi and great Wi-Fi at that for five years at the same price? I've got to talk about Payton Watson again. Yep. 21 points from M4 rebounds three assists. This guy, Celia, is so good. We're talking about, can you retain the guy at whatever? I honestly think that he can be part of a Yokech Murray Peewatt Big 3 in very short order. This year, he's already good enough to just be like alongside what Avery and Gordon is. Alongside and contributed to it. But if you just watch it right now and said, who are the four best nuggets on, like, players on the nugget roster right now? You know, could Murray air locks? Aaron Gordon's a lock? I think Payton Watson right now is, like, there's just more evidence for than against that he
is that good of a player. And that's not a knock on the other guys. It's that Peewatt is becoming a guy, not just a good role player. I mean, what he's done from last year to this year is turn himself from a guy who was kind of a specialist. Defender and a corner shooter. Right. And that was pretty much it. He could maybe play make a little bit if he gave him the opportunity. He looks like a complete player right now. He's a two-way weapon that could hurt you from three. That can even get going in the mid range and it can finish around the rim. And defensively, we always know what he can do. It's just pretty crazy how he's taking the jump from specialists to a guy who can do everything. And a guy who you feel very confident in doing everything. I do not think they have tapped into the most deadly part of his game with regards to this, which is pick and rolls with Yoke. Yep. They had one tonight that just looks so easy. And like, Peewatt gets into the paint. That's his value. Well, if you can run pick and roll with Yoke it should get into the paint. That's so valuable because that means Yoke's open. Like, that's the tension Yoke creates in the pick and roll.
Somebody has to stick close to him because he can do anything. That's the part to me where I'm like, this dude's so good. And I don't even feel like they've gone to the thing that's ultimately going to be. I foresee a world where if you get Peyton Watson reupped for another three years, three years time, we're talking about the Peewatt Yokeitch two-man game and how dynamic it is. Yeah. It's wow. What are he doing right now? I have a low cousin Kishan. My cousin Kishan is a dancer. Like, he just loves to dance. It doesn't matter what beat you put on. Like, you could put on a... I don't know. This is funny. It doesn't matter. He's doing the doggy to salsa. I'm just a dancer and stuff like that. I just feel like Peyton Watson is like dancing to his own beat. Like, he's not even doing the same things that everyone knows. It seems like he's playing his own tune the entire time. Like, I really do think he's just so different than everyone else. And that's what makes him a star while he's out there. You talk about that. That's two-man game. You only see it very rarely because he's scoring so easily.
And then when you add him next to Yoke, teams don't know how to adjust to that. I mean, he's doing anything. He's doing the word out there when he's not supposed to be doing the word. Like, he's just doing everything right now. I love how Peyton Watson is playing right now. He only played 23 minutes in this game. 21 points. That's coming back from an injury. I mean, he's doing anything. He's doing the word out there when he's not supposed to be coming back from an injury. Like, it really does feel like he has not skipped a beat at all since he's got back. And that's only offensively. He's been doing this thing on both ends of the floor, but I just think that you have to pay pay. You got to pay pay. You got to pay pay. They got to find a way, man. They really do have to find a way. It's crazy because, I mean, you look at the nuggets in a tier system. It's like, okay, Murray and Yoke, PB&J, tier one, tier two. I'm probably airing Gordon in that top tier also. Tier two, it's like Peyton Watson, Killacam, Peyton Watson the best of them,
but also Christian Brown at times. Like, they have all these players that are right around that same level of quality. Peyton Watson is starting to separate himself, but it's just another sign that it's like, man, he got almost no time tonight. He keeps, quickly scored, what, 18 points, 19 points, 21 points. 71 points. And, um, Prius Sys by the way, too, is not like nothing. In 22, 3 minutes, it's not like he's touching the ball all the time. So he gets more sense. I mean, he's going to be, I mean, he's going to be the absolute leader of that bench unit. I feel like Anne's going to get a bunch of rough over time with, uh, with the starters. Um, it's just, I don't know. I feel like we're going to see a lot of 142 point out, but, well, it was interesting to me tonight that the stagger unit to start the second. And I think just more out of necessity was Bruce, Tim, Julian, P.Watt, Spence. There's no starters in that lineup. And what's interesting to me about it is, let's just take Spence out of that group and put in Aaron Gordon as your backup center.
Aaron Gordon is a stagger. We always thought it has to be, maybe Cam can be, it's got to be Jamal, you got to put somebody out there. Peyton is playing well enough that I still think in the playoffs you're likely to have Jamal out there more often than not. And maybe Julian's just not out there or something. But I look at that and I go, yeah, P.Watt can create though. That's not a bad option for just that style of basketball where you're really just trying to defend and offensively get something up. He can get shots up, you know, he can create something. So I don't know that Denver's going to go to a ton to it. But I do think that you can look at lineups now where P.Watt elevates to take whatever shot you want. Just be aggressive and try to get into the paint. And look if it comes and we're at the end of the game, he'll be out there. Definitely. I mean, we're probably going to talk maybe a little bit about the starting lineup throughout the rest of the season and close to what happens in the playoffs. But I mean, closing, it's hard to envision him not being out there. Well, him hitting that shot tonight was meaningful because it wasn't like it was the cleanest easiest one. It was an open shot. But it had to be a no hesitation shot. It had to be just catching go up with it and it was and it was pure and it's like,
yeah, he's got that. That had to feel good. You'll think about that closing lineup though. Yokech, Murray, Aaron Gordon, Cam and Peyton Watson. I love it. There's so much late. Death line up. That is our death line up. That is our death line up. That is our death line. Yeah. Yeah. Cam Johnson deep threes wasn't necessarily hitting him tonight, but he was taking him. Yeah. I think he had one. I think he was like, there's two misses. I think two of them. Yeah. We're deep. But part of me wonders like he hasn't been taking these all year, but I wonder if that too is part of the ramp up. Like, if you think about Oklahoma City and shout out, Ray Martin only brought this up to me on my mention on Twitter. OK, C is so good because of how much ground they can cover to close that on shooters. Just giving an extra two feet of space and saying, you know what, I'm spotting up from here. Might actually be the difference in that series. I don't know if I trust him to make a lot of them, but I kind of would not mind the last nine games of the season being like, you know what, Cam, stretch that range out another four or five feet. Let's just see. It's such a weapon if he can hit those, man.
I mean, we saw the suns hit a bunch of them. So I'm going to get the last night. Grayson Allen. Grayson Allen. Deep ones. Gillespie was taking some deep ones. Nuggets have never really had that deep three point shooter. Hopefully Cam can develop that. I mean, it'd be a really useful weapon for sure. I feel like he should be able to shoot those. I thought there were a couple great other moments for Cam's game tonight, though. That dunk. Oh, he had a poster dunk. Kill a cam came out to play on that dunk, man. That was ferocious. Like, I didn't even think he had that in. Not. Like, that's killer cam, I guess, like nowhere, like killer. We call him killer cam, but it's like it's a little, like, a little, like, a little chicken. And now I'm like, let's kill a cam. Yeah, I was like, did we could? Yeah, maybe this guy just this him, yeah. Going the wrong way. Oh, somebody's going the wrong way. You can't, you can't, you can't, you can't, you can't react to something that's happening outside because we take, we're like, I know, I thought it was a little crazy pull back.
But you say it's like, there's an old guy that is like, anything's possible at that both of the street. Absolutely. But I, man, I just cam Johnson, like his just, um, becoming more and more and more, like what do he, he was what, five of eight, like he shot five eight, incredibly efficiently. He doesn't, this is the exact role we were hoping his game really was efficient. If you think about the shot, he missed, he missed the two, the two deep ones and then a their range pull up air ball, but that was, those are the only shots that he missed. But if he's able to hit that, like it just shows the arsenal that he has, he could dunk on you, he could, you know, shoot the mid range shot, which he got to a couple of times and also he's knocking down his three ball. But what I love about it is nobody says anything to him when he takes those deep shots. Like they're kind of encouraging it. I think that he's starting to feel like a little bit more welcome on the shots that he's taken right now because that, that makes you feel good is like, hey, teammates are happy
with me. You know, I'm, you know, solid. I'm aggressive. I'm getting to what I need to get to. He's starting to come into. I know. I feel like he's finally like part of the team. Yeah. I agree. Yeah, I agree. Like it's finally comfortable. It's not like an imposition. If he shoots a shot that he shouldn't or whatever, it's like, yo, you got the ball to shoot the shot. Yeah, I'm sure. I think we screwed up the tarot cards this year because he's totally having the, the card that was for a Julian Strother, the like a prison of your own making, you know, where it's because you said like the team is okay with him shooting it. Yeah, they always were okay with him. Yeah. It took all the way till now for him to be like, oh, you guys are fine. If I just, they're like, yeah, just shoot the ball. Was that don't that he had off a curl? I don't remember. I don't know. I don't remember. I thought it was a fast break. I don't remember either, but he's been way more aggressive. I feel like it was off the curl. Looking for his shot and looking to attack when he comes off the curl when they run that KCP play. And I mean, throughout most of the season, he was really hesitant in that moment, comes off the Yokech handoff gets like to the elbow, doesn't really want to shoot that jumper,
doesn't really want to go to the room. Just looks to kick it out. He's been way more decisive in that moment, either looking to shoot or just dunk on the ball. And like, he's now like really, truly fully replacing microporter juniors output, like a very, very comparable over the last however many. It's like 16 to 18 points, knocks down the three when it finds him, doesn't like, you know, he's kind of becoming him, though, because he's like very aggressive and assertive early on. And then just kind of like, I'm going to just back it up, everyone else do their thing later on and get the attention off of me, like it's kind of how he's playing right now. But yeah, it's wild. This is like kind of, you know, in our wildest dreams, at least mine, trading microporter juniors like, well, maybe taking a step back a little bit. Right now, they have, feels like we're getting what you need. So why the offense is humming, let's go now, do we don't have vote yet, do we? From ball arena, um, let's, uh, let's go now to our game ball. Who gets the game ball tonight?
I can't believe it was a lot inside of the ball. Flurries in the forecast. He did have three Flurries, man, three separate. I can't even have a 50 burger or, or double no, he didn't even have a 50 burger, just a 53 piece. He had a 50 burger with a side, uh, let's also go now to our bet three, six, five tracker here. Yeah, the picture. I got screwed tonight. Did you? You just might have made a bad bet. No, I made a good bet. It was correct spiritually, man. I'm telling you guys, nobody wants to acknowledge it. It was because he got an assist, like 15 seconds later, explain what your about was. Here's what it was. It was yokich to get two assists in the first three minutes. And they run a play at Jamal Murray. Could shoot it? He loses the ball. Throws it away. They come down around the same play, assist to you. Jamal Murray, his course. Just the next play down. Man, I like that tracker. Speaking of bet, three, six, five. It was a full-on sweep. You did sweep tonight. You did sweep tonight. Man. I keep working for it since we started tracking. No, it can't be. I was at one point. It was one to zero.
He had wasn't on that show. Really? You weren't on that show? No, I don't know. I don't know. Listen, I'm not even bragging about that. I've just seen a kill mix upstairs for a deal. Bet three, six, five. I don't know anything. I really don't know the app. It's used code DNBR365 at side of today. Let's take our final break on the other side. Hopefully, vote from ballerina. All right, cool. Well, let's get in through it. Again, I'm so sorry, Dev, to have interrupted. 400 wins. 400 wins, you guys, for Murray and Yokech together as a tandem, the most in the NBA since the 16-17 season. Perhaps that's why David Adelman called them the best tandem in all of basketball tonight at the podium. He was very impressed by Jamal Murray. Very impressed by Jamal Murray. He says, I hope that all NBA is something that is obvious and doesn't become an argument. He's already lobbying. He thinks Jamal Murray should make an all-NB18. Obviously, Yokech was pretty impressive as well. You guys, some pretty incredible back-to-back numbers here in 48 hours.
But Adelman noted how much of both of their success sort of came off of each others. And so, at one point, they were doubling Murray, which made things easier for Yokech. At another point, they were doubling Yokech. And it was just sort of really easy for everyone to feast off of all of the attention that everyone was getting. He really spent most of the time waxing about his dynamic duo. I wonder why. But he did want to give a couple of other shout-outs to guys who hit key shots in a really wild game. You shouted out Bruce Brown, Peyton Watson, Julian Strother, as guys who hit some timely, timely buckets. But mostly, he said tonight was just really special. Said it reminded him of that double, triple, double in the finals from Murray and Yokech. Outrageous numbers, he said, from the best tandem in the NBA. Jamal Murray scored 53 points tonight. He scored three of them in the third quarter. That's pretty impressive. That's crazy, man. Adelman laughed and said, patience is a virtue. They adjusted. But as a team, he felt like they scored some points in the third.
Again, based off that adjustment that Jamal had forced. At one point, he referred to these two guys as the history book of this team. I thought that was pretty cool. We're just going to be the banger. That's actually a good one for D.A. It reminded me of History Channel 5280 actually. Yeah, that's actually the difference though. History channel 5280 is better. Yep, I know, that's what one's always going to have in this. It's like, I don't care if one could just take that loss on the way out. Who probably disappointed on their way out of the A.A. He did say they're just going to be really cool when it's all over. And we look back at what these two did together. I actually don't think it's going to be that cool. I hope this never ends personally. We did talk to Jamal Murray. Put that in your black and mild end and hail it. Smoke, but don't inhale. Put that in your pipe and smoke. We heard from Jamal Murray who was asked,
Jamal, usually when you play like this, you tell us you were just taking what the game was giving you. What was the game giving you? Great question, I thought. Very well worded. Jamal said, well, I was just making some shots. And I kept making them a fair assessment. And then he said, they said, but you know, Yochich rattled off his numbers. He goes, we can talk about him too. Balls in his hands a lot. If for him to get doubled most of the time, making passes, making reads over high, high hands. And goes, we're not just talking about once or twice. Night in, night out for, you know, six, seven years. Really, really impressive to Jamal Murray. On the clutch time, he said, it's just our experience. We've been doing it for a while, even though we might miss some shots in the clutch. It doesn't take away from who we are and what we've accomplished in clutch time. He was asked about his chemistry with Yochich. And he said, you know, our best chemistry is actually when we're not playing well together. Sometimes he's having a rough day and I'll pick up the slack. There are days when I'm not doing what I need to do and he just takes over.
And then the nights when we both have it going, he said, are really special. It's just fun to play this pure brand of basketball. Whether we miss or make shots, it's just fun to play. I enjoy it. I enjoy my time here. I enjoy being here. Stay on paper. He said he actually felt like in the first game, he was maybe trying to find his rhythm. And then he said, and he didn't even need to try. You know, a night light tonight, there was just no forcing it. He was able to get to his bag. So Jamal was pretty impressed by Peyton Watson. spoke with Cam Johnson briefly in the locker room who referred to what Yochich and Murray did tonight as video game numbers, when asked about their connection and what makes them so special. Cam Johnson interrupted the question to say, I mean, they're just really good, man. They're just really good. And lastly, I have you guys noticed that Cam likes to set up pretty deep for a spot-up shooter. Adam, you pointed this out in the past. And I thought this would be a really interesting thing to ask Cam Johnson, who I'm pretty sure thought
I was giving him a suggestion. And he already looks at me for a bit. And he goes, yeah, I mean, I guess I could do that. That would be nice. I said, no, Cam. I think that you already do. And he was like, oh, okay. Yeah. So we talked it through. And he's like, oh, I'll try it. I don't know. I don't know. He's just giving them a suggestion. And Cam breathed. It was real. This is my read. It cracked me up, though. Eventually, he said, well, it makes it really hard for them to disguise what they want to do. Like, when they're closer to the action and the scheme, like, they can sort of kind of do both. But if you're really far out there, they either got to be with you or not. It makes it harder for defenses to disguise stuff. Really great answer. The scrum broke and I said, hey, man, just to be super clear, not a suggestion. Although, if you want any advice, I could tell you like where you should put your hands on the ball and stuff. We decided he's got. I'll handle the media. He's good. Cam doesn't take deep threes, Johnson. That's what they're calling him.
Great stuff. Oh, can't wait to see what you write. I hope you enjoyed that one, man. What a night to be a ballerina. A real pleasure, man. It's picking up around here. It's been a little more fun. Could you bring me back a box score from this game? Also, yeah, yeah. Thank you. I appreciate it. I could have texted you that, but I. You said that things are getting better on there. Can you summarize that and maybe one to two words? We're back. Let's go, baby. Come on. Later, buddy. See you, guys. Oh, cracks me, though. He's so great. The funniest thing is I felt like I was taking deep threes tonight was pretty like what? I knew that was kind of the thing. He did the thing. Just broke his brain for a second. I was like, oh, I should. Yeah. And then he came up with the perfect answer. That's clever. That's clever. Probably might open up. It opens up the game plan. Looks like we don't have time for a round. Let's go. That just kidding. Let's go back around this. Come on. It's the night tonight. We'll work overtime. I'm just going to just talk about the teams
that I want to talk about. Not the hawks anymore. I ended up on the mountain again. OG mail up to you, Dev. Probably cooking, so he's a bucket. Somewhere around three or four hundred pounds. Well, with this one, Boston Celtics, got a win over the thunder. Finally broke that streak that the thunder was on. I feel like they would just win every single game. They kind of do. SGA had 33 points. He was 10 of 12 from the field. Like, why would he not be shooting more? He went 10 of 12 also from the Frito line. Well, there it is. It's usually a little bit more. Jalen Brown at 31 points. Still the show for them. Jason Tannum, I don't understand how he's still playing. Like 35 minutes and stuff like that. It's incredible, man. Just wild to see. Next game up, the Lakers won. It seems like they continue to win. I hate to see it because they lost last time. We're going to be hating on them for the next week and a half. Nothing feels bad or two lifetimes for nothing. Nothing feels better than 80, the Lakers.
Man, somehow Luke is playing out of his mind still. He had 30 fill goal attempts. That's 30. He had 43 points in this one. LeBron James is playing well. Two goal attempts. Yeah, 30. He won 15 of 30. So it was like, okay, my official. That's just pretty crazy to see. But they got another win. I think the Nuggets are only like one and a half game back from the Lakers. So we want them to lose. And then the game of the night that I'll conclude with is somehow. Somehow, someway, the Rockets. The Rockets, where everyone thinks is good. They lost the game tonight and over time. One 10 to 108. The Timberwolves won on a 15-0 run. No, and by the way, no, and no. This was one that we also were so excited about pushing for them. This doesn't make sense. Kevin Durant, 30 points in the game. He went 10 of 12 from the free throw line. He missed the free throws to take them into double over time.
Yeah, that was a brutal one. They had another opportunity. Thompson had a horrible inbound. Just awful. Just brutal. No high school education. She's crazy to see. It was rough. It was rough. On that other side, Jayden McDaniel's had 25 points. Julius Rando had 24 points. On 27 fill goal, it's not as a student of ball right now. 24 points on 27 attempts. That's what it is. Dude, it takes a special mentality to get up 27 shots when you're missing them all. Just keep on shooting. 11 of 27, and we're going to still keep finding you. He's got that jailing green in him. Yeah, he does. Hey, here's the thing though about this one. Number one, this makes it significantly more likely that nuggets with timber rules will be your first round matchup. Whoever won this game, the odds were going to be more likely that that would be who Denver plays. It was Minnesota. Number two, winning without Anthony Edwards, winning when you're down 13 points in over time.
To me, what's scary about the Tim Wolves, I didn't even think they were that good these last two years when they made the Congress finals. Not that they were bad. I just didn't think they were like this unbelievable talented team. They're just tough, man. They are. They are tough. And this is a tough win. And this tells me that they can be the team that you have to kill. They're not going to kill themselves. They're not going to die. They're not going to quit. They are going to be tough to kill. And it's just shaping up. Nuggets, timber wolves, fills to me like a near lock. Hey, hello. Into over time. Yeah. I don't know over time. Let's read our superchats. Or do you want to keep going? If there's no, I don't know. I want to keep going. All right, let's get our superchats here. Do we have any kill? No, to suit new in that. Tim Rolves, game either. Damn. I know. Hunter House. Does Yoke still have a chance of what it can be? No, just to be clear, he never did. Yeah, he never did. He's he's above the conversation. Maybe best, but not in the I will say this. I actually think because she's going to win the MVP.
I just think I'm curious to see how two, three and four come in. I'm just like, I think this will be a very there'll be a lot of opinions. For sure. 80 KG Costco chicken, watching us win in Wolves Rockets, each has its own meltdown at the same time. Has to be the funniest thing ever. Great day to be a Nuggets fan. Third seed. Maybe, maybe we are one and a half back in the Lakers. Ryan B. Behold this fully operational battle stage. Yeah, let's go. We're the Darth, whatever. Uncle Rico's revenge. Delod repeat after me. We we so so back back. I know that already. Yeah. The boy's dead. I was really looking forward to having vote pronounced. Songbore. Viet. Okay. Hope I didn't disappoint. I guess. Yeah, you got Harrison. I'm sorry. Uncle Rico's revenge. What kind of sauce was murdered? Dude looked like he had a swig of MJ's secret stuff.
Oh, man. Tequila? Yeah. Game Shine. When I said I would crash if Murray played, I failed. Consider that Murray would crash out. Cause new balance bouncing because of a room. Oh, maybe that was the revenge game. I think he, I feel like he got bounced because of camera break more than, uh, number flag. But whatever. Game Shine. The Mavericks were in it because of the refs. That one sequence almost set me. Right now. Yo, it almost sent yo command. That one. I mean, it was Ron's love devs hat. Hey, hey, hates our hats. I guess. Oh, jeez. Nugs heating up at the right time. Everything is lining up nicely. Go nugs. I'll tell you the second. Oh, it's been. It's been like the planets are aligning for our Denver Nuggets. New account just dropped. New account Spencer Jones linked in. Whoa. Is that a New Zealand? This has potential to be a great account. I'm just saying. Yeah, we'll see. Everyone wants the win. Nobody talks about the grinds. Oh, let's go on the second. I'm going to have a back to back.
We had to cut this one out, man. Thisness. It's no different. Execution matters when the take is empty. I have to say that. This is a great job. It's also true. It's also true. Earlier today. Great account dude. I love you if you guys realize this. Technically, what we do is business. And earlier today, I had to get it out, man. No, we didn't have to get it out. It's no different. I was very tired tonight. This is business, but that is the forever one. And it can just keep going. It's really good. I knew like Spencer Jones break down every game. Everyone at least know more back to back games. Until next season. We'll probably have the most again. Yeah. Okay, because revenge. Every time I see Burry this locked in, I want to bug like he did to Kevin Harlan after hitting that half court. Should be an incentive in his contract. And dude, he did it, man. He did it. He was screaming at the crowd. I loved it. Doing the like this. Oh, man, nothing better. Thomas Shelby Truther. All city jingle lyrics.
All city like the mayor. All city like the mayor. So I'll tell you, yes, it says all city like the mayor. The reason it says that, it's a line from one of my favorite songs. But all city in graffiti writing means that you're known everywhere all over the entire city. So when you say we're all city like the mayor, it means like our name is known everywhere like the mayor's is. God, that's good. And that's really good. Mikey Fantastic, marked this. I think before the end of next season, Yokech will have the first ever double triple double. Triple double in both halves of a game. No, he already has it. The 30, 20, 20. Yeah, we did. Did he have a triple double in both halves? I thought it was. Did he had it in each half? But maybe I'm wrong. I thought so. No, he did. Yeah, I thought it was. I thought it was a big deal. Brothers. Kyle M. Hayatem. Bro, Hayat, this one. I got the Marvel game out of the best game. There's a garbage. It's a 15 piece. It's a 20. But it's like, it was a mad one. Damn, that was crazy. Manves are taking, dude. It's like, come on, man. It's like, it's dressed up to go to a,
like a little kids birthday party. And it was the best little kids birthday party. You're like, it dressed up to come to watch basketball. That's a pretty good one to get. That's a pretty good one. That's a pretty good little kids birthday party. Like, put down a bunch of like really nice clothes to come watch basketball. Like what kind of idiot would do that extra perfume tiles nailed this. I feel this year. I just feel like he's done this perfect They played it perfect man game shine. Uh, Nuggets only team because of refs who played all playoff games pay a ton Watson Jamal NBA all the nuggets are good by the way. I'm DNVR loyal hell. Yeah, man. Hell yeah. Yeah, that's a good two snappy Navine Shay score 33 points with 83% feel goal and three of four from three against the Celtics He's number one on rigger 100.
