From NFL coverage, this is your March 9th update. The Jacksonville Jaguars are losing their top rusher after a strong season under Coach Liam Cohen. Travis Etienne has signed with the New Orleans Saints as free agency kicked off this week. It's a four-year deal worth $52 million, bringing the Louisiana native back to his home state. Etienne becomes a key addition to the Saints' backfield right away. Fans are buzzing about the end of a long partnership with Jaguar's quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The two have been teammates since their freshman year at Clemson in 2018, and both win first round picks the Jacksonville in 20. 21. Etienne wrapped up a solid year with 1107 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. He bounced back strong after missing his rookie season to injury, posting three 1,000 yard campaigns over the last four years. Jacksonville has a replacement ready in rookie by Soul Tuton, who stepped up as the number two back last season with 307 yards and five scores on 83 carries.
