J. Cole on Kendrick & Drake Beef: 'Big Three' Hopes

0:00On March 2-8, Jay Cole just opened up on the NFR podcast about that whole rap beef saga with Kendrick Lamar and Drake. He straight admitted his apology to Kendrick, kind of watered down his tough talk on beef in general. But he's still scratching his head over why Kendrick called out Drake for doing him foul in that not like us track. Cole's holding out hope that him, Kendrick and Drake, the so-called Big Three, could squash it one day and link up. That said, he's real skeptical, it'll ever happen, figuring the odds are low. Fans are buzzing with all kinds of theories on what Kendrick meant by that line, but Cole's not diving into it. He says he ain't trying to feed the world his personal side, and doubts anybody really wants to hear it anyway. Looking back, Cole explained he had zero clue how wild that beef would blow up. It got way more tense and entertaining than he ever pictured, all in hindsight. We'll have to wait and see if Kendrick or Drake dropped their own takes in interviews soon. Every time we'll tell if peace is on the horizon, or if this stays messy.
