Israeli Raid in Lebanon: No Arad Remains Found

Israeli Commandos launched a raid into eastern Lebanon near the Syrian border, targeting the town of Nabi Chit in search of remains linked to missing. Pilot, Ron Erid, the operation sparked clashes with Hezbollah fighters and locals, resulting in at least 41 deaths and 40 injuries according to Lebanon's health ministry. The Commandos reportedly wore Lebanese army uniforms and used ambulances marked with Hezbollah's health group logo. They landed in nearby mountains before entering the town and digging up a grave in a local cemetery. Hezbollah confirmed the clash and said Israeli airstrikes, about 40 in total, pounded the area to help the ground team escape. Lebanon's army chief noted the disguises used during the incursion. Ron Erid parachuted from a downed Israeli jet in Lebanon back in 1986 during a mission against militants. A Shi'ai group captured him alive at first, holding him in Nabi Chit until around 1988, after which he vanished.
