In developments concerning Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, claimed Saturday that Iran's navy targeted three US-affiliated ships and three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC stated this was retaliation for US strikes on three Iranian oil tankers earlier that day. However, US Central Command, Senkham, has not confirmed these reported strikes. The IRGC also issued a warning against ships, transiting the Strait via routes unauthorized by Iran. According to Senkham, US forces struck three Iranian oil tankers after Iran's IRGC launched ballistic missiles at two US navy ships. Admiral Brad Cooper, head of Senkham, stated, if you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost, taking out three of yours.

He also criticized pro-Palestinian activists and public figures for remaining silent on these alleged abuses by Hamas, arguing that their response suggests Palestinian lives only seem to matter when Jewish Israelis are involved.

On policy discussions concerning Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that there will be no reconstruction in Gaza, unless there is first demilitarization. He noted ongoing discussions with American friends, acknowledging that while they sometimes see eye to eye, they also have disagreements. The Prime Minister emphasized his commitment to prioritizing Israel's interests in these discussions. In a diplomatic exchange, Israel's foreign ministry and US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee have sharply criticized Britain's foreign secretary Ed Miliband. Miliband had made remarks about conditions in Gaza, speaking of stories he was told regarding blocked medicines and children dying. Israel's foreign ministry responded on X, accusing him of spreading false information and stating that no medicines are being blocked. With 22,500 tons of medical supplies having entered Gaza since the ceasefire began and Gaza's leaving for treatment, US ambassador Huckabee supported the foreign ministry stating, the Brits have lost it.
