Welcome everybody to AfterDark with Robin Andrew in the book of America Out Louds. I am a radio channel along with streaming on Spotify's Stitcher. Apple Podcast Pandora, wherever you're listening to podcasts, please be sure to follow the America Out Loud Podcast Network. We're so excited for you guys to be joining us tonight, hope you're all having a great week. I hope you're enjoying some good weather out there here in the Midwest, so it can be a rainy week, but warmer temperatures. What's it like out there in the big apple if we ever see any improvements, Rob? Well, it's the snow has stopped, but it's cold, still cold. Yeah. 20 degrees yet. Wow, usually here in Illinois, it seems like we've got it worse than you do, but not this year. Not the past month or so.

It seems like you guys have gotten a lot worse, it's kind of an early winter for us here in Illinois. I guess it all missed us and went to the east coast, but wherever you're located, we hope that the good weather is coming your way. It's been a long winter, I'm sure no matter where you're at, we're ready for the spring, the summer. See those beautiful green trees come back and so much more. Well, we've obviously got a lot to talk about tonight. We've got the, I don't know if you want to call it a war, but the entanglement in Iran with Israel and the United States taking military action against Iran, obviously anytime you go to war, something that gets people very emotionally attached. So you see a lot of split opinions on this war early on. You see people who are very excited for the war, like Mark 11's and John Bolton.

People like that, but also some of Trump's most loyal supporters are excited for the war to be finally dealing with Iran. Then you've got some, the Democrats who obviously aren't going to like anything President Trump does. Then you've got a pie of President Trump's base, the minority, perhaps, that are against the war and aren't a fan of what could come out of it, maybe the danger for Republicans in the midterms, the financial things, the distraction from putting America first. I think those are some of the concerns people are voicing, certainly myself, but let's not overreact. A lot of people myself included overreacted last year when President Trump owned Iran's nuclear sites and I was worried that it would lead to a larger entanglement.

Perhaps this is it, at least four or five soldiers have been killed so far, but hopefully that's the end of it. Obviously, every American life is precious and we pray for all of them in their family, but hopefully not much more comes because to be honest with you, Rob, I think if this war prolongs, it's going to get very bad the midterms for Republicans because early polling shows that the wars unpopular overall, because like I said, Democrats, what 90% are against it, Republicans, like I said, I think it's still the minority who disapprove, but it's still a large portion of Trump's base, certainly a portion of them that you still need to get out and vote, and we always encourage everyone to get out and vote Republican, like I say, voting for the radical left or not voting at all is voting for killing babies, voting

for higher taxes, voting for men and women's restrooms. You can go down the whole list of why you don't ever want to vote for the Democrats. But I think it's fair to raise concerns. I know people, like I said, or gets people very emotionally attached, so people get upset maybe by both opinions, whatever you may have, but let's sit back and see what happens President Trump so far has never led America into any major military conflicts where we've had to put a lot of boots on the ground. So I think a lot of people are jumping the gun, let's just see what happens. I agree, Andrew, when I think all of our listeners for tuning in tonight, Heather and I, we spoke about this last night, when we were celebrating Purl, this is the holiday for Purl and for Jews. It's also the month of Ramadan for a rest from Muslims.

And one of the things that she shared with her listeners that I find interesting is that a thousand years ago in Persia, there were Jews who were living there. There are some Persian Jews, Persia is now modern day Iran, that the Persians actually liberated or saved the lives of the Jews. If you all remember this story in the Bible, Queen Esther, she was married to a king, she told the king that she was Jewish and the king, I'm not going to try to pronounce his name as Heather did last night, had ordered a decree to kill all the Jews. And this one person who was a prophet and not went to her and said, you've got to tell your husband that you're Jewish so that he won't kill your people. Initially she said, I'm not doing it, I can't do it. He said, well, they're going to kill your people, the Jewish people. You know, always we've got to blame the Jews.

And I think she said that something was happening in the country and blame the Jews for it. So she finally said, okay, I will go to the king. And there is actually a play titled, take me to the king and it deals with them. So she went in and she professed to the king that she's Jewish and that he shouldn't kill her people. Well, she didn't know how this was going to end up, but because he loved her, he said, I am not going to kill the Jewish people. Now, I would encourage you all to go and listen to that podcast when it drops because Heather was more detailed and she gave her thoughts as to why the king did not kill the Jewish people. And because he was in love with her, but you've got to listen to it. It's a great story. But I say that to say some thousand years later, look at what's happening.

It's almost as if though a favor is being returned with the Jewish people, of course, with American assistance, freeing the Persians, liberating the Persians from this tyrannical regime, this fanatical dictator that Democrats, at one point, up until the liberation claimed it. They didn't like dictators because you know, they were calling Trump a dictator. So we have a dictator who's been killed to free the people, to liberate women. And now all at once, they want to question it. Now, when you look at history for 50, 50 plus years, almost, we've been dealing with Iran, starting with the Iran hostage crisis, 1444 days, fast forward, the hostages were freed,

but since then, up until now, Iran has been the cheap instigator of terrorist activity around the globe, not just the Middle East, funding his bala, funding Hamas, funding ISIS. If you were a terrorist, look no further, because Iran is going to support you. Iran is about the size I was doing some research earlier, it's to help largest Iran, it's rather large, it's an estimation is that it would reach from DC all the way to Texas, that's how large it is. So when you, when I think of Iran, I'm thinking it's some backwards country like Afghanistan or Iraq as much as I could be because Iraq wasn't that way some years ago, but it's not. I ran at one point, was extremely forward thinking, I don't want to say westernized,

it was in the Middle East, but it was the democracies under the Shah. And then there was a coup, they kicked the Shah out, the king out, and they became this like strict religious country. A rivalry to Saudi Arabia, now they're not, they're under the Islam, they're Muslims, but a different set, a more stringent, they don't like the Saudis, the Saudis don't like them, they don't like Qatar or Kuwait, they did not like Iraq, because remember there was a war between Iraq and Iran that lasted 12 years, with Iran trying to move in on Iraq and you know what, the United States stepped in and we helped Iraq. Hence we got bin Laden, we actually, and saw them who's saying, we actually stepped in and we, and we helped Iraq, believe it or not, see this is a history that a lot of

people are completely unaware of. They had a 12 year war with Iran trying to take over, Iran has tried to take over Saudi Arabia, look it up, do the history. They envied Saudi Arabia for having Mecca, they like, nope, we don't want Mecca there, we want to move it here. So Saudi Arabia has not liked Iran, why does this kept? Not showing all their hands, none of the Muslim countries in that region like the Iranians, because they know how crazy they are, that they're terrorists, they're evil. No, that's not to say that Saudi Arabia, I mean when you look at their approach with women, might as a whole lot better than the Iranians, who don't like homosexuals, who don't like gays, who want to keep women in the burkas, these are the people that Democrats are, are supported. But as I mentioned, go back, look at history, look at all of the attacks that they have done against America since 1979, the Iranian Revolution, we have 79, 1980, we had an early

post-revolutionary period. In April of 1983, in Iran, back, Islamist Jihad, for cursor to Hisbala, carried out a suicide car bombing at a U.S. Embassy in Barut, October 83, Iran, back to Hisbala, conducted a truck bombing of a U.S. Marine barracks in Barut, killing 241 U.S. service members, 220 Marines and 21 others. September 84, Hisbala bombed the U.S. Embassy and next in Barut, killing 23, including two Americans. March 1984, Iran, back, Islamic Jihad, kidnapped and later killed a CIA station chief, William Buckley in Barut. He died in captivity in 1985 after being tortured. 1983, Hisbala bombed the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait city, no American facilities, we reported. In 1990, June 1996, Iran linked Hisbala, El Hijaz bombed Kuwait towers in Saudi Arabia, many of you are probably familiar with that.

Bill Clinton was the president and we did absolutely nothing. And many of these instances I'm talking to, I'm, that I'm siding out, we did absolutely nothing. We just looked and we said, you better stop. 2000, 2010, Iraq, border proxy actions, 2003, 2011, Iran, that Shia militias supported by the IRGC, that's their military arm, conducted attacks, killing over 600 U.S. service members in Iraq. 2019, President escalation involvement, a direct and proxy action, Iran shot down a U.S. surveillance drone, accused the attacks on all tanks in the Gulf. January 2020, in retaliation for the U.S. killing, the IRGC quads, former commander Kusum Salmani. Remember that guy? Trump took him out when the president of China was here at Mar-a-Lago and he said, oh, by the way, we're sharing your chocolate cake and I just took this guy out and the media was living. Oh, how could you do this? He was a stoop, he was a scarlet, he was a this, he was that.

All those years before, Iran backed proxies, attacked American interest. And what did we say? We said back and we looked and we grimced and we said, never again, you better stop, you better do this and I run, oh, we think about it, we're going to think about it, remember this summer, oh, we're going to think about it, we're not enriching uranium and we're not doing this and then we had October 7th in Israel, constantly saying, you need to stop doing what you're doing, you need to work with us, okay? And then Operation Midnight hammer took place June 22nd, 2025, many people on the left and some of the right clutching their pearls, oh my God, we're going to get involved in a war, always another war, oh my God, what are we going to do? Oh no, many of them failed to look at the Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Congress, only Congress can authorize war, only Congress.

So what we're doing right now with Iran is a conflict, that being said, Iran is at war with us, not only us Andrew, they're at war with all the other countries there, all the other Middle Eastern countries, they're Arab brothers, they're at war with them because why would they attack them, they haven't done anything, I can see if they were attacking us, but why are they attacking Dubai, why are they attacking Saudi Arabia, why are they bombing hotels in Dubai, they're hoping that the Arab world will turn against Israel, it started bombing Israel, but I guess they forgot about the Abraham Accord, I guess they forgot that in 2016, the first stop Trump made was Saudi Arabia and that he went onto some of the other Arab countries, when he came back into office in 2024, where was it first stop, not a European country, to all the lefties out there that enjoy calling Trump a racist, he didn't go to a European country, what did he go, he went to a Arab

country, non-white country, even then he saw the plan, he's working behind the scenes, creating more allies, and he even said, why do we need, why are we always dependent up on Europe, they're always letting us down, we need to build, create other allies, but you know what, the media missed it, they missed it completely, they missed what he was doing, they couldn't see beyond the heat that they had for this man, but these are the same people who look at Iran, they say, oh, Iran is always doing this, how dare I ran, talk is cheap, back this summer Trump said, give me your time to get it together, we're telling you what we want you to do, you better do it, then you have the same people on the left the media, oh well, you know, Trump is saying all this here, he's going to lose all credibility if he doesn't do anything, it's going to lose credibility, and then the moment he acts

they're clutching their pearls, he's not the right to do this, and how dare he, it's going to be a little protected, it's going to be, wait a minute, you guys just said if he didn't do anything, it was going to look bad upon him, then once he act, then he'll be like, oh, no, why did he do this? He's not a coward, he's not a coward, he's not Bill Clinton, he's not Barack Obama, Barack Obama with his life, he's a war, he's a war monger, that's what he has been this term in my mind, I mean, it's just been one conflict after another, talking about taking over this place, this place, it's like let's talk about America, we are so sick of these Middle Eastern conflicts, let's just leave it alone, who cares about Israel, who cares about Iran, I don't care about any of them, and I don't care, yeah, it's like people are sick of this, that he won on the America first message, and now the Democrats are going to steal that message in 2026, and we know they're not telling the truth, but they're going to say that they're anti-war, they're not going

to put Americans at war, so they're basically going to steal the America first message at one trump, the presidency three times, and that's certainly what I voted for was to put America first, to end all these foreign entanglements, to stop giving foreign aid, to stop being the world police, America is sick and tired of that, and that's why 65% of Americans don't approve of this war, we'll be back with more after dark, with Robin Andrew on America Out Louds, I heard Radio Channel. As I was saying before we went to commercial break, I was certainly not hoping for many foreign entanglements, this administration, certainly in the Middle East.

President Trump has done a great job domestically, and it closed the border, deported illegal, cut taxes, filled most of his campaign promises already domestically, but so many of us just want to keep winning here at home, and we're tired of these Middle Eastern and foreign conflicts, and I think it's going to be deeply unpopular with the American people, and unless this ends very quickly, which as I said at the beginning of the show, let's wait and see, and then hopefully we're not involved in any more entanglements for a while. We can recover by the midterms, but as of now, this would be a disaster because the longer this war goes on, or this entanglement goes on, this conflict, the worse it's going to be because the media is going to keep picking up on it, and as I said, you're at risk of getting the Democrats of stealing the America first anti-war message that President

Trump won with when you're being so militant. Well, what I will say is, time flies, when it took George Bush nine months to take out Saddam Husay, Barack Obama nine years for Bin Laden, three hours for Trump and Maduro, two hours for the tyrannical leader of Iran. As far as the midterms, it's anyone's guess as to what will happen. We could have the greatest economy not go in and take out this tyrannical leader and still lose the midterms because history shows us that the president in power always loses the midterms. So it's almost like a gamble, but Trump is doing what no other president would do. I'll be it. It's not popular. Every right to ask the questions as to how long it's going to be and what's going on here. We can do it. That's fine because we're not group think, but when we say America first, unless we secure our parameter, we can forget about America first.

No one's going to attack us. I mean, we're the strongest, largest military in the world. Our military budget is multiple times that of any other country. No one's going to attack us on our home soil. The only place this we're getting attacked is our military bases in the Middle East that we don't belong at the first place. What happened on 9-11? That was an attack from letting foreigners here. Okay. What happened just this past weekend? That was an attack from letting foreigners come into our country. So we were attacked by foreigners. Doesn't matter if we were still attacked. That we allowed into our country, though, if they were never been allowed into our country. Well, that's what we need to do is work on getting rid of them, not pissing them off and attacking us. Yeah. Yeah, but we're trying to do that. Setting off the sleeper cells. There you go. That's not a good idea is to set off the sleeper cells. But we can. We need to do it. We can live here. Not live here. Not live here. But a lot of people are living here because what is the first thing they'll say, oh my

god, now that we're doing this, now the sleeper cells, the sleeper cells are already here. They're already here. It doesn't matter. They're going to attack. They're going to attack before they attack. Yeah, but we want to know who they are. We don't like the way to get bored of them all. So, but, but, but that's still living in fear. You say that it's not living in fear, back to different because we're saying, well, we need to let Iran keep doing what they're doing. What do we think was going to happen if we had this huge military build up? We're just going to just sit there. We're always going to be at risk, but getting attacked. Exactly. So you have to eradicate the problem or the illegal is coming in. But attacking people in a foreign country isn't going to solve anything here. Yes, it will. No, it won't. No, it won't. Because you are getting rid of the threat, I gave a list of the threat is Islam. Are you going to eliminate Islam? The threat of the terror of the Middle East, their phone call, Rob, it has been, oh, I agree. But, you know, it's never going to change. I ran into it and up with more radical leadership.

It's just going to be a vacuum, but you can inoculate the threat. We have dealt with this threat for 50 years almost. And I gave a list of things that they barely hit, Israel, you think it could hit us? I mean, come on. But this is a new age. We have cyber warfare as your country, as you admit, yeah, but look at what they're doing now. They're managed to put up a good fight so far. Not from what I've seen. Yeah, but it's setting off random missiles wherever they can fire because they can't get Israel. But. They're attacking our allies. They're attacking Saudi Arabia, they're attacking Kuwait because we attack them first. Yeah, but because they're trying to never attack them, they wouldn't be attacking them right now. I mean, can you blame them? If someone gets attacked, they're going to attack because they know that they're not their allies. Because they know that we have military bases, what happened on October 7th? What happened on October 7th? Are they attack Israel? Because they don't. These are our allies. Well, I don't care about Israel. Uh-huh.

And I just mentioned that the other bases at the attack, what if they attack those bases are bases? Because we've got our military in the Middle East and they should never be there in the first place. Yeah, but we spent $80 trillion in the Middle East. This is President Trump's own words and we've got nothing. Yeah, but it has nothing to do with them. If we, and this is what I think a lot of people feel to realize, you know, this one, it's almost going down isolationism. If we were to pull out and leave a vacuum that's there, some other power steps and like China, like Russia, and then they're ruling things. We look at what Trump has done methodically. He went into Venezuela, cutting off the oil from China. A lot of people are completely unaware of China's move and our backyard, giving these countries all of these loans and making all deals with them. So we've now managed to cut that off. Now Iran is saying, oh, man, I was trying to say, oh, we still have Iran. Okay, now we're going in there. Now what will they do? They're already trying to go into Africa and Africa is trying to kick them out of there. They're already trying to go into the Caribbean's and we knew this, but no one was saying anything

about it. Now I've talked about this on this show dozens of times that we need to look at what's happening in the Caribbean's because China is moving in. I'll give you a loan. You do this for us. But now we're stopping them. Obama knew it, Biden knew it, but they played it down. Trump has been talking about this for 30 years. Look at what happened when he came into office and we found out that, oh my God, look of all of our, what is it, our medicine and our biotics is in China. A lot of people are completely unaware of it when COVID came up and hit. What were we doing? Oh, we're getting the cure from China. We're getting mass from China. From China. They're the ones who gave us this and these politicians knew it all along and we just happy go like it. Oh, this is okay. We're just going to stay here. We're going to stay in our own little world. And we're going to do our own little thing. You can't do it. It doesn't work that way. Unfortunately, unless you assert yourself and show that way to met it. The buck stops here. They're going to bully you and they're going to push you over. And that's one of the main reasons Trump won in Greenland.

That's one of the main reasons he's like, we need to take back the Panama Canal because he saw all these shifting ships going in and out. And if China were to go in and say, okay, we're going to block this. You can't do this. We're asked out. Look at bricks. A lot of people are completely unaware of bricks and what China was doing with bricks with India, Russia. And then trying to get South American countries to go in also to de-value the dollar to say, we're not going to trade with you unless you trade with bricks. Had that happened, we would have been, it would have been a complete disaster by knew about it, Obama knew about it. They said, not that, well, what did Obama do? Oh, well, we're going to give the Iranian money, we're going to give them like palace money so they can continue doing what they're doing. When you have allies, when they call, you have to answer. We're the biggest, the biggest superpower here in the Western Hemisphere. You look at the Monroe doctor and say that we need to control our own hemisphere as opposed to Europe because Europe was coming in and trying to meddle with the South American, South America and Central America.

And we said, no, don't want that. Trump has the foresight to look at this and say, no, we need to control it. Because when shit hits the fan, we've got to make sure that we can stand on our own. But no one else was saying this and everyone else was looking at China and saying, oh, wow, China is so great. And we're making all of our stuff there and Apple is there and Trump comes into office and say, no, this has got to stop. This makes no sense. So it's more than just going in and telling them, this is what we're going to do. It's more than just going in and say, well, this is America first and we're only going to do this. Who's going to invest in our country? Who's going to do any of this stuff? Yes, we would like to just say we're here and you're there, but it doesn't work that way. Just doesn't work that way because the moment shit hits the fan, what are people going to do? We're going to look for the United States for the United States to stand up and it won't always be a Trump who's an office, it won't always be Trump who's an office. Democrats will eventually go to office, but being an office and if you say too bad, look

at Biden, look at what they were doing, selling us off to other countries. Would you prefer that? Or do we want to show that we want to show these countries that, look, this is America and you don't want to F-A-F-O with us. I would prefer our troops not get killed and getting that happen. It's unfortunate. It is, it's, it comes with the children. And spend billions of dollars on these foreign countries. I read a couple weeks ago, we're spending money on Gaza. What the hell? I mean, that is so senseless. Israel blows it up and we pay to rebuild it. That is ridiculous. I just don't understand this at all, Rob. Well, geopolitics, again, I go back to geopolitics and asserting yourself and showing that you are the superpower. It comes with the price. Americans are struggling here. That money could be put to such better use. I mean, the mental health crisis here is insane.

The homelessness, the drugs. I mean, there's so many things we need to tackle here. Yeah. But where is it happening in blue states? Yeah, definitely. In blue states and we're giving them money themselves. And blue cities and we're giving them money and what are they doing? They're giving it to people like Somalians. I mean, it just goes back to what I'm saying. How did the Somalis get here under Bill Clinton? Because Bill Clinton saw it need, because their country was not right. Now we're going to get a bunch of Iranians and next time we get a Democrat. Well, I don't know about getting the Iranians here. I think that they were preferring in Persia because Persia, as I mentioned, was a great place, just like Libya, just like Peru, just a lot of these places were just as modernized as America. But then they failed to these crazy dictators and no one stood up to say, hey, we've got your back. To me, the trick is to not let any more in to deport the ones that you can and just cut your losses there. I mean, the ones that are already here or here, we can try, we can try and deport

as many as you can, but we can stop more from coming in. Yeah, but that's the only way that they're going to do anything is if they get into our country. Yeah, but they're here. I'm sorry. We just can't let any, well, they're already here. We can't let any more in. That's the many objective. Well, they're going to not what's happening thousands of miles away. Well, not only that foreign countries that have no impact on us, not only that, but they're here and they become, we have these ingrown radicals that become radicalized, they come here born here. And remember, we spoke to you think we're going to stop it, you know, Islamic radical occasion. I mean, this is always going to be a problem with them getting radicalized. We won't be able to stop it, but we can't put a hope, we can put a dead end on it. I doubt it. That's the issue. I think we can't because it wasn't, it wasn't always like this.

And what we're dealing with now again is seeing that if a vacuum is created without a doubt, you have China who doesn't get two hoots about anybody, but themselves who would go in and fill that vacuum. And when I look at what the Donald doctrine has done in pretty much cutting the oil spigot off from China in Venezuela, because they were getting, I don't know if people realize how much oil they were getting from Venezuela in our oil prices are going up again as well. Well, well, that's going to happen temporarily, okay? But cutting the spigot off from them there and now from Iran. So now they're looking at Russia. And we know that it's only a matter of time before Cuba collapses. I'm hearing that China was sending an envoy of oil to help Cuba out. I mean, it's, if you looking at it, people are saying, okay, what is the end game?

What's going to happen here? Involved in foreign affairs. But it's more than that when you look at the big picture. Because as I mentioned, Trump will not always be an office. We won't always have a Republican. And you look at how we fail on the world stage under George Bush. Republicans are the party of George Bush. I mean, a lot of us were hoping that it was a new Republican party with President Trump. We don't like this old Republican war mongers that send us to war. You say, but you say war monger. What do you mean by war monger? What has Trump done? He was successful in Venezuela. And now we're in Iran and hopeful we'll be successful there. George Bush failed in Iraq and he failed in Afghanistan. I came in and tried to clean up Afghanistan and he failed. Obama failed with Syria and with Crimea. I was just correcting you because you said that we won't always have a Republican. Why should we trust the Republicans in the Middle East when they failed us for, you know, George Bush's entire term?

Well, I'll tell you why because Trump is cleaning up the mess that they left behind. No one has ever cleaned it up. No one has ever cleaned up. But then they'll make a new mess. Well, hopefully it'll be some time before they make a new mess. And when people see that, wait a minute, this can be done because you'd like to think about it for the past four decades. People have looked at Iran and assumed, I guess, that nothing could happen. Different presidents coming in, cow-towing. Iran have been attacking us, attacking our embassies, attacking our allies, and nothing was done. Trump has gone in and he's doing something. He gave them a timetable and he said, okay, here's your timetable. And what happened when he gave the timetable? People jeered at that. Well, if he doesn't do anything, he's going to look really bad. Then the moment he does something, oh my god, no, he's doing something. So we don't know what's going to happen. It can go south, it can go north, or we're hoping with his thought process that is going to go north and it will be good. It's hard to imagine because for four decades, again, four decades, Iran has been a foreign

and everyone's side. They're doing all these terrorist activity, giving them money. And when I think about Iran, I never viewed them as being like some modern, capable country I viewed them as being an Afghanistan, but no, they're more than Afghanistan. I mean, look at what they're able to do and look at the different terrorist groups that they've been funded. So it remains to be seen because we've never had it for four decades. The world has been gending to Iran and its tyrannical, radical terrorist that they've been attacking all over the world. Look at what they did and what was it, Iraq and Afghanistan, Afghanistan, they all Iran moves in. Iran is the foreign, the player in all of this. Now hopefully, Trump has come in and he has removed it. It remains to be seen what will happen, but we can look at how smooth it went in Venezuela.

Hopefully the same thing, completely different. Iran is not Venezuela and neither is Iran, Afghanistan or Iraq, Andrew. Yeah, I just want to point out also, you mentioned 9-11 earlier, 15 of the 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, two of them were from Abu Dhabi, one was from Egypt, one was from Lebanon, none were from Iran. And by Iran. Yeah, but they came from these countries that now are supposed to allies that we never went to war with when they were the ones that produced the hijackers. I'm going back to the last half of the show. We're just having a spirited debate. I guess you probably know by now that I am down with this conflict. If you refer into it as a conflict, Andrew keeps saying a war, and I'm like, no, it's a conflict. Iran is at war with us and their brother in the Middle East, but this is a conflict as far as I'm concerned because only Congress can declare war, and I know that the Democrats and their talking heads, their political action committee, the media, they keep saying war because they want that in the lexicon so that people will think, oh, we're at war, we're at war, this is a war, but we're not at war. And you think back when Barack Obama attacked Libya and no one called it a war.

And even when it was questioned by the media, if he needed approval from Congress to attack Libya and the then speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi said, absolutely not. He doesn't need us. So why now are they saying that we need Congress, Trump needs Congress approval? And you have congressmen throwing this out there because they know that this will, as you said, Andrew, this people get emotional. They get attached to this when they hear the word war, and rightfully so because people will die. We've had Julie Colonel Julie Hall on a show and she talked about the war. When you go to war, you go to kill. So when I hear Secretary of War saying that, he hex that, he's like, we will kill you, kill, kill. That's what war is about. You're not going in to play. You're going in as they say, to kill. So this conflict that we're in, we're trying to take out all of their artillery and whatnot and my god, do they ever have it? I mean, that's one thing I will admit, which is kind of getting under my skin.

I'm like, when will it stop? Let's go in and put the mother of all bombs on them and just obliterate all their artillery or whatever they have. We've already sunk all of their ships. What more do these people have? And that just shows you that this isn't Iraq. This isn't Afghanistan. And you know, I wouldn't it all be surprise, Andrew, if some of the weaponry that they're using is ours. Because remember, Biden left Afghanistan with this tail between his legs and left all of our weaponry there. And Iran went in and confiscated a lot of it. So I wouldn't it all be surprised if they're using our artillery against us. But I mean, it's like non-stop there attacking this one. And look, they've just replenished his ballas in Libya. Their weaponry to attack Israel. The hope by Iran was for all of the Arab countries to rise up and attack Israel.

That was their hope. But we see now the king of Saudi Arabia is saying, nope, you guys are out of line. You're attacking us. It's not right. Kuwait is saying the same thing. Qatar. The allies, if they claim to be, we know how shady they are. But you look at how this is being played out. And Iran gambled incorrectly thinking that they would listen or get a response from the other Arab countries because that has happened in the past. But the other thing to remember is that although New Jersey, I mean, not New Jersey, but you're going to make an analogy, Israel is the size of New Jersey. They're able, if they were attacked by all of the Arab countries, they would be able to hold them off or good, I think I read, read to five years, by themselves.

That's just incredible. I mean, you look at what they're doing with Iran now. So hopefully this will end soon. I know Trump had said, it could be four weeks, and I'm thinking, what the heck, what have they got this going to take four weeks if we bombed everything? And Trump is also saying the attack of all attacks is yet to come. So what more is there? Is there to take out? And where are all these launching pads that they're able to launch against our interest in the Arab world as well as Israel? Can't you just get it on the site and just get rid of it? And we've also learned that China had provided Iran with some weaponry. So they're probably using that as well.

But I do find it interesting, Andrew, that we were able to take out 40 members of their government, their top government officials. And that was done because they did the attack during the day, I'm not at night, but it's usually, you know, we only attack wars take place at night. And there was a surprise attack that they didn't realize was happening. So that buildup that I started taking place last year up until now with all the ships and the Siemens, you would think that Iran would have saw this and said, oh, we better back off, we better stop. But again, they took a gamble thinking, oh, we're going to have another meeting and another meeting. Oh, we're close. We're close. And they knew they worked from 1979 up until 2026. Look at how long that has been. We have been dealing with these people saying, do this, do that, do this.

I was a kid and I remember wanting to watch Saturday morning cartoons and they would come on and take off cartoons and say, oh, my God, there's a crisis. And I'm like, what? I didn't understand it, but I remembered as so many other people at my age, remember the exact same thing. What was happening? And now, years later, look at where we are. Four decades and finally, we cut the head off the snake. But the body of the snake is still moving and that is a reason why they're able to continue launching these attacks against Israel and the other surrounding Arab countries that are there. And it will probably continue until they've used up all of their artillery. And it seems as though they've got a lot, they've got a lot. And that's the reason why they keep going and doing what they're doing.

So let me see here, something else that gets to me, I don't know if you've heard this when Andrew is the, hold on, I'm just looking at my notes here. Oh, yeah, a war of choice, but this is a war of choice that we chose this. It's not a war, like I mentioned, it's a conflict, Iran is a war with us, with Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, but we're not at war with Iran, it's a conflict. But we keep hearing that during the news cycle, words that they're trying to get embedded in our heads to make us emotional to say, oh, this is my choice, this is my choice. Whatever happens, it was my choice, we could have avoided this, this is my choice.

Four decades, four decades, there's a choice for four decades, maybe it was a choice for Iran, but four decades, this moment has been in the making for four decades. And then I heard someone say, well, how do we know that they were going to, what was it, they had weapons of mass destruction, well, that was for Iraq, where they had, that they would build the enriching for nuclear weapons. Well, let's look back and back, like I said in June, when we attacked, and we blew it up. The media came out and said, what are we doing? There's nothing there. There's nothing there. Even when we attacked, they said there's nothing there. And look at how carefully and skillfully they changed what they were saying. They went from, there's nothing there. Why did we attack them? To all you missed, it's still there. You missed it. Wait a minute. I thought you said there was nothing there.

So if there was nothing there, how did we miss? I'm surprised they never just bought one from North Korea. They what? They never just bought like a nuke from North Korea. Hmm, does North Korea have a nuke? I thought they, dude, they have a pretty impressive military arsenal. Do they have anything to carry the nuke on? Yeah. Yeah, good point. Well, see, and I'm glad you mentioned that because those are things that we, it goes back to what you're saying in the opening, when they hear war become emotional and I get it because you're thinking about death. But then when you should really start to think about it and say, wait a minute, okay. Do they have the facilities to carry such a bomb? Yeah. Yeah, in North Korea, possesses nuclear weapons, the democratic people's Republic of Korea is widely, widely recognized, I'm having a hard time spitting anything out tonight by intelligence

agencies, think tanks and international observers as a nuclear arm state. And do they have anything to carry it on to put it on? To transport it. Now, they can roll it across to South Korea, it calls damage, but I mean, but those, again, those are things that you have to think about. I mean, truth be told, and again, when I think of Iran, I never viewed Iran as like what they're doing right now, putting up this little skirmish, I didn't foresee this because I viewed when I thought Iran, I thought Iraq, I thought Afghanistan. But clearly, it's not Iraq and it's not Afghanistan. I mean, for them to be funding terrorist activity for the past four decades, it's something completely different. But see, that's the way it was in a two-hours to make it seem as though that, oh my God, you know, there. And when you look at pictures prior to the commanding taking over, it was like Paris, westernized,

and then it all changed. So it begs the question, you know, who's going to rise up? Now I have my reservations about the guy who's here in America, the Shah, the king. I think the Trump administration have their reservations about him also, because if you think back when we put the first bomb on them back in June, he kept saying, go for it. You need to keep going. Keep going. Because they're weak. They're weak. They're weak. They're fall. Because he wanted to come into power. I don't know if him coming into power would be a good thing. I don't even know if the people want him to come back into power. Because if he wanted to come back into power, you would think he would already have people on the grounds that would say, okay, they're out, why don't you come back in? But it's not happening. He's still here on news stations talking about coming into power. Like, don't you have anybody you can connect with?

How about we want you there and then it will become the same thing? Or you'll become just as tyrannical. You won't be the strict religious ideal log, but you're way of thinking because you've been out of there for so long. Why would we want you there? And I think this one of the things that the Trump administration is looking at, the same way would Venezuela. You look at the opposition leader. Many people felt that she should go in and step into power and become the president. Did not happen because there was something there from our intel that was telling us. Nope. And remember when when Venezuela failed, I came on, I told you guys that I was speaking with Venezuelians about it. And the consensus was they did not feel that she was strong enough. The woman who's there now didn't like her, but she would get, she got the respect of the people. And it didn't seem as though this administration was anointing someone there. So while they didn't, they don't like the current woman who was the vice president, they

felt more comfortable than the opposition leader because of the opposition leader command. They probably probably wrote another issue. They probably would have storm right in over through the government, staged a coup, and they would be back to where we are now. But the vice president who's there, I guess the Trump administration spoke with her and said, look, are you going to play ball the right way? And from what we're seeing, things seem to be even steven. There are no issues. Iran is a different story because we don't know who could rise up. Trump said that he had an idea. They probably had immense areas on the ground, Andrew, working behind the scenes to find someone who would work with them. But whoever that person is, that person has not stood up and probably rightfully so because if they did, the military would probably take them out because they're still doing their own thing. I'm sure some of you are saying, well, how is a military still functioning if they got rid

of the supreme leader? Well, from what I'm hearing is that this was already predestined that if this guy were to go down, they already had their marching orders as to what they needed to do. And you know, a lot of times, a lot of these instances of military is functioning on its own. They have their own little direction as to what they want to do and at any given moment they can overthrow the government and then take control, unlike the United States, our military doesn't operate that way. So that's how they're able to continue doing what they're doing and lobbying these attacks at Israel and the other countries that are in Saudi Arabia. So the way this is playing out, it will be interesting to see what will happen after let's say two weeks from now, how this will play out. If people will take control of their country and take it to the next level, or even if

the Shah will go back, he hasn't gone back home, he's still here as I mentioned. What is he waiting for? He's waiting for us, a clean path to go back in and just to address one other issue looking at, you know, the European countries, we know they can't fight. It wasn't for us, they would all probably be speaking German and you saw when Trump was saying that we're going to go in and take Greenland and they all claim to have sent soldiers to protect them, it's like, are you serious? Little Ragtag team, give me a break. I mean, come on, I mean, they sent this little Ragtag team that was only there for a week and then they left, it's like, well, that's just not going to get it. That's just not going to get it. So again, what happens if I'm here on out?

I don't know, Rob, that night gear and the swords are pretty scary that the British British like to wear over there. Starmer, I can't see Starmer putting up a fight, not at all, not at all. He's probably afraid of his shadow, Andrew. Yeah, Europe is definitely the laughing stock. I guess we still have something going on in Ukraine. We don't hear much about that anymore. I mean, we haven't heard about it for years, but we're told there's still a war going on there. At least we've stopped being the Linsky's Piggy Bank. I mean, that was ridiculous during the Biden administration. Every time Zelinsky would come over and visit, you know billions of taxpayer dollars. We're going to be going to Ukraine. One way or another, they're going to be funneled there. And at least we've cut the spick it off for the most part to Ukraine and Zelinsky.

You guys, thanks for joining us tonight to this spirited debate on After Dark with Rob and Andrew. Send all your complaints to the, at the real Rob X on Twitter, I'm just joking.
