Is SmackDown getting better? That's the question. Following SummerSlam, SmackDOwn has been much better but can we finally say they are good again on Friday night? Not quite. 

CM Punk and Kevin Owens tear into each other tonight, one week before their major WWE Championship match in Toronto, as they reference everything from Ring of Honor 20 years again, and Kevin Owens' friends in AEW. Also, Chelsea Green was about to be stripped of the WWE Women';s Championship until she wasn't in one of the best opening segments on SmackDown all year. And Jacy Jane capture the Women's United States Championship for her first major singles title on the WWE Main Roster. 

Plus, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton try to redo WrestleMania season all over again.
