He wasn't this go around So the one win that you have and you needed extra innings and he wasn't even great But best friend of the show Peyton Toli pitched that game on Monday that game you won the other four You lost but It wasn't your guys like I feel like as long as sunny gray Peyton Toli Ranger Suarez in some order that'd be my order But in some order if they're healthy and lined up for the playoffs Then I'm not gonna freak out about this stretch where you gave up a ton of runs And it was a lot of guys that like immediately got sent down or are not gonna be pitching in those same roles So I think that's fair I am a little worried about their foot being off the accelerator So like this again, I feel like we're back in the last losing streak where I'm going I'm not worried about them missing the playoffs. I'm not worried about them falling flat on their faces I mean they've done it before I mean they did it in 2011

6:11So to say it can't mathematically happen it can yeah, but there's still six up on the Rangers for a playoff spot They are they're gonna have up on the guardians for the third wild card And they're not catching the Yankees anytime soon. So I think they're they're locked in this limbo Where they're not gonna be the first wild card and catch the Yankees. They're not gonna fall out of the playoffs So they're just locked into two and they'll be playing the Yankees in the Bronx in a month So how do you get yourself ready for that? And I think Brezlo illustrated some of this when he was on the Greg Hill show today I mean, he didn't deny that they're in load management mode I mean, he did it when he was asked about it He said maybe and then went on to basically illustrate why they are in load management mode with the team So like Adley Rutchman, he said could have played if it was a playoff game Sure looks like you don't believe it. I don't but that's what he said But he's not cool. They're skipping sunny. Gray for a start They just skipped Jake Bennett for a start last week Wilson-Certius is on the I L not even in the country May or may not be in Paris maybe Maybe you know he needs to be there maybe not to get himself right

7:13But I'm a little worried that They're just going into like Exhibition foot off the accelerator mode heading into October and look there's still three more weeks to sort things out. Maybe they will. But if you're asking me what my big concern is coming out of it, I'm with you. It's not the pictures that they've thrown, although that's frustrating. It's not that the offense has gone into the tank a little bit here, starting in that Yankee series, although Anthony and story have been great since they've gotten in here. It is just what's the focus level? How dialled in are they and how ready are they going to become October? That would be my concern. So 22 games left. So at least there's like the end is in sight. You can kind of see it now at the end. So for them, skipping starts and managing guys and making sure they're healthy. I do think that's the right approach. I know what you're saying. You don't want to go into the playoffs necessarily where you've lost 10 of 12 or 18 of 24 or something like that. You're like, you're really limping in. You want the best of both worlds where you want your team healthy and rested, but also playing a little bit better. Now, one reason for optimism

8:18would be as of right now and things could change. But as of right now, starting tonight, it is going to be Bennett, then Suarez, then Gray, then Toli, then Sandevol, then run it back again. Right. There's no TV. There's still going to be an update runs in that stretch. You'll start to worry. A little bit. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, especially, you know, maybe Sandevol, you kind of look at, you say, whatever, but like the other guys, I think you're going to be relying on come playoff time. I don't know what Jake Bennett's role is going to be. He might even be a starter for you in the playoffs, depending on what Suarez looks like, depending on if Garry crocheting give you anything. So I'm not even ruling him out. I think his next few starts are also important. But that number really should come down just based on who is starting the games for you. Twitch chat seems to think this is a big series, both for the Red Sox, or a revenge series, or with Baltimore. If you can play the Rangers, Orioles and Blue Jays actually are all a game and a half behind Cleveland for the third wild car, which means the Red Sox are six up on them. I mean, look, I'm not going to call it an insignificant series. If you're asking me, do I think the Orioles are going to catch the Red Sox and

9:19get into the playoffs? I don't. No, but it's not an insignificant series. I mean, that's a motivated team you're going against in their building. Right. No, it definitely is. Now, it's one of those things to wear the Red Sox. Now, I know they lost the the series to the Yankees, but they've been doing so well against good teams. Yep. And then not so much against bad teams. And even though the Orioles are fighting for a playoff spot, a good team, like would you call them a good team or not? And kind of this next stretch until you get to that Tampa series. And then you do close with the Cubs, but there's a bunch of series against some pretty bad teams. Now, Baltimore's going for it. And so that at least is going to be a different atmosphere and all that stuff. But yeah, I don't, no, I think they're pretty much locked in. I really do is to where they are. Like you said, they're not going up or probably down, but I guess I don't want them to act like they're locked in. Oh, no, that's fair. Like we can say it, but they think they got in front of me. I mean, I think mathematically they are. And I understand it's human nature to have that settle in. I still don't want you to play that way where you're unmotivated for the next 22 games going into October. I don't know if that's the right way to get you ready for a three game series with the Yankees.
