Life could feel overwhelming, but you don't have to go through it alone. On my podcast, From the Heart with Rachel Brayton, I share openly and vonderably about everything life brings us, and what we can learn by living with our hearts a little bit more open. Every Friday, a new episode brings you a new story with topics on self-care, motherhood, healing, and more. You are enough, just the way you are. This podcast is a reminder of that. Follow and listen to From the Heart with Rachel Brayton, wherever you get your podcasts. Jones and Keith, 1990 slash early 2000s heavy metal, new metal, grunge, alternative pop punk, butt rock, rock bands, bracket. We're going to get you radio head and weezer. That's 512 matchup, right for enough. Oh my God, every year that comes up about 15 minutes from now. Two matchups in the grab bag region. You can vote on number one green day and sublime number 16 seed. Whoo close. I voted for an upset oasis over REM. Matchups available for you again at Jones and Keith will get to the back.

Bottom half rather of the grab bag later on this week, tomorrow. And then by Thursday, we're on to round two. So keep voting at Jones and Keith. Give Keith a follow at Keith 21 at Jones. W E I twitch chat is right. I did. This is one of those songs that I had the lyrics wrong too. My name is Jonas. My name is Jonas Gray. I thought he was in the whale is what he says. That's what I thought that that's what I thought the lyrics are terrible. All the lyrics. Yeah, I don't blame you for that. That's one that I butchered. I don't think I ever stopped to think about it. Yeah, I said, I think I'm Jonas. I'll take him to his word for her. This is me, mego and Arcane. I surprise anybody heard it, but it was, but I didn't say that. And they both were like, what are you talking about? And I'm like, oh, I thought I knew these lyrics. And guess I guess I don't as you can go vote. Meanwhile, you heard Tommy Curran there from NBC Sports Boston. If you missed it, full interview on the Odyssey app. Use the rewind feature, AUDACY, get it on your phone. Free easy, take it with you wherever you go. If Ken Laird's calling to spring training baseball game, easy to drop right in and listen to it. Or you can catch all the Jones and Keith content there.

He says it's AJ Brown or bust, which I think is the right way to frame their plan at wide receiver right now, which I am good with because we were talking about, I don't know if I'm good with it, because I am interested in Brian Thomas. And who knows if he gets traded and Brian Thomas is, you know, people are talking about the jets and the giants are looking in on it. And it might cost you a lot because the or bust part is kind of a killer, right? So if you don't get AJ Brown, then you're like, all right, you're just going to go into the draft. It's a dicey proposition. It really is. And there's no guarantee you get him. So that's why I would like at least one fall back. And that's what pitman couldn't in that guy. Here's the thing. Do you do you think he's an eagle? Do you think he will be a Philadelphia eagle? I don't. Me neither. I don't. Do you think anybody else is going to get him besides the Patriots? Yeah, I wouldn't rule it out. I don't. I kind of think he's an eagle or a patriot. I don't think he's an eagle. So look, the or bust would make it a really bad off season to me. Really bad, especially in the wide receiver room, and especially for your three quarterback, Drake May. Yeah. I'm okay with calling how he rosman's bluff on this. How he rosman, I think is under pressure.

And he's trying to pull off another one of these high wire acts where and he's a great executive. He is. Yeah. But I don't think they want him on their team. And I don't think the owner wants to pay AJ Brown. I think they have to trade him. So call his bluff. I'm okay with playing this game, especially now that. The bills and the Ravens and all these other teams are out. I now feel like Pierce isn't coming here. So you can call your bluff. What is your option? I'd call his. I'm okay with that approach. I don't know if the Niners are ever in. But they probably are going to be out signing Mike Evans. So we'll see. But at least it's the, you're not thinking that Juwan Jennings or Romeo Dobbs is going to come in and be your number one receiver. So like that's the one part of it. We're like, all right. Like that. At least like they should be more aggressive on AJ Brown. And you know, last year they reportedly were aggressive on Chris Godwin didn't get him. And then they ended up with Steph Diggs. So like in this scenario, I don't know who that player would be unless it's Steph Diggs himself, unless that he actually is sort of the prize there at the end or the consolation

prize. But yeah, I think they can wait a little bit longer. But I think if you get into the draft and the draft is over and the Eagles still haven't traded them, they might just keep the guy. They've kept them the last couple of years and it hasn't been going great sort of. I mean, I know they want a Super Bowl, but even that whole year, he's like reading books in the sideline. He doesn't like the quarterback and they kept them then they got to be comfortable letting, you know, Dallas got her current brought up gotter. They got to be comfortable letting him go somewhere else. I don't think they're paying him in the meantime with AJ Brown on the roster. Yeah. I think they were in on Jalen Phillips to a degree. He went to Carolina. Yeah. I think they're, they're kind of being forced out and boxed out on some of their own free agents that they may want to bring back. So you can only do that for so long, but you're right. If it doesn't happen, day one of free agency, meaning officially tomorrow at four o'clock, it's probably going all the way to the draft and how far do you want to call how he roseman's bluff? It is dangerous. But I'd rather wait out AJ Brown than pay dobs, pay Jennings and I like Jennings, pay who else is on that list, Debo Samuel, right, not doing it, six, one, seven, seven, seven,

seven, nine, seven, ninety, three, seven. Let's get to some phone calls. Here we got John in the car. Hello, John. What's going on? What's going on, boys? Oh, John, John, long time no speak. I happened to be in the car while I was driving around and I had to ask, was that rip being winkle that left guys before no, some checking in on what's going on with something that George is the, the, the, uh, grab bags singer of, uh, Abra Kadabra. I think we can rule that out. I don't think so. I think conspiracy theory isn't accurate, but no, it was not a rip fan winkle, John. Have you ever felt like you were living just a B or B plus life? It's so dangerous to live that more dangerous than a B minus or a C plus life because when you're living a B or B plus life, you don't change it. You think it's good enough? Is it? I'm Susie Welch. I host a podcast called Becoming You. I don't think, okay, an A plus life is not available to me, but there is a way.

We are all in the process of becoming ourselves, listen to Becoming You, wherever you get your podcasts. He's been out a while. No, I left that for maybe the next call. Can we, um, can we all agree that, that no matter, my problem is this, you know, a couple of years ago, what it may have to say, I got a bag of cash to burn and he had to jump that back. Burn some cash. Now, Ravel said, well, I can shop at Neiman Marcus if I want to, is there a clearance aisle for broken guards and, yeah, he said, if you want something, he wants something you can buy it. What's the point? Well, the point is, is they never go out and get it unless they can get it at their price. They're right. They're perfectly just like the Red Sox Jones, you know, Soto was 750, we'll offer 700, or we were around it, but we knew we weren't going to get them. It's receiver that, uh, that just signed back an indie for what do you get, 29, the Patriots are 27.

They know what they needed to be to get this guy if they wanted them, they just got in the area within not so usual, they're hunting outside looking at it. So let me have a agree. We talk about the Patriots way, like when the Red Sox do this, we grill them and fry them and get real angry. I think Patriots fans are decently angry at their approach right now. Yeah. What if they pay the freight on age, like I just think it's, it's okay to be unfair. Like if you're angry or angry, but just what if they end up paying the freight on AJ Brown? That's the guy we wanted all along. Yeah. I think the reason we're not upset and a lot of Patriots fans are, I didn't want out of peers. Maybe John wanted out of peers. I didn't want him. I think that's the only name though that was really talked about prior to this week that people did want and then immediately signed and it wasn't here because, you know, I've been making a lot of comparisons like the Red Sox off season versus like the Patriots off season and the Patriots off season is a lot different because they're best free agents. They really only had two where they all do respect the guys like Hooper and stuff like and I don't even think Hawkins is great because these are starting free safety and Jason and

Jason. Yeah. I don't care. Do you care that Tonga's gone? No. You made some money. Right. Exactly. Yeah. I don't care at all that he's gone. No, like so you didn't lose anybody. Yeah. This isn't like, oh, you just lost pregnant. How do you replace them? Even like G Alito? How do you replace them? Like, yeah, that was a little bit different. Ten dollars shake. Good point in the Twitch chat. Didn't they get? I think this year there's potential to spend on a guy like AJ Brown. Yeah. No, but I just think, and I know, hey, we got to talk about it today and you got to feel a certain way about it today. But if they do get AJ Brown, I think it all of a sudden becomes a massive success in a great off season. It's one move, but it's a great off season. If they don't get them, then I'm kind of with everybody else because you can argue that maybe the old line and maybe the D line are slightly better, right? You can argue that current talked about like with Vera Tucker, there's a higher ceiling. He's hurt all the time so I could also knock the floor down. The ceiling's higher with that alignment. But right now, a receiver, you're just way worse. You can't take a thousand yard receiver off the team and not replace them with anybody. Agreed. John is in Rhode Island. Hello, John.

Hey, guys. I love the show. I listen every day. You guys keep talking about not getting to AJ Brown and paying the freight for AJ Brown. Why don't we pivot, take that capital, maybe add a Christian bar more and go after a receiver that literally has something called JJ McCarthy as his quarterback right now. And they're thinking about signing Kyle Mert. Get him out of Minnesota, get him a real quarterback, let him snip the player. What do you guys think? What would it take to get Justin Justin? What would it take? What would it take? Good question. Too farce. I mean, it's minimum. Like, what are the big things? You think so? Yeah. He did not have a great year, but he's still one of the three best receivers in the league with time remaining. Yeah. It's not like done. No, I'd pay it. I just, I don't really think he's available. I don't think he's available. I know people bring it up. I don't think he's actually available. I think that's people, like the fact they're signing Kyler Marie helps him stay in Minnesota, not playing with JJ McCarthy helps him stay in Minnesota. Now, you may not like Kyler that may not work out. I don't think he's actually available.

I think when you see his name come up, it's like dot connecting. He might be mad in Minnesota. I don't think he's actually available. If he is, I'd pay what it took, but you think at least two first rounders. I think it's going to cost you a crap ton. Yeah. The biggest water receiver trade ever, like you have to go back to some of those ones. That's what that would be. Yeah. The guy's insane. Tim's a native. Hello, Tim. What's going on, fellas? You know, I do think the past are going to get AJ Brown, but one thing I haven't really been hearing much talked about. There was an article and now who sports from a few days ago. And I think for the Eagles to try and trade him before June 1st is actually going to be a detriment because they gave him such a huge extension. Well, so 96 men extension. So I get why the Eagles want to wait until after June 1st and you can, you know, you can always agree to a trade and then drag it out, but then AJ Brown couldn't be here for like mini camp and things like that. So that's why the Patriots wouldn't want to do that. What I would say to the Eagles is tough.

I'm sorry. You have a bunch of dead money. You got to figure that out. That's not our problem. We're taking him off your hands, meaning the real money we're going to pay him. So figure out your stupid dead cap it. You got to figure that out. That's not my problem. Because that's another reason why it might be a first round pick, right? It's like all it's like the player, but it's also like how they get a jump through hoops to figure all that stuff out. But it's another reason why or maybe it's a first and a fourth, right? Because it's like, hey, this is kind of a pain in the ass for us to figure this out. But like you, you make it worth our while then we'll get it done. So yeah, I just, that probably is a factor for the Eagles. That wouldn't be for me. I don't care. I don't want to wait until June tough. You want to trade him. You want your team. You can't get him off your team and save the dead cap it like you got, you guys got to make a decision. Howie. And so that, that's how I would play it six, one, seven, seven, seven, nine, seven, ninety, three, seven. We'll get any of your trust level with Mike Rabel. I do feel like it's wavering a little bit with fans so we can get to that coming up. Plus on the way next, it is Tuesday at 1245. It's time for the madness. Keep her madness. Stay tuned.
