About this episode
Jonathan Curley has had a passion for agriculture since a young age. He started an apprenticeship as a young man with a renowned horse trainer and learned how to train horses for several years. His love for animals grew and he started working on farms and ranches all over Utah. Shortly after being married he had the opportunity to manage a large cattle ranch in Wyoming where he started learning about regenerative agriculture. At the same time he and his wife became passionate about health and nutrition and healing the body through food. This transferred over to their love of cattle and agriculture, which ignited a passion for learning how to raise grassfed beef that was both tender and flavorful while incorporating sound, holistic nutritional practices for the animal. They realized the gap in availability of grassfed beef for average families so they moved back to Utah to start their dreams of raising delicious grassfed beef.
In today’s episode, Jonathan discuss the importance of grass-fed meat. He teaches what it means for an animal to be 100% grass-fed, why this isn’t always common, and gives tips on what to look for when buying meat.
