Iran threatens US universities, Attacks across Iraq

0:00The war between Israel and the U.S. and Iran seems to be escalating, despite regional efforts to end the fighting. The U.S. and Israeli strikes have struck across Iran overnight. Blasts have been seen and heard in Tehran and several other cities. More than 1,900 people have been killed in the attack so far. Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps says American and Israeli universities in the region are going to be targeted. And that's the response to the bombing of the University of Science and Technology in Tehran on Saturday. That follows what have been called extensive discussions between Iran and Pakistan's leaders. Islamabad is hosting talks on the crisis and the coming hours. Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia took here and Egypt are gathering in Pakistan's capital. Well, air raid sirens have been heard across Israel overnight following a barrage of incoming attacks by Iran. The Israeli army says its air defense systems have intercepted the incoming fire.

1:02The militaries also claim that it blocked projectiles fired by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen. At the same time, Hizbullah has increased rocket attacks from Lebanon, as Israeli troops pushed deeper into the south. Well, earlier in Saturday in Israeli air strike hit a vehicle in southern Lebanon killing three journalists who were filming what's been happening. The Lebanese journalist syndicate is calling their killings a crime. Israel's force evacuation orders across southern Lebanon have displaced more than 1.2 million people. Many of them are now sheltering in schools and other public buildings in the capital. Among them are more than 300,000 children who are now being denied an education. Iranian attacks across the Gulf have continued in Bakrane, two people have been injured in strikes on an aluminium plant. 2:04been intercepted on Saturday, and the UAE and Ukraine have denied earlier Iranian claims that it had destroyed a facility housing Ukrainian anti-drone systems in the United Arab Emirates, multiple attacks of target locations in Iraq, which is found itself pulled into the war. The latest wave of strikes hit the headquarters of the popular mobilization forces in northern Iraq, and earlier attacks struck the residents of the president of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
