Iran’s propaganda campaign against America

We're not going to turn anybody away. We're not into the business of doing that. Everybody is in this family, our military family. Welcome aboard, as I said earlier, so that's what we're all about. But I want you also to know that I have received considerable feedback from our listeners, and I'm glad to see that you have a strong interest in learning more about our national security, more about our Navy and Coast Guard, and also some of the other branches of the service

2:04than you ever have in the past. I mean, that, to me, is very, very interesting and very, very encouraging. Now, the topics that are addressed on this program reflect only the perspectives presented by the Association of the United States Navy. I'm not speaking for anybody else, not speaking for any governmental agency, not speaking for any other individual, but speaking for myself and the association of the United States Navy, all right? I wanted to get that out there to make sure that you have all the facts about who we are and what we're doing. All right. Now, this is a very, very important topic. Just came up. Something new is happening with regard to the war in Iran. Hasn't been talked about very much by the mainstream media.

3:07Probably because it doesn't fit their narratives. We'll get to that at some other time. I don't want to waste time on them at the moment, but I want to talk about what this issue that we have now seen surface. And that is Iran's propaganda campaign against the United States of America. That's right. They are launched a propaganda campaign against us. Now, it reminds me of the stories I read throughout history of a woman called Tokyo Rose, a lot of you of this younger generation don't know who Tokyo Rose is, probably never learned about Tokyo Rose during your high school years and college years. But when America went to war with Japan, the Imperial Japanese government decided to launch a psychological campaign, psychops, it's called, against the United States of America. And they began to broadcast some real, I mean, unbelievably negative information,

4:11not only to our troops out at sea and in the air and on bases around the world, but they were trying to get their broadcast into every home that had a radio, didn't have TV for quite a while back then, but they were trying to get their broadcast into every home across America to do what? To do what? To demoralize the American people. To get them to get the president of the United States FDR to end the war. To back off, surrender. They want the American people to believe back then in World War II, that the Navy of the United States of America was being defeated on a high seas, that the Army was being decimated on land, and that the Air Force of the United States of America ceased to exist. Tokyo Rose, that was her name. And boy, she was faithfully on the air, many, many, many hours during the course. Of World War II. Well, we have a 21st century Tokyo Rose. What do you think of that, folks? Kind of high tech these days. They did not have the tech that we have today.

5:12So the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. You've heard a lot about them having you. IRGC. Yeah, we all know what those initials mean. They have actually intensified their psychological operations targeting you and me, targeting the entire United States of America through the release of advanced technology depicting chilling attacks against the United States military. Now, I've got to tell you, what do you think the objective is? What do you think the objective is of the IRGC? The same objective that was Tokyo Rose's when she was doing this with low tech stuff during World War II. Now, the objective of the IRGC is to instill fear in you and diminish the morale of both military personnel and the American public. Now, I've got to tell you, I have personally observed some of this propaganda and I typically affects only those who interpret it as credible.

6:13I want you to know that. People will look at what I saw. And if you haven't seen it, it may be coming your way. Some people have found the way to rule themselves into add a curiosity, looking at this stuff. And probably after the children up and down this line, they decided that they made a mistake. No, I'm not going to give you the websites. I'm not going to give you any leads that would bring you to the homes, if you will, of the 21st century Tokyo Rose, now named the IRGC propaganda campaign against America. I'm not going to give you any hints, any idea as to how to get there. Soon enough, it'll be coming to you. And maybe you will find the way there, but believe me, you just don't want to see that stuff. I have described to you what's on there, but I don't want you to see it. What's on there are videos of US Navy ships being sunk. Coast Guard ships being overtaken by the Navy, by the way, of a brand that doesn't exist.

7:14Of course, they don't share that stuff with you. Army troops being defeated on the battlefield, US Air Force jets being shot down. Lied, lies, lies, propaganda folks, but that's what they got out there. And in their mind, they figured, hey, if they could get part of our population really upset, they're going to be believing that our people, our Americans are going to take to the streets and protest what our government is doing with regard to Iran. Well, it isn't going to work. It isn't going to work. In fact, I believe it is going to backfire. Now, all of what the IRGC is doing represents, I mean, a real significant psychological campaign directed towards us, directed towards you, me, wives, husbands, children too. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you got high school kids and college kids are going to be looking at this stuff. I got to tell you, it's part of war. Look, I've said this over and over again.

8:15On major, major television networks, when I've been on the air over the past couple of weeks, America wake up, we are at war. And the war is going to hit our homeland, not necessarily with terrorist attacks and bullets and bombs, but first and foremost, it's here through the introduction of psychological warfare. Think about what I'm sharing with you. Because as time goes on, you're going to say, uh-oh, that guy, that guy was right. That guy on that radio show that I was listening to was right. And I'm that guy, telling you, sharing that with you. Don't pay attention to the campaign of the enemy. You know, many, many media outlets often claim that the negative coverage that they send out. You see, I think they're part of the problem too. Not only the IRGC, but the networks that are just broadcasting everything that they could find negative about this war.

9:20And it just, I'm astonished over that. You know, they'll say, well, we got to report the news. So if it's negative, it's negative. We don't report positive stuff. We're at war for goodness' sakes. You don't want to become part of a propaganda machine by the enemy. You can report the news without making it look gloom and doom, and that the American people are, you know, being lied to by its own government. And I know people, no matter what you say, out of governments lying, the government, this, the government, that. Well, I've got news for you. Our government does exactly what has to be done in order to defeat a vicious, evil enemy, vicious, evil empire, like I ran. That's how we took down the Soviet Empire. That's how we took down the Nazis, the Japanese. Every single nation that rose up against the United States of America was defeated.

10:20And I ran is no different. They will be defeated. But there are a lot of media outlets. You know who they are. I don't have to name them. They claim that their negative coverage is a necessity, because they claim it's negative. And they figured, well, we're going to do what we've got to do, say what we've got to say, and let the chips where they will. Even at the expense, even at the expense, my friends, of a war. A war that is very, very, very bad. A war that, unfortunately, was an necessity years ago. After I ran started this war, 47 years ago. I had to become, we knew it was coming while it's here, and now we're in the fight. Yep, you and me are in the fight, especially here in the homeland. Now, it seems to me that the news media, I'm talking about the major mainstream news media outlets, they continue, and I've said this over and over again, they continue to shape the news so that their ratings could go up to shape the news so that the narrative they have,

11:27which I believe is in support of certain political entities, if you will, and certain individuals who are anti-American, they are spreading the news that they want to spread. Political motives, you bet. Bias, you bet. So I don't trust a lot of the news media. Not at all. I do trust some networks, but I say that most of them, I probably just don't trust. I don't believe what they're putting on there. I see over and over again through some of the talking heads they have on, that everybody has, they have on their stations, on their news networks, have a common denominator. They're all experts, folks. Everybody's an expert. And is ironic that all the experts they have on is denouncing, questioning. I mean, really, bringing to dark skies, the sky is falling over America. You know what? I don't believe it. And unfortunately, they're not helping the United States when it comes to that particular topic of war.

12:28I've observed that whenever certain networks cover news related to Iran, their reports do what? Often highlight a negative angle regarding U.S. involvement. At least that's where it appears to me. Maybe it appears to you that way, maybe it doesn't. Look a little harder. Listen a little more carefully. Nothing wrong with turning into their stations and networks. I do. I have to because, you know, I'm involved with the media on the air a lot. And I'm bringing news to you. I want to find out what they're lying about. So at least I could address those things through this network, through this broadcast, and through other means that I have to communicate with the American people. Mainstream media. They're reporting, again, in my view. Often emboldens our enemies. Whether they know it or not. Whether they are sensitive to that or not. But that's exactly what I believe is going on. They're holding our enemies. In worst of all, they may even help their propaganda efforts.

13:33Now, those media outlets who hear me say that, if the shoe fits, maybe they're wearing it. And you're going to hear them on the air because I've heard them time and time again say, well, now because we're reporting the news the way we see it, we're enemies of the United States. No, no, no. I'm not saying that you're an enemy of the United States. I'm not questioning your patriotism. I'm questioning your judgment. That's what I tell the mainstream media networks who are going to add it their way to report in such a way that it becomes part of a propaganda machine that's coming right out of, I ran in this case. They don't want to hear that. They call it journalism. Folks journalism died years ago in America. We don't have journalists anymore. We don't. But they'll spend more time on talking about how the Iranian Navy

14:33has been able to plant mines in the straighter hormones than the time on how the brave, courageous United States Navy sunk just about every warship the Iranian Navy has. The brave men and women in the United States Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, the bravery of our troops, the bravery of our war fighters. They spend little or no time on talking about them. Why? Because it doesn't fit their narrative. You know, I get on a lot of news networks, radio, television, one particular mainstream media network stuff putting me on. Because their agenda is not in my view. Their agenda is not, and again, I'll say in my view, to help the American cause. Because they know if I come on their broadcast, I'll tell them like it is. They'll have to take me off. In fact, that's why I'm not on anymore.

15:33I was on one of these news broadcasts and telling them how great our country is, how we should be so proud of our war fighters, they never had me on again. Yeah, that's it, that's true. And I don't want to go on their broadcast anymore. I'm not here to be another technical of our enemies, of those who are looking to destroy us. I'm here to help strengthen the morale, strengthen the hope and the faith, strengthen the American people by encouraging you by doing what? By giving you truth. By giving you truth. My opinions and suggestions are based on truth. So people don't want to accept it, that's fine. There's a lot of truth that needs to go around because, again, we've got the propaganda arm of the Iranian government as well as some of the news broadcasts here in the United States spreading so much dense information and misinformation

16:34and manufactured information. We're so inundated with it. People are telling me, they don't even know where to go to get good news anymore. The good news you're hearing is right now. I'm not the only one doing this. America out loud news, I'm going to tell you. The entire network is doing that. The entire network is standing up for this country. And we're bringing you news that we believe you need to become aware of so that you could do a few things to counteract it. And I shared with people, one of the first things you want to do to counteract this stuff is when you begin to receive propaganda, don't delete it. I'm sorry, delete it. Don't spread it around. Don't answer it. Just delete it. Because of many, many times, with no ill intention, we have found that people who are receiving this garbage out of Iran or from the seats of our enemies are sharing it. And every time you share it, guess who's watching?

17:35That's right. You don't think they're watching our enemies. You don't think they're tracking. Look, they've got technology like we do. So just delete it. Get rid of it. Don't share it. Don't consume it. You don't need to do that. Why? Why are you looking at that stuff? It comes to you accidentally. Yeah, you're going to be curious. But you don't need to spend an hour in front of one of these videos and see what's going on. And by the way, a lot of these advanced technology they have, they're actually developing what appears to be war games for kids. Having the Americans being defeated in their war games. We need to think of that. Parents, make yourself very aware of what your children are watching and listening to. Again, we are at war. You and me are now engaged in this war. We need to step up. We need to do exactly what has to be done with regard to this psychological operation that is being used against us.

18:40And that's to turn it right around. Get out there. Post some good stuff about what's going on. Let our troops know they're watching too. Then we support them. That is very, very, very important. Now, here's some facts you need to know. Number one, the United States Navy has totally destroyed the military capabilities of the entire nation of Iran. That's right. 99% of their Navy, that is Iran's Navy, is at the bottom of the ocean. We, the United States of America, we dominate the skies over Iran. They don't have the skies in control anymore. We've got them in control. We're in control of the skies. They're leaders. They're in hiding. I understand now that there are reports that the new Ayatollah, so scared to death, him and about 20 of his top advisors, either have fled or are making arrangements to flee to country to try to get to Moscow. Now, Moscow, there's allegedly headed to to hide,

19:42or the public statement that's coming out is that the new Ayatollah is sick and ill, something's wrong with him, and he's going to get a doctor's checkup at some hospital in Moscow. You see, they're hiding. They're running. They know what's going to happen to them. They know what's going to happen to them. So, those are facts, folks. They underestimated, look, I've said Iran has underestimated the power of the United States Navy, and they're going to learn real quick. They have underestimated the power of the United States Marines, Army, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard, especially when it comes to defending our homeland. And I got to tell you, if they dare, they dare to attempt an attack on our homeland that will probably be the last that will ever hear of the Iranian military ever in the history of that country. Now, I believe that they are underestimating you and me

20:43all across this country. Americans are going to be engaged in this psychological war because we all have computers and iPads and phones. I don't believe for one minute that that's going to turn the American people against their military and against our government with regard to this war. Nobody wants to be at war. I'm not saying we support war. Nobody supports war. But we're in a war. And it's not because of us. I get sick and tired of hearing people while Americans started the war. Really? Think about 47 years ago if you were around. I was. That's when the war started. The problem we had faces that no American president or Congress had the guts to send in our military to take care of business. Well, we have done it. It's there. We're taking care of business. Perhaps the Iranian leaders folks, some of you alive today were not alive back then, but I'm going to share with you. But there was a Japanese admiral, a Sorko Yamamoto.

21:43He was leading a Japanese warship fleet toward Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in 1941. They were preparing for the attack on Pearl Harbor. But after he assessed the planned attack, here's what he is famous as quoting. I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill them with a terrible resolve. That was the admiral in charge of the Japanese imperial fleet headed towards America to attack Pearl Harbor. He knew. He knew when he assessed everything they made a big mistake. The admiral was right and Japan was soundly defeated. Today, the Iranian government is doing the same thing. They have awakened a sleeping giant. And that sleeping giant happens to be the United States Navy, the United States government and the people

22:43of the United States of America. So folks, it is important to be aware that adversarial parties, enemies of this country, observing, and they are assessing the extent of our support for our military and our national security, right here, right here on social media platforms and other outlets. So I encourage all of those people who hold influential leadership roles and there's a heck of a lot of us here on the Internet who are doing that. We have some terrific roles and opportunities to influence a lot of people. Well, I encourage you to join me. Not to come on the broadcast, but to join me and assuring the American people through your post that our military remains strong and is successfully overcoming our adversaries a day in and day out. And you know what that is folks? It's don't mess with the United States Navy, don't mess with the United States Coast Guard, don't mess with the American people. And I've shared with our enemies over the airways because I know they listen. We have no reason to fear you, but you are enemies. Have a heck of a lot of reasons to fear us. Isaiah 41-10, if you're not frying with you, be not this made for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I believe that the overwhelming majority of people here in the United States and perhaps around the world have not opened up the book I'm about to share with you for a long, long, long time. But this book became very important to me when I was a naval officer, when I was aboard ships on some of the deployments we had. And as I got around military bases, I learned that more and more people in the United States Navy, because I was in a Navy, but in the military, were picking up this book. And then in my career as a police officer, the same thing, cops got closer to this book. And I would venture to say that many of you in the different professions you have, somehow, some way, during the course of your life in the profession,

33:03whether you're a plumber, a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, someone who is working very, very hard to keep our city safe and clean. All right, I look at, I admire the people when I walk into a mall, who are cleaning those mall floors up and washing them windows and cleaning the tables. I really admire them to the point where I go off to them and thank them. Oh yeah, I do that. My wife will bear witness to that. If I see a plumber working on a pipe or somebody out in the street with the sanitation department cleaning up the garbage that we leave out there, I'd thank them. Because we've got to let people know that they count. You want to know why I feel that way? Because God lets me know I count. And He lets you know you count when He begins to move in your life somehow some way. During the times that you may not even know it. Oh yeah. So where's this book? Where's this magical book, if you will, of good news, of hope, right?

34:06A great future for you. Well, B-I-B-L-E Bible. That book is the Holy Bible. Better known as the Book of Good News. Better known as the Book of Life. Better known as the Book of Light of Hope. You see, the book, the Holy Bible is indeed a book of life. It shows us how we should live. It shows us the pathway to a great and beautiful, wonderful, eternal life. 35:06Whether we like it or not, whether we accept Him or not, He is in our lives. So what about this book, the Bible? Well, how about this? I couldn't figure out many, many years ago. How would I describe the Bible? How would I define the Bible? Somebody asked me, what is the Bible? I would tell them, well, the book written through the power of the Holy Spirit, through man, to leave a historical history of how God moved on earth years ago. I mean, that's all I could come up with. Well, what I know, as a young person back then, that's, you know, this is God's Word. I love it. I've been taught about it. A lot of neat things in there. Save my life several times, I could tell you that. But as I got older, I began to study that Word. But that's what I would tell people. But someone years ago sent me a definition, a description of the Bible. And it's entitled the Bible, the Word of God. Who is that someone? I don't know. Nobody knows.

36:06It's on the Internet, I'm sure. You look up the Bible, the Word of God, and you'll get what I'm about to share with you. And you know who the author is? Unknown. That's right. Unknown. And this unknown author described the Bible as this. Now, listen carefully. This is really important. The Bible. The Bible reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise. Believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter.

37:14Here Paradise is gained, heaven opened, and hell disclosed. Christ is its grand object, our goodest design, and the glory of God its end. It shall fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is a mind of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened in the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, promises the highest reward for labor, and condemns all who trifle with its sacred, contents. The Bible is the Word of God. And therein lies your solution to all of your problems, your peace when your soul, your spirit, your heart is at war with those problems, and the challenges that you are facing each and every day.

38:17Let's talk about the Bible for a minute. I want to talk about what I just shared with you. The Bible reveals the mind of God. You know, many people wonder, what's on God's mind? When I'm praying, gee, I wonder what's on his mind? Is he really paying attention to me? Is he really bothering about me, this puny little me on earth when he's got all these problems to deal with? The answer is yes. God loves you. God has embraced you as not only a son or a daughter, but as a friend. He's God. He can do whatever he wants, all the power in the world. So one has to believe that what's on God's mind is not only all these problems around the world. He can snap his finger and end them. But there's a reason why he doesn't do it, and some other time we'll get into that. But what's on his mind is you. And what's on his mind is not only you as a creation of his, not only you as a child of his,

39:18but you as a person that might have some problems and difficulties that need to be resolved and taken care of. And the way he does that is call upon you to do what? Ask him. Ask and you shall find. Seek. I'm sorry. Ask. Seek a knock, okay? Ask and it shall be given. Seek and you shall find. Knock. And the door shall be open. So he wants us to do. He wants you to go to him. He wants you to embrace him as he embraces you. So that's what's on his mind. Also, in that book, the Bible is the way of salvation. Look, there's only one way of salvation. And I'm not going to get into a doctrinal philosophical, theological debate when anybody about this. This is purely my belief based on the book of life, the word of God that I believe in. A lot of people say, well, what makes you right, doesn't make me right, makes him right.

40:22But it is the way of salvation. And the only way of salvation is written in the Bible. Book of John, I am the way the truth in the life. No man coming through the Father, but by me. Who? Who is the way the truth in the life? His name is Jesus Christ. He is part of what we call, the triune God, the God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I am the way the truth in the life. You ain't getting to dad unless you get through me. That's what he's saying. How do you get through him? Well, you say a prayer. And the prayer is very short, very long, short as long as you want, but the prayer does this. It simply says to God that you realize and recognize that you're a sinner. Now, how do you know that? Well, you know, you know your sins. Now, are you committing some sort of sin out there? You know that. Uh-oh, I'm stepping upon something very sensitive, but sometimes it has to be said. You know, I never believed I was a sinner way back before I knew Christ and read the Bible,

41:22but I've got to tell you, I didn't know the way of salvation either. I believe in God. Didn't know that I had to do certain things that were very simple. You could believe in something. Look, Satan believes in God. I believe in God, and then I'm thinking, gee, after I leave this earth, where am I going? Some people will tell me because I did ask people. Ah, that's it. It's over done with. You're finished. You know, you came from dust, you're going to dust. I don't want to become a police of dirt when I leave this earth. You believe God creating you and me, and going through all of this and life that we've gone through, and facing both good, you know, bad and between, between, and we end up a piece of dirt on a baseball field. So I was going to kick us around. You see, it sounds ridiculous because it is ridiculous. He created us for a reason. And that reason, yeah, is to do the best we could on this earth according to his laws and his rules. You know, as we're not perfect, but we are sinners. And he's given us a pathway to deal with our sin, and he not only did that, but he said, listen, here's what's going to happen.

42:23I'm going to take away your sins. I will be the sacrifice for your sins. Look, in the Old Testament days, they got a whole of a lamb or some animal, and they killed that lamb as a sacrifice for the sins that they committed. They shed that lamb's blood. If you notice, ready folks? Jesus Christ, God is known as the Lamb, the Lamb of God. Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, get it who takes away the sins of the world. Now all those Christians know that. That's in a lot of our prayers. It's in the Bible. So Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, gets on that cross, gets crucified for you and me. Hard to understand, you bet it is. Do I believe it? You bet I do. Because it's written not only in the Bible, but that crucifixion is written in a number of historical books that have been written from way back then, even by a guy named Josephus, I believe his name is very, very famous. And the history of Israel wrote the history of Israel. Paul, Peter, Mark, Luke, John, all the disciples, they witnessed this, Mary, right?

43:26You know, they all witnessed this crucifixion. So why did he go up there on the cross for you and for me? It's simple. It wasn't simple for him. It's simple for us. So when I began to realize that if that's the only way to heaven, well, I'm going to take that chance. I'm going to, with my heart, say, Lord, I now confess to you my sins. I actually told them if I had to stand here, kneel here, sit here and confess my sins, oh, Lord, we'd be here for about a month. So can I just let you know that I know I'm a sinner? I actually did that, okay? I really did. And I did that. I just said, Lord, you know, I'm a sinner. Some sins I didn't even know I committed, some I do, but please I pray and ask that you forgive me. And I really believe that you came to this earth. I don't understand at all, but I'll accept your word that you came to this earth and shed your blood for my sins. And accept you as my friend, my God, my close friend in God and my Savior. Amen.

44:30That was it. That's what I said. Yep. Back in 1977, it took me a long time to get there from the day I was born in 1951, but I got there. And therein was the moment of time that my entire life began to change. Did the problems go away? Nope. Did the difficulties go away? Nope. Did the storms just pass me by and you know, rain on somebody else? Nope. Had a lot of problems, difficulties for my life. A lot of challenges, a lot of hopes and dreams I had that didn't come true, but I'm glad they didn't come true. Because I would not be where I am right now serving God in a great unique way. As the leader of one of the largest United States Navy nonprofit organizations in this country, as its executive director, as a former city councilman, a former candidate for governor of the state of New Jersey, an individual who was able to work for a presidential campaign and end up in a white house. Yeah, that's me folks.

45:31A successful career in the police department, a successful naval officer. And I'm not bragging. I don't do that. I just want to give an example of where your life can go. If you just follow not me, not any man on earth, but follow him. And that means, look, you say your prayer, you say just like I did. Confess your sins to him. Talk to him. Have a conversation with him. Talk to him like I'm talking to you. You think I get on my knees every time I pray? No, I don't. I'll talk to him in my car. I'll talk to him, you know, sometimes when I'm busy at work or something like that. But most of the time I'm talking to him just like this at three o'clock in the morning. Why? Because I want to wake up. No, because my dog happens to wake me up at three o'clock in the morning. And I was wasting my time doing nothing when he was running around the yard doing whatever he wants to do. I decided what a time to talk to God and pray. Make that coffee poured in my cups. Sit down.

46:35I'll read a couple of scriptures and I'll say, I got a problem. But I just read this scripture. How can I apply this scripture to my life? Done that for a long, long time and continue to do it to this day. So life for me hasn't been easy, but it hasn't been so hard that I could not overcome any challenge that I have ever faced and will continue to face in my life. While serving the United States Navy, I'll never forget at times there were many, many young sailors that I would approach. You know, an officer approaches a young sailor on a ship who's a seamen or a petty officer. They think they're in trouble. Well, I happen to be on the U.S.S.E. with Jima at some point in time in my career. And I walked across the deck of that ship. And I got to tell you, I ran into a young sailor and we had a conversation about the Navy. And I felt that he was troubled over something. He was. And had an opportunity to talk with him.

47:36And when I began to talk about the Bible and not military law or military counselors who are available, etc. He began to look at me and his eyes rolled up. I said, you're okay there, young man. He says, well, I'm not. And we had a conversation about his life and about some of his troubles. And I talked to him about the promises made to him in the Bible that God loves him and that there were scriptures in there that would apply to him. And then I recommended him to see a naval chaplain and then maybe even to see some of the counselors on board. And I gave them that advice and I got to tell you, I found out later on that, you know, it's amazing things how you find out things in life. I found out later on not too long, but long enough to maybe even forget that moment in time, which I never did, obviously, that things worked out pretty well for this fellow.

48:36Things worked out pretty well, not because of what I said, but because of what the Lord said to him through that book of Bible. Why? Because the mind of God was not on me at that moment in time when I talked to him was not on anything else, our mission with the United States Navy, but was on that young man. That's right. And then you do that, you turn your life over to Christ. It goes on to say the Bible contains the happiness of believers. I am happy. Am I happy like this all the time? Nope. Am I happy like this most of the time? Yeah, I am. I am. Do I worry? Yeah, not as much as I used to concern about things. Yeah, I am, but I've learned to turn them over to Christ. I've learned to say, Lord, I don't know how I'm going to get out of this issue, out of this problem, out of this difficulty. But boy, do I need your help? And it comes. The Bible has words that are holy. The doctrines are holy. All right. Talks about the precepts are binding. I'll tell you what that means. God's promises are binding.

49:42Now I make promises to God all the time. And I break some of them, maybe too many of them. You think he gets mad at me and he's going to knock me over to him or to hammer? Of course not. Same with you. You're human. He knows that. But when I break them promises, I get the message. Oh, do I get the message? And then I get right back on course. And then at times I won't make a promise. I tell him, look, I need this help. I'm not going to promise you. I'm going to do a B and C. Of course, I know I'm going to break it. I tell you that guy probably cracks up a lot and says, boy, I'll tell you what, I got a real world winner down here in a name of Steve Rogers. But, hmm. What that's a relationship I have with him. And yeah, I get serious a lot when I'm working on critical issues that involve our nation and involve the organization that I have been called to a direct and help and serve. I get serious with family matters. But I get serious with God when those things come. And I've learned in life.

50:44In fact, the man once said to me, you know what? Do you look at your problems a lot? That's years ago. I said, yeah, I do. I got, I mean, I got these problems in front of me. Of course, I look at them a lot. He said, let me tell you a secret. I go, what is it? The longer you look at the problems, the bigger they get, the longer you look at Christ, the bigger he gets. Oh, holy smoke. Yeah. I began to look at Christ longer than the problems and boy, did he get big because I was led back to the mind of God. I realized that the state of man, which is me, was the person of being a sinner who was lost, looking for something, looking for help, looking for what, looking for a way out of my troubles. I have tried everything in life that man had to offer me. Yeah, some of those things got me out of jams that I mean the real serious stuff. When I gave it to God, he guided me and led me to the right people at the right time, at the right place, not on my time, not people. I chose the people somehow that he had come into my life to help me through my difficulties.

51:53We have doctors, we have lawyers, we have all sorts of professionals, psychologists, sociologists, therapists, you name it great, wonderful people who have been called by God to come into your life and to help you if you need that special kind of help. When people tell you, well, you shouldn't go here, go there. You don't listen to them. You listen to what it says in that good book. What did we just share with you? Read it to me wise, the greatest wisdom that you're going to get from the Bible. You're going to reach stories in there about individuals who are very wise. How about King David? How about Solomon? How about Moses and that whole crew? Ruth, all right? Naomi, Mary, all right? Every single person written in that book who took the wisdom that God gave them survived the problems and challenges they faced, the kings and queens included. But those who did not and there's plenty of them and rejected God's word did not accept his wisdom decided to go their own way and then ended up going one way down and not up.

53:00So, want wisdom? Read the Bible. You want to be safe? Look what's in that Bible and practice it to be holy, not to be holier than thou, not to be perfect, but meaning that to be holy is to know that there's a God above and that you need is help. People will lead you to believe, well, you got to go to church every day, you got to be on your knees here and there. You don't got to be nothing, all right? But yourself and what you should do to the best of your ability, right, is work on having a great personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That's right. That's it. Not too hard. Man has made it hard. He's made it easy. It's the traveler's map. That's got to be your map of my map for the rest of our lives. It's the pilgrim's death, the pilot's compass. Boy, do we need a compass? I'm going to go south. He wants you to go north. Now, God, I'm going to go west, wants you to go north. All right.

54:00I am the way, the truth and the life, not that way, not this way, not your way, but my way. And he's not talking about Frank Sinatra singing that song, my way. He's talking about a song from heaven and that song is from the throne of God Almighty, the throne of Jesus Christ. I am the way, the truth and the life. No man coming to the Father, but by me. It's the soldier's sword and it's paradise. The Bible, the Word of God. You start reading that book. I got to tell you. There's all different versions. You don't have to get the one with the dozen vows. You can get one. And that's pretty simple to read these days. And I say that with all respect because there are bibles out there. Very difficult to read. You get what they call the new international version, the English standard version, the new King James version. Look around, open it up. Go to books to open it up. It won't bite you. And if you could understand it, or I'll tell you, you're going to read a book you're never going to want to put down.

55:04But it's truly going to become your map for life. And I'll tell you what, it'll be come accomplished. You'll use quite a lot. And you will feel paradise. Again, problems, difficulties. But here's the difference. Ready? Well, I mean, if the problems don't go away, what's the advantage of having it? The advantage is, here you go, peace of mind. How many times do we not have peace through even the littlest problems that we're worried about? We tend to make them big, right? Because we're more focused on the problem than on the problem solver who's Jesus Christ. Here we go, right? So we want peace of mind. We all want peace of mind. How many times have I gone to bed and I couldn't sleep? I had no peace of mind. You get it. You get it through God's word. So just remember, Christ is its grand object and your friend. Our good, it's design and the glory of God is its end.

56:04Fill your memory with God's word, let it rule your heart and let it guide your feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is a mind of wealth, a paradise of glory, a boy, a river of pleasure. What do you think of that? All right, so that's it. I want to thank you very much for joining part two.
