On April 18th, Iran just slammed the door shut on the Strait of Hormuz again, firing shots at ships trying to pass through after the U.S. kept its blockade on Iranian ports locked tight. Revolutionary guard boats hit a tanker in a container ship with gunfire and some kind of projectile, damaging cargo on board, according to British. Maritime trackers, while they warned no vessels should even try approaching from the Persian Gulf or Sea of Oman, India's not happy. They summoned Iran's ambassador over attacks on two of their flagged merchant ships, especially since Iran had led some Indian. Vessels threw just days earlier. This comes as the war hits its eighth week, kicked off on February 28th amid failed nuclear talks, with the Strait handling about one-fifth. Of the world's oil now, a major flashpoint threatening global energy prices and economies on both sides. A shaky sea-spire runs out by Wednesday.
