Iowa State's Jefferson & Crooks Light Up NCAA Tournament

0:00On March 19th Iowa State Basketball is on fire this season. Both the men's and women's teams punch their tickets to the NCAA tournament for the 2025-26 campaign. The men grabbed a number two seed, while the women earned a number eight seed. Leading the charge are star-front core players. Joshua Jefferson for the guys and Audi Crooks for the ladies. Both landing on the second team. All America honors. Jefferson came also close to first-team status, finishing just behind Texas text JT Toppen. His play has boosted the cyclones to new heights, helping secure that strong tournament position. Over on the women's side, Crooks matched Jefferson's feet with her second team nod from the Associated Press. She's also earned spots on all America teams from the sporting news and USBWA, plus third team all big 12 first team in a row. This dominated with 25.5 points per game on 64.7% shooting. She's only the second player ever in Division 1 history, man or woman to hit those marks.
