Iowa State Crushes Tennessee State, Jefferson's Status Uncertain

They dominated the boards, out rebounded the Tigers 43-29 and got 50 points from the bench while forcing 16 turnovers. The big concern came early when stargar Joshua Jefferson twisted his ankle just two minutes into the game. He left on crutches after X-rays and watched the rest from the bench in a boot, raising questions about his availability moving forward. Jefferson averages 16.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, earning second team all-American honors.
