You are listening to the daily round up here as part of the reality Steve podcast. I'm your host, Rialvety Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Friday. Good show for you today. An interview with one of my good friends. You know where you're lover. She's from She's All-Batch. It is Stephanie Parker on the podcast today. We'll get to all that momentarily. You know that I am currently out of town. So we recorded this on Tuesday. And since we recorded it, Secret Lives of Mormon, Yves Season 5, something that we talked about in the podcast was released on Wednesday. So we couldn't get into what happened on that show.

But we know from the teaser that they gave us that Taylor Frankie Paul essentially spoiled what happened on the Bachelorette. Because look, if the Bachelorette was supposed to air in its normal spot, Season 5 would have already like, you're like, wow, I can't believe they did that. Yes, but Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelorette season was supposed to air from March to May. So of course, Secret Lives this season was going to air after and you go to here, you get to hear Taylor talking about what happened on her season. But the interesting thing in this is they're still editing being done on these shows. I certainly think that by allowing Hulu to include this in Season 5, aren't they basically confirming that they're not going to air Taylor Frankie Paul season? I mean, that's the way it seems to me, which I don't think would surprise a lot of people.

I know a lot of people want to see it, but it just doesn't look like it's happening now. I don't know. It just seems weird because once the season is airing, let's just say they decide to air Taylor Frankie Paul season. How is she going to promote it? She's already given away the ending. Well, you can say, well, Steve, you give away the ending all the time. Yeah, but that's different because not everybody knows who I am. Plenty of people don't know who I am and don't follow spoilers. Here is the lead already giving away on another show what happened on her season. So her going on Instagram, if they happen to release her Bachelorette season saying, hey, watch my show tonight, you'll see what happens. And then on finale night, big decision coming up. It's like, why would you even tease it? Everybody already knows because you told them and it aired. So it just doesn't make any sense at this point, but we're doing things have happened for sure. So anyway, I just wanted to let you know that that's coming up in this interview. I was going to talk about Alex V Alex.

We're going to talk about Stephanie getting a cease and desist from ABC. And what else are we talking about in this podcast? Hell, I forgot. But anyway, that's coming up in a second. All right, here we go interview with Stephanie Parker from She's all batch. Okay, let's bring her in you know where you lover she's from the She's all batch podcast multi time guest on the show good friend of the show. It is Stephanie Parker Stephanie. Hi, how are you? I'm good. Are you feeling great? Feeling great. Yes, yes. Good.

I'm not sick. No, you're not sick at all. All right, let's just jump right into this because you've talked about this on your podcast. You talked about it. I believe on. Was it been an ash least podcast? Yeah, I gave it for us. Yeah, okay. Yeah. So for the people that don't listen to those shows. Okay, or mine. Or yours. Explain to everybody what happened and what caused ABC to send you a season to sis letter. Okay, it wasn't a season to sis though. I have to make that clear. No, that's why I just called it a legal letter. There's no conclusion at the end of the letter. It's not like there was any type of legal action taken or anything that I was really in trouble for, but it was a letter from some legal team working with ABC. And basically they wanted to let me know that their contestants are always under contract. And I don't really know. I think it was their way to tell me to tread lightly and to just, I don't know.

I don't want to interview that triggered. Yeah, because I mean, they listed like 10. And it was all in my solo era, which is interesting because I went solo with she's all batch podcast starting in April. And they listed almost every single one since April. I will say a common theme though that I've been saying when I'm talking about this is that it's a lot of people who either got a villain edit or don't necessarily have positive things to say about their experience with ABC. So I think if I just interviewed people that had nothing but nice things to say they wouldn't have a problem. For example, Hannah Brown, which I did interview in that time period as well. She wasn't listed and she doesn't have anything bad to say about ABC. She literally worked on Bachelor in Paradise. And I asked her about that in that interview. Yeah, I wonder if that's the issue. And they said that out of everyone that I had on everyone they listed, Mel and Pegg were people that needed to get approval.

And I didn't I didn't get approval. Meanwhile, in my episode, I explain how peg came to me and said, do I need to get ABC's approval? And I said, I don't know. I don't know if you asked that I don't work with them. You go go ahead and ask them. And then I never heard back from peg. So I assumed that by them coming on my show, it was totally fine. They've been on my show before with ABC's approval. So I didn't think having them on for a second time would have been a big deal. And that's also I believe the person with the contracts responsibility to go ensure that they're not reaching the contract that they signed, not the person that is just having them on a podcast. I'll tell you, I've gotten the same exact letter probably from the same legal department before you got it for different reasons. Right. No, I'm not talking about back in the day when I was sued. I got that literal same letter that you did. I would say within the last 12 months. But again, I didn't respond to it. I didn't do anything and I didn't change anything.

The thing is I have basically, I mean, outside of my regulars that I've had on, which I can't even think of off the top of my head. I just haven't been doing a lot of bachelor related interviews. So I just I kind of have gotten away from it. And not because of the letter. I don't know. I just. I've kind of started talking about other things for, you know, obviously the longest time. I'll still spoil the show. But and I'll still cover it. If in when it ever airs. But talking to contestants. I mean, I just don't know, I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. From a while back. I don't know. It just doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to anymore. So. Totally. Yeah. Let you do that. No, I mean, I don't. I feel I've spoken with everyone from the franchise, except Claire, Claire Crawley, she was still on my list and I never got together, but other than her, I've spoken to every person from the franchise that I wanted to talk to.

And I coming back home, like I recently had Corinne on it. It was so great catching up with her and hearing about what's going on with her life today and kind of like going down memory lane, Hannah Brown promoting her book. I love chatting with her. Um. But I don't know if I'm going to go out of my way to seek out. Bachelor contestants anymore only because. I mean, at this point the show hasn't been on in. Is it two years now? So we're going. One year. Uh, one one year it'll be from a bachelor in paradise aired last summer, ended around this time last summer. And then you had Mel season, which I believe ended in November. So we're coming up on 10 months where there's been zero bachelor program. Yeah. So I mean, it's kind of like, I don't really know unless something worked to happen. Like I spoke with Kat iso about her breakup with Dale Moss. Like if there's something going on, sure, it's not like I'm opposed to bachelor content, but yeah, it didn't put a great taste in my mouth, getting that letter when I feel I and you and game of roses.

There's only so many people still talking about the franchise and you really want to kind of make that list even shorter. Well, the thing that's upsetting about it, I'm sure for you as well, is just that. It's like they're so picky and choosy about what's considered breaking their contract because there are so many other people that are allowed to break their contract and nothing ever happens to them. But the content creators that are promoting the show by having contestants on the podcast, it's like, Hey, watch out. These people are under contract. It's like, look, you're lucky that anybody even wants to talk to these fucking people anymore. Your franchise is going to hell in a hand basket. No hate for the contestants though. I do love everyone that I've had on my show. It's ABC that I have the problem with because I just think they are like, they're sinking their own ship at this point. And I don't, I'm getting off the ship. I, yeah, I mean, look, you're not the only one. You know, there's a lot of people because the other shows are just more engaging,

more interesting, more eyeballs on them, whether it's, you know, love is blind or anything on Netflix, you know, even the Let's Mary Harry garbage that aired while it was terrible. No, I love it. It was, it was just more engaging on terms of social media. Yeah. More people are talking about it as, as phony and fake as it was. At least a ton of people were talking about it. So, yeah, you know what? I haven't, I'm going to do something in the middle of this interview. No, we don't need to pause it. I'm just going to, I hate the fact that I had my, I forgot to put my headphones underneath my shirt. So are you editing this out? Yeah. So there we go. Yeah, I just don't like to have the wire hanging in front of me. Yeah, here I forgot to put this out. You're editing this out? No, I'm letting it go because it was only. Okay, I was going to. I'm like getting over being sick. So. Um, all right. So you had, like you mentioned Claire, we're going to get to Claire in a second

because I don't know if, because it goes into something else that we were going to talk about of one of your, one of your past guests, I might as well get to it now. Um, okay. You had on Julia Laplacca, but you had her on. When she announced that she was having a book, she did like two media tours. Number one, back in, like, I got her in the like the stage before people started flipping out about Julia Laplacca. Yeah. And that was like, Hey, I'm, I wrote a book. It's going to be out this summer. I want to come on and promote it, but I'm not going to tell you anything about it because I want you to read the book. It's like, okay. But then you have beef with Julia Laplacca. I forgot about that. Do I? Yeah. Because when the last time we spoke about it, you said you were mad because you tried to get her on and then she wouldn't come on or something. No. Yeah. What, what happened was, I mean, but they reached out to me. I had no idea. Just a woman had a book. Oh, that's what it. Yeah. Yeah. And then they just didn't just didn't respond. And I'm just like, just again, totally unprofessional, just like I had something come

down yesterday in regards to someone from age of attraction, which I think was probably a mandate from Nick Vial. I have no proof of it. But I think that Nick Vial stepped in and killed an interview. Are you aware that you're promoting Vial files? What? I'm not promoting Vial files. I'm just going to show no. Steven literally yesterday. I was on my podcast. Oh, wasn't you talking about that? Yeah. Yeah. I have no control over that. That's crazy. You should step in. So for those of you, I'm going to take over Steve show. For those of you who don't know, Steve has that like bonus thing on his podcast feed where he it'll promote other podcasts, introducing the Vial files. When it came up on my phone, I'm my first of all, I'm not subscribed to Vial files. And second of all, why is reality Steve of all people? Do you feel it's at least a little bit like justice because you're getting paid for it?

I mean, I mean, I'm getting paid for it. But I have no control over it. I think it's kind of like. It's kind of like how social media works. It knows what podcasts you listen to and it. Suggests one that are like, if you listen to reality Steve, you like reality TV. Here's another one in that and you get Nick by out. And but again, I don't. It's kind of like that's how it works. I have no control over what it promotes. I was shocked when I saw that you're the only one that told me that. I was like, does he know? He'll email me. Yeah. Oh, I know. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I know. And it's nothing because I see it in my feed. I mean, I see it. So it's just there's nothing I can do. But you are making money off of it. So at least there's like a little bit that you're getting. Yeah. And you don't have, you know, again, if you see it in there, you don't have to subscribe. And if you don't want to, but oh, I thought you were talking about. Yeah, I got I got stoned over the weekend literally an interview two months in the making by one of the men from age of attraction, Nick's and Natalie's dating show that aired earlier this year.

And I mean, they literally checked in with me. This is something that we talked about in July. And they said, yeah, it can't work out right now. We had a date set in July. I had to postpone it like two hours later that same day. And I said, hey, instead of a 430, can we do it at seven tonight? Because it would happen to be on a day that Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota had one of her the custody meetings. And I was covering that. I was like, crap. And I push him back to seven o'clock. They're like, how about tomorrow at seven? And I said, yes, tomorrow at seven would work. And then she emailed me the next morning and said, actually, he's working on a project all month. Why don't we revisit this next month? I'm like, okay, it's like, look, I'm not going to sit here in question, but working on a project all month, I'm not asking him to do week long interview. Like, I'm asking him for 30 to 45 minutes of his time. Sometime in the next month, he doesn't have that available, whatever. Okay. So I said, let's do it. Let's do it next month. And I had, and then like three weeks ago, I said, how about Monday, September,

seventh? They're like, great works for us. Six PM Eastern. Boom, works for us. And then I emailed them back when I realized, well, Monday, September, seventh is Labor Day. I said, I can still do it. I just want to make sure that he can still do it. And they said, absolutely, he's fine. Six o'clock, September, seventh. Perfect. She emailed me on Saturday, two days before the interview was supposed to happen and said, are we still on for Monday at six PM Eastern? I said, yes, set to go. I will message, I will email you the link on Monday for the video link. I emailed her the link Monday morning and she said, thank you. And then one hour later, she said, something just came up. Andrew can't make it. And I was like, usually even in a situation like that, maybe something did come up. I immediately emailed back and said, so when is he able to do it? Yeah, let's have him back since. So yeah, so you would think that would be a rescheduled. Hey, sorry, something came up. Can we reschedule? It was just something came up.

Andrew is not able to do the interview today. That was the end of the email. I'm like, kind of a weird thing. So something tells me in the back of my head, something tells me that I don't know what Nick has control over in terms of the contestants on his show doing interviews and podcasts because a lot of them have done podcast interviews. Maybe it got back to Nick. That Andrew was coming on my show and he just killed it. Maybe it was like a family emergency and like they don't have time to explain either. Just devil's advocate, not like I need to defend Nick, but you know, I don't know how possible is involved in like the contestants on his show and what they're doing. Yeah, I'm not saying for sure. Right? It's not. I mean, he's the host. So who knows? I have no idea who controls who does the interviews. But my thinking is, of course, it's going to be in the back of my head. I have any proof. No, but just the way the email went and somebody who on Saturday double checked and then on Monday got the link and then said, oh, he can't do it.

And it's like, okay, well, then when can he? And you haven't heard back makes me think that they just are. And maybe it wasn't even Nick. Maybe it was just Netflix that killed it. They don't want him. I don't know, but to not get even responses is kind of unprofessional. Anyway, let's move on to do the Laplacca. Well, that's what we were talking about. So when Julie came on your shows like that pre. I have a book coming out in July, but I want to share really much. I'm going to have to read the book. And then she went on her media tour in July and did, I think every podcast under the sun telling her story. She sent you the book. So you could do the interview with her. I know you read the book. She now that she did the, did the podcast tour. What is your thought process on her and the book itself? She didn't send me the book. Her like person did like what she didn't when I got on the call with her. I had read the book. I read the parts that I needed to read. And I told her that and she's like, Oh, you did.

She didn't know I read the book. So she wasn't prepared for an interview where I was going to actually ask specifics. So I then had to then like come out with all these other questions. So my interview with her was more about like her being a producer. I asked about like Hannah Ann in the golf cart and like my thoughts on Claire Crawley season and how I thought Claire Crawley, I feel I know Claire Crawley was pushed out in that role. And I was trying to ask her that type of stuff because I couldn't ask a ton about the book, even though she came on for the book. My thoughts. I'm not quite sure. I do think Nick brought up valid points when he pointed out like the abusive power and how she was the producer and she he worked under her and you know him asking her to not release it. And then she released it anyway. I don't think it's something I would have done.

But it's the choice that she made. And I hope that she's okay with that choice. But I don't know. It's I can. I think about it as like a podcast host. If someone said something in an interview with me and they were uncomfortable with it, I and they asked me to take it out. I would take it out. So but I think she knows that people probably wouldn't have wanted to read the book as much if she didn't expose what really happened with Peter. Yeah. I mean, let's be honest. The only reason anyone cared about that book was the Peter story. Like she is somebody that nobody's name we knew. I mean, obviously contestants on the show did maybe certain content creators had heard the name Julia Laplacca, but the average fan, even when the stuff was going on with Peter back when his season was airing. I don't think the name six years later resonated and all. Oh, yeah, that producer that was seen with him in Times Square. You know, it was one of these things where it didn't need to be written.

But then when she went on her podcast tour, which is three months after you after the book had come out and she was able to talk freely about it. I mean, I almost thought she was a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic with some of the things that she was saying. What does that mean? What does that phrase mean? You know, just what does that mean? She's not all there. A couple of saying. Just talking about manifesting, still having dreams about Peter. I'm just listening to her on these podcasts and seeing these clips on her and these podcasts that she's doing. I'm like, why is she still talking about him in that way when it was six years ago? And it was clearly never serious on Peter's end. Like, I mean, anybody that was looking at this from the outside and hearing what she was saying was, yes, she fell for him. There's nothing wrong with that. She can't help her feelings. But to write a book about it six years later and revisit it and go to him and say, like, what do you think? And he's like, basically, why are you talking about this now? And it was just so books. Like in the book, though, it's one chapter.

So people think like, oh, she wrote a book about Peter Webber. Like she wrote a book about the book is like I said, when I said I read the book, I read the relevant chapter that I needed to read for the interview. But the book was about like her spiritual journey. Like she talks about like old ex-boyfriends and stuff that people don't know about and how she got to where she is today and how she's happy with who she is today. And Peter was a chapter in that story. But, but yeah, I think she could have left it out. Like Peter part. Yeah. She left it into cell books. He told, I mean, yeah. Yeah. At the end and now knowing that Peter is pregnant with twins and this was back in July when she was doing this tour, I'm guessing Peter knew that his girlfriend was pregnant when she was doing this tour, right? Probably why he didn't have any comments now that we know in September they've announced that they're having twins. So when Julie's going on this tour, Peter has to deal with it and he wasn't obviously saying

publicly back then because they were assuming in the first trimester, he didn't want to say anything publicly. But now knowing that he was dealing with that behind the scenes and then he had to listen to her go on every single podcast under the sun and talk about him in that way. I understand now why Peter is just like, why did she, why is she doing this? Why? I don't even need to. Yeah. And he blocked her right after all this. She told me that. So I don't know after that, after the their hookup in like 2020, like he blocked her back then. No, he blocked her when she reached out to him and said that she wanted to write a book. And then when he said, I don't want you to include the fact that like we slept together. And I don't know. But she said after that, he blocked her. So anyway, speaking of Claire Crawley and this relationship, Julie, Claire was just on Caroline Loney and you saw. Did you hear what Claire? Okay. Did you hear what the snippets were Claire said? No, it popped up on my YouTube feed and I was like, my girl Claire.

So I played it for a few minutes and I didn't have time to watch. But I like wanted to go back and potentially watch. So she Claire said, because remember, at Peter's awkward finale, we remember with Barb and Maddie. Remember, yes. That was on like a Tuesday night. Claire was set to film Friday night at the mansion for her season and then, you know, COVID hit. So Claire was in LA at a hotel that night and she told the story on Caroline and the other woman's podcast. Ryan Locke, these ex-wife for getting her name, I apologize. But Claire told the story that Julie, who was basically Claire's handler during that ditched her in the hotel that night to go to Peter's room and hook up with him. What? We were there. I mean, I've known that for years because Peter, it was Peter's finale. They're back, they were back in the hotel the night of like the after the final rose. They all the back to the hotel that night.

Claire is in her room. Peter is having his stuff. Yeah, Julie was with Peter that night or maybe the night before leading into after the final rose during the night before the night of, but Claire tells the story and it was like, yeah, Julie was going to set to be my handler. We were at the hotel that night. We were hanging out, but she was so basically Google Gaga over Peter. She ditched me that night in the hotel to go hang out with Peter. And so after he like has his breakup with Hannah and then he's sitting on the couch with Madison saying, mom, I love her. Please respect our relationship. He's then going and sleeping with Julia Laplacca within that same 24 hour period. Yep. Here's that. I mean, Peter's no angel in the situation. Like does he deserve to have all of his private details exposed about him? No, but like he really did go through. Yeah. And then a week later, he was in Chicago with Kelly, starting that relationship, you know, so that's what's the craziest thing.

You know, yeah, yeah, no kidding. But yeah, Claire told that story about Julie on Caroline's podcast and yeah, it just adds to the Julia Laplacca lore that, yeah, during that whole, like I said, it might have been the night before leading into after the final rose taping or after they got back from the after the final rose taping. It was that it was one of those two nights and then two nights later or three nights later that Friday night is when Claire was set to film and then COVID hit. And yeah, but yeah, and I think I think one of the things that you said and obviously Julie never gave you a clear answer. But this is something a lot of us have openly talked about in that. Look, the way everything was going down during COVID, we know that they were literally very, very strict on. You need to be out here two weeks and quarantine for it was 10 to 14 days before we start filming Claire did it.

All the producers did it. All of Claire's men did it. They were out there for 10 or 14 days, but seven days into actual real time filming is when they bring in Tacia, which means Tacia would have had to have been in Palm Springs. Three days before Claire even started filming. So if you didn't have Tacia already in mind and set to go, how would you have cleared her through health protocols and bring her on, which, like I said, goes to prove your point of. They already knew before Claire season at some point we're going to end this early with Claire and Dale and how we got to have Tacia ready to go, but we can't bring Tacia in on a day's notice because we have to do 10 to 14 days of quarantine. Like and Julie never, Julie never really answered it when you confronted her with it, because I knew that she knew the remember. Yeah, I mean, she didn't say, yep, that's what happened. I know that. I know that wasn't her answer, but yeah, it's just kind of funny. No, but the biggest piece of evidence I have is when I put out a clip of I was talking about it with Noah herb forever ago.

Claire crawly DMed me and said, thank you for being one of the only people finally speaking the truth. Because I was pushing back on Noah because like he doesn't want to reveal everything, you know, and I was like, but it's like they knew she was going to leave though. And he's like, or you know, they just knew Claire was flaky. I'm like, no, they knew Claire was going to leave like this was a plan. And that was the clip she responded to and said, thank you for being the one of the only people saying the truth. And I'm like, okay, well, there it is. That's all I need to know. They she knows. Yeah, she knows. And just the timing it you can't you can't say that, oh, Claire made this decision. Even even if they thought on day one or two, that Claire like, oh crap. She's clearly into Dale. She's not giving anyone a chance. We got a pivot right now. Clearly filmed for seven days before Tasia came in. So you can't convince me that one or two days into filming is when you decided to make that call to Tasia and be like, hey, do you want to be our bachelor?

Right. She had to be there prior. So she had to already be there, you know, because even the way I agree with production though, like watching a season of a girl only liking one guy and literally like pushing the other guys away. Remember they were like trying to kiss her. And she was like, oh, you're not Dale. Like she was really not into it. And that would have been a horrible season to watch for eight nine episodes. When you knew she was going to just pick him. So I understand productions reasoning, but like, I don't think she said, oh, you're not Dale. Pretty much dead. I do. But that was funny the way you worded it. But yeah, I think again, I wish somebody. Well, I don't know if Claire would hopefully tell me. Claire came on my podcast. It was about, it was more about her health journey and what she had to go through. But, um, yeah, that's, that's been out there for years. And yet nobody will physically, you know, nobody will from production side. You know, we can throw it out there and say, guys, here are the facts of what happened.

And this was the start date. This is when they got to Palm Springs. How many days they had to quarantine? You do the math. It doesn't mathematically link up that, oh, crap. Claire has done a one or Claire likes one guy. Let's do a 180 on the season. No, they already. Yeah. And had it not been COVID time. They could have gotten away with this theory. Yeah. And then, oh, no, that's not it. We just called Tation. She flew in. But like because it was COVID time, we have this information and you're lying. Yeah. They lied. It's whatever. And you know, again, six years ago and everyone's happy. Uh, Tation's not with her man. Caitlin is, uh, Claire is, uh, married with a daughter and everybody's moved on. Um, yeah. All right. So the other thing I wanted to talk to you about, I have not watched it. I think you have or at least watched a few episodes of the Alex Earl. Reality show, right? Have you watched the whole thing? Of course, Steven. I've watched the whole thing. I watched. I'm like eight.

Oh, it is eight. Okay. Yeah. So give it a little bit. Okay. Give us a little review of it. What did you know? Were you an Alex Earl like big fan going in? Did you know? Or you just knew the basics of how she got to be where she was? No, I knew her. I mean, I definitely followed her. I was very into the feud when Alex Cooper called her out. So I knew that the feud was going to unfold on the show. I think it's hilarious that Alex Cooper unknowingly gave Alex Earl her season finale. I mean, literally the final episode of the eight part series is Alex Cooper being like, Hey girl, if you're going to have to sit, if you're going to say something, just say it. And like that's, I know that like while they're filming production is probably like brilliant. There's our our season finale. We didn't really have anything slated up. So this is going to be our ending. So that was the finale. For some reason, I thought that would have been in the first episode. I thought that's what they would lead with. They sprinkle it. You know, they got to keep you going throughout the whole thing.

But it's it's heavily about Alex recovering from her breakup with Braxton. That's a lot of the show. You got. But overall, I mean, I thought it was great. You got to see a lot. I mean, what do you want to know? Is her family interesting or the other characters in her family worth doing a show around? Or was it more about I just care when you're watching it or just like. Just give me the Alex stuff. I don't really care about the mother and the father and whatever sibling she has. Yeah. So that's the thing. The family is interesting. However, I was happy that they didn't spend that much time on them. Like they're still even when they focus on the family, it's still Alex involved in the family. And I feel like that was smart because people really do want to see Alex at the as the main person. But like, do you know with the parents like the cheating scandal? There's like a whole thing there. No. Yeah. Alex's stepmom got with Alex's dad and they cheated with how do I explain this?

There was a cheat. Sorry, I'm sick. So my my head is a little foggy. But basically there was a cheating scandal like the dad cheated on the mom. And then who he cheated with is now the stepmom. She has no boundaries like she. She says that she's like a reformed woman and learned from her mistakes. And so the dad made mistakes as well. Obviously, but like then makes comments at the dinner table with everyone there. And the stepmom, who was the other woman, says things like all men cheat. And it's like, well, why are you saying things like this in front of your husband's ex wife who he cheated with you? It just lots of that dynamic. Alex's mom is a fucking saint for putting up with all of this shit. But yeah, the stepmom was like a well-known person. She was like the I don't know the terminology, but she was like the mistress in the Elliott Spitzer scandal. Oh, she was. Oh, I did. She was like the person that she was the minute like the escort.

She did that. So that's why people knew her. So then she was then photographed with TJ Earl. And that's how the his then cheating scandal came out because then photos of him with her came out. And then they got divorced. And so there's like a whole blended family aspect that's a little more. It's it's definitely more interesting than a typical like our parents are divorced type thing. It made for a good TV. How many siblings does she have? She has Ashton who's her sister from her mom and dad. And then she has steps steps, steps siblings. Three of them. So there's five altogether. Oh, I didn't realize the family was that big. And so when it ended with the Alex Cooper feud, did she address everything and let everybody know? Okay. So what what did she say about the Alex Cooper feud? What was her beef when she had that, you know, she threw the shade on social media and and you know, Alex said just speak it.

Oh, Alex Earl did. And then Alex Cooper said, I have nothing to hide. Just say it and she's like on it or whatever. So I was using the show as the platform. What did she say about the feud with Alex Cooper and what's what is her issue with Alex Cooper? I have a lot more questions. And I actually after I get off this call, I plan to make a video about the questions I still have about the food. What we do learn is that Alex Cooper took advantage of Alex Earl. Alex Earl was kind of blind to the fact that she was being taken advantage of because that was her idol. So she just wanted to work with her and didn't really even realize what was going on. But she took her under her wing in the podcast world, basically promised her a lot of stuff. I don't, but like it's uncle. What were you promised? We don't know those things. But then like basically sent her a camera and said, like, go ahead, film a podcast and Alex Earl, like really didn't know what she was doing. So she said in that sense, like that was hard. She then said like she stopped getting invited to unwell events.

People just stopped showing up to meetings involving her podcast. It was very much like they didn't care about Alex Earl. To me, it seems like Alex Cooper saw Alex Earl getting very big. And Alex Cooper likes to keep people that are getting big. Beneath her in my opinion. And I think she wanted to keep her underneath her. And there's other stuff. Give me a, I'm super cloudy in my brain. Hold on. Is one of them the conversation where she made her talk about her sex life that made her feel uncomfortable? Is that one of them? Okay. So here's the thing. That part. I don't want to say the wrong thing. It's not like I don't think Alex Earl has a reason to be upset about that. I think the issue is less about the fact that on call her daddy, she asked you a question about sex because it was a sex podcast. That isn't as abnormal. It was the fact that after the fact Alex Earl was like, I feel uncomfortable

about this. Can we take this out? And Alex Cooper was like, no, like I think it's so funny. And because she looked up to her so much, she was like, okay, like she knows best. Like she's looking out for me. And that like that's how she kind of manipulated her. That's what I think is the bigger problem. Not the questions, although Alex Earl said like she purposely had her drinking before. So she felt more open to answer these questions. That maybe she wouldn't have normally answered. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. I mean, look, however it happened, the second Alex Earl comes to you, just like you said earlier in this podcast, somebody comes to you and says, you know what, after doing that podcast, Stephanie, can you take this part out? You'd be like, yes, I'll do that for you. If Alex Earl comes to you and says, you know what, that whole sex talk part can you take that out? Oh, no, no, it'll be fine. It'll be great. People will think it's funny. She just said, please don't put it in there. And Alex Cooper says, essentially, no, it's my podcast.

I'll do whatever I want. And that's kind of showing Alex Cooper's colors now, considering all the criticism that she has been getting nationally as a, as a woman that just promotes this women empowerment and girl boss and boss bitch and you're the best and you go girl. And yet she doesn't really seem to be a girl's girl at all. And her brand is like, oh, I just don't understand how anyone can think that's still. No. And that, you know, I'm sure you read the piece. I can't remember who's Hollywood reporter, or vanity fair that did the piece where they interviewed, you know, and they did it all off record. I get it. But I hated hated Alex Cooper's response when she was asked about it. She said, well, you know, you can't believe everything you read on the internet. And so they know this wasn't some blogger coming out and saying, oh, the unwell brand sucks. It was your own people who worked underneath you saying these working conditions. I didn't like.

And she was around when her husband would make suggestive comments to women. At the office or her husband would make rude comments to women at the office. Alex was aware and didn't do anything about it. So yes, you're not being a girls girl. If that's what was happening and you know your husband is doing this. And yet you don't do anything about it. Didn't she also like blame her pregnancy? Not blame, but she said like, I'm pregnant. So I don't really want to like get into drama. I feel like that was her answer. Or maybe I'm mistaken in it with something else. It might have been. I just remember her said if he was on GMA. And I just remember her sitting on GMA and saying, I can't believe everything you read on the Internet. And they flat out asked her. But it was just like the follow up should have been, well, Alex, I'm sorry. But these are your own workers that are saying this about you. Have you? Well, I'm going to be in America. They're not going to do that. They're not going to raffle those. Did you have a meeting the next day saying, hey, which one of you spoke? And clearly those people, if they raised their hand, they would have been fired on the spot. But the whole point is this wasn't just content creators, bitching about Alex Cooper and maybe her success.

Because she is built an absolutely huge empire. Her podcast is amazing in terms of the guests that she gets. But let's be honest and let's be real about what's going on here. She seems to profit off of other women's sob stories and then doesn't really. I don't think she actually gives a shit about the people that she has on the show. She's just having them on because they're a big name guest and they think she thinks that she could get, you know, ratings out of it and downloads out of it. And it's just like, well, yeah, she's all about a business mentality. And another thing that happens on Earl meets world, which is one of the questions I have. Alex Earl says that there is a phone call. Again, there's no like context as to when this happened or for what. But Alex Cooper says you don't want to go to war with me. And my question is like, whoa, whoa, wait. So you guys spoke when because Alex Cooper with the TikTok calling her out saying, you know, you're being passive aggressive online.

If you want to talk talk, that to me comes off like you guys have not spoken in quite some time. So when was the phone call that Alex Cooper says you don't want to go to war with me? And what was that over? And what did you say to that? Like to just say, she said something, that's a fucking, that's a crazy thing to say to someone and then call them out on TikTok and say, you want to talk talk. Knowing behind the scenes, you said you don't want to go to war with me. Like Alex Earl admitted she was really afraid of her for quite some time. So that's even worse to know that you were saying shit like that behind the scenes. And now you're egging someone on getting them to speak when you told them behind the scenes not to speak. Like it's all types of messed up. And she learned that she was dropped by unwell through the media. Through the media again. Or more questions. And then wasn't one of the other things that she found out that Alex Cooper was going to her college friends and trying to get dirt on Alex Earl. Wasn't that another one?

All these things were like sprinkled in and I just want to sit there with a microphone. But no, no, no, wait, one more thing. No, hold on. Like it just there was a lot. I was. What the details of that. Yeah, I just wanted more because it was going so quickly and I feel like I get it. She treated you like shit and you have every right to feel the way you do. But how did this all unfold? Like when you found out you were dropped through the media, that's super fucking shady. You had all the equipment though at your house. There had to have been another conversation after that. You had to have had to send back the equipment. What happened after you found out you were dropped. But through the media and why didn't you did you say like, hey, why couldn't someone freaking email me directly? You know what I mean? These are questions I have. And did she do a final. I didn't I never listened to Alex Earl's podcast. But did she do. No, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I didn't really watch either.

Just total tangent here because we're talking about influencers families. Did you ever watch the Demilio family reality show? Yeah. Did you like that? Alex Earl's is 10 times better. It is. Okay. Something's going on with the Demilio family now that I like they're having some major issue. Like I think Charlie has. Yes, she doesn't talk to them. Do we know why? Yeah. Because apparently the rumor is that the parents were managing the money and that they may have been taking more money than they were supposed to or something. And then Charlie found out after the fact and now she doesn't speak to the rest of the family. But Dixie still does. So if Dixie is still speaking to them, it's kind of confusing why. So I'm not quite sure. Is Charlie not talking to Dixie? I don't think so. I think it's like the three against one. Yeah. So it's not crazy because I watched that first season and I actually liked it. I was just like.

I like these people. They seem grounded. But then that was before I like it. I think that was right before. Charlie and her mother went on dance with the stars and maybe it got a little wonky after that. I don't remember. Yeah. I watch in the first season. I bet like wow. I remember them like trying to go shopping in Hollywood and Charlie couldn't even get out of the car. She was having a panic attack for a while. I was like, man, this is sucks for her. But I think that was a good example of like with that show, I really liked it when it focused on the people that we actually are tuning in for. When they would have like their friends over and I was learning all about their friends back stories. I'm like, this is not why I'm here. That's why I said I was happy with Earl meets world like, yes, there are the family members are there and they're part of the story. But like it's not like you. There's like a shopping date with like the mom and like the little sister like, you know, there's always something tying back to. A storyline that you would care about. Maybe in season two, they're going to go more like in depth with other stuff, but for now. I thought they did a really, really good job with it.

I think I read in a recap of the eight episodes of the Alex Earl show that there's a tease that maybe she's getting back together with Braxton. Is that what they're teaching you? No, that's see. Yeah, no. It ends. So the season finale is all about the Alex Cooper stuff, but it's also like a conclusion to her with Braxton. She basically calls Braxton and says, like, is there any like even a small percentage that you would ever consider getting back together. And he just says, oh, Alex. And then it ends. And then it's Benson Boone's time of my life. She was down my spine. It was such a good ending, but, um, but no, I mean, and now he's like, she unfollowed him in real time. So like now, I think I saw recently, I could have sworn I saw a story in the entertainment sites Braxton with. I think there's another woman, some other influencer or maybe athlete. I just thought I saw something recently that said Braxton burios now linked to so and so, but I can't remember who it was.

So yes, you are correct. That is true. That just. I don't know how to pronounce her name. I've never heard of this girl. Is she an influencer or is she an athlete? I don't know who she is. She is the ex girlfriend of someone that I think Alex may have been linked to at some point and now Braxton went on a date with her. And then Alex unfollowed. This is like, burios. Hold on. Braxton burios new girl for what's her name? Magical course the arrow. Yeah, I just didn't know how to say her name. I've only read it. I probably are now snipped wrong. It linked to Portuguese actress and model and Magui courses. Yeah, never heard of her. All right. Um, all right, I want to end with this. Um, um, bachelor at. We still talking about this. I just want to know your opinion. Well, again. You know, when you're not wrapping up your meetings, what,

I just want to know one. I just want to know what is your answer to. This is not an answer. like do you want to see it? Or are you like it's been six months now that since we've I'm yeah, I'm kind of over it. I mean if it came out, it's not like I wouldn't. I don't think I would rush to it. Yeah. I would cover it because I would feel like I had to cover it. But I'm not dying to see it. I've said that I've seen the first episode. It was very standard bachelor. It wasn't anything groundbreaking. The season looked good. I think Taylor probably did a good job making an interesting show. But at this point, I've heard that they're not even thinking about pulling the number two guy anymore because they don't plan to run her season. So if they're not going to run her season, no one's going to know who we could say it here. Shane, right? And it's like spoiling a season that's not even out. It doesn't count as a spoiler yet. But yeah, they're apparently well, you would

know. Or do you know of who else they're considering? No, I haven't heard anything. I just know the women are being told January is when filming will be for the bachelor. So they've got plenty of time to announce filming in January. I thought it was airing in January. That's when it usually does. But no, they're filming in January. They're so like. And then here's the other thing. Obviously Taylor Frank Paul season was supposed to be starting in March ending in May. We just saw and by the time people listen to this interview, season five of Secret Lives of Mormon wives will have already been released. It was released. Why does this coming out Friday? So secret lives, secret lives. I'm so tired. Yeah. It was released on the 10th yesterday. So people listen to this Friday, Secret Lives of Mormon live season five came out yesterday in the teaser that they gave us last week. We see the clip of Taylor Frankie Paul sitting with the other women talking about her season and who she

picked had the same initials as Dakota Mortensen. And yes, he proposed to me. So it's almost like can I can ABC or Hulu or whatever. At this point, if you air it, whether it's one episode a week on Hulu or you dumped the whole thing at one time on Hulu, Taylor Frankie Paul promoting it would be really weird because it's like, you know, during a regular season, the lead will put out pictures and be like, Oh, check in tonight's episode on this date or whatever. But it's like, your lead has already talked about she got engaged at the end to a guy with an initials of DM. Like what? What is there for her to promote? It would just be like, at this point, who cares? I think she has to, I don't think that's her promoting it. Essentially, I think she has to have that conversation on screen with the other girls because the last we saw of them all together, she's leaving for the Bachelorette. So for her to start filming with them and never acknowledge anything that happened on

the Bachelorette would be really weird. They have to at least like, but the fact that it did air makes me think that, well, how can you air the Bachelorette season now? Boy, sorry, what? Is the fact that what aired? What what Taylor said in the episode, talking to the girls, I chose somebody and I got engaged. And then I met up with Dakota and he came to my house that night. Yeah, what's the problem? So we're that that came out yesterday. Why are we going to show the Bachelorette now? She just gave away the whole ending. We already knew this. Like, I mean, we already know the ending when I spoil it every season and they still air the show. Your spoilers aside, though, the general, like I even felt okay, because like I don't do spoilers on my show because I prefer to watch them without spoilers. But she spoiled her own season months ago too. I mean, when she commented and someone said, uh, hooking up with your ex after the same day you got engaged and then she commented and said, no, the day after that was her spoiling her own show. I mean, yes, I guess she's confirming it was Doug Mason, but we

already knew that anyway. But my thing is that is a comment on an Instagram page versus a television show watched by millions of people. Like, yeah, she did spoil it with one sentence or four words or whatever. This is her on a show yesterday officially coming out and revealing what happened at the end of a Bachelorette season that obviously should have already aired. This all makes sense. If her season aired from March to May, because as like you said, then it's like, okay, season five of secret lives end of season four was her going to leave the Bachelorette. Then the Bachelorette was supposed to air. Then we're gonna get season five of secret lives. And it's like, okay, now I'm gonna talk about what happened on my Bachelorette season. It all makes sense. But the fact that the Bachelorette season didn't air makes it now weird that she openly talked about what happened. I'm not saying she shouldn't have talked about it. I'm just saying because of the wonky scheduling. And now secret lives is going to come out before a Bachelorette season air is not just like, well, what's the point of throwing it out there now? But if they didn't want it in the show, they could have just edited it out.

Exactly. So it makes me think that the fact that they left it in makes me think that well, now they're not going to show the Bachelorette. That's the way I looked at it. I don't feel I haven't felt like they were going to show it for quite some time now. Okay. Yeah, they might not. I mean, they might not, but now it just seems even weirder if they do. And let's just say they did. Would you want it in a one episode a week? Or would you want it in a full dump? I think they need to dump it at this point. Like you've made this has been such a long time. I don't know. I don't know if everyone's going to be like doing a routine schedule. I can't, sorry, I can't talk. My head is so glad. You're right now. I don't think people are going to sit every Monday night at eight and watch the show. I think at they'll watch out their own leisure. And that's just different because for 51 seasons, the bachelor fan base has never had to watch a season at their own leisure. And it makes it weird for content creators that are covering it because you're going to be talking about it. And you're just like, you just don't know how much of your

audience has gotten to episode three. And that's what I kind of liked about. Well, let's very Harry was a full dump, but the reunion wasn't and the reunion was so much fun because then like you knew everyone was watching it at the same time. And everyone was up to speed with this new information. Whereas like, or only to world, like, I don't know what part everyone's up to. I don't know if like they are interested in this part yet or if they've even seen this part yet, it's, it's tricky. But I do, I, I like a season dump. And then maybe like a season finale that everyone's on the same page, because there is something to be said about everyone watching together. Everyone's like sharing commentary together. Yeah. Yes, or easier that way. When you do full season dumps, you really lose some of the audience because not everybody whose job it is is to watch reality TV can just rip through a whole season of eight episodes. How long did it take you to get through eight episodes of Alex Earl? Well, that wasn't hard. No, I was very interested in it, but also the

episodes were only 40 minutes. Okay. So that was very helpful. A few days. Um, yeah, like two or three. Okay. Yeah. And not everybody can do that. So yeah, that's what makes it hard sometimes on binge watches. I love, I enjoy when shows dump it like that. But then sometimes I'm also like, but I also do like the weekly thing. I think maybe certain shows should do full dump and certain shows should be one a week or maybe maybe your premiere is two, the first two or three episodes. Yeah. Yeah. One a week after that. So yeah. Anyway, Stephanie, thank you so much. Get better. Um, I hope you have a great weekend. And, uh, obviously we will be in touch. But thanks again for coming on. I appreciate it. Thank you.
