Interview with Max Chamberlin , Co-Founder and CEO of InfinitySwap

In this episode, we talked with Max Chamberlin, Co-Founder of InfinitySwap.

Max is Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Oxford and a Master's Degree in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge, he cofounded Finity technologies (InfinitySwap) in July 2021 backed by Polychain Capital and A16Z's.

InfinitySwap is a DEFI platform to create, stake, and swap Tokens on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).

InfinitySwap has a similar architecture to Uniswap. They've ported a lot of the tech to Rust, and designed the platform to handle the asynchronicity of the IC. Their bridge contract complements Chain-Key and enables users to swap Ethereum tokens at a fraction of the cost.

Some of the novel features in the v1 release are the cheapest bridge between Ethereum and ICP, complementing Chain-Key and enabling direct swaps; social finance and a way to share your portfolio with friends on social media; a metamask style app to access your tokens.
